We had an emergency situation where we needed to drain our washing machine in order to do laundry. I'm a single parent with little time to waste. We booked on a Friday for a Sunday block appointment from 12-2pm. They called at 1:55pm to cancel leaving me with little to no time to find someone to come out.

They overbooked, cancelled at last minute and then attempted to reschedule with ""no promises"", seriously?

Then they deleted a FAIR & HONEST review on their Instagram page. This is anything but professional.

We called them to replace a kitchen faucet. It was not an emergency just whenever they could come. They put in a Kohler faucet, probably cost about $300.00. We were not told how much it would cost and we did not pre approve an estimate. They charged ue over $1300.00 !!!!! Outrageous
Total rip offs!! Not only that but the worker decided to work on our front door because the handle was loose.... no-one asked him to... we were not even home. He didn't fix it... he screwed it up so badly we couldn't get in the front door and had to call another service to fix his screw up. I called the company the next day asking for an itemized list of the cost and they refused saying they don't give itemized costs! I was told the manager would call me back but NO CALL!!! If you use this company I hope you know what you are getting into! Total rip offs!! Can you imagine paying over $1300.00b for a simple kitchen faucet! Live and learn and use someone else!

Do not use this company! We hired them to replace our hot and cold water lines due to previous leaks, and they didn't complete the job resulting in another leak. They tried to charge us to finish the job, and took no responsibility for the damage caused by the leak. Their management is unprofessional and rude. The maintenance contract is a joke. It saves no money, and is just a trojan horse that allows them to sell you on things that aren't needed. I've dealt with a lot of contractors, and Ponderosa Heating and Cooling is the absolute worst. Stay away.

Worst Experience ever. Call elsewhere for electrical work. Came out to do a bid, walked thru, no response for 1.5 months. Call again, they send someone out to do the job, from beginning they are looking for an excuse of not to work. Says now they'll have to come back another time.

So if you want poor communication, poor customer service, a bad experience and a high level of UN-Professionalism...this is the business you should go to.

If you want a good experience, look at another business. They are basically figuring out ways to not do business or to charge you additionally. Poor value and moral business in my opinion.

Ponderosa heating was able to come to my house within a week or so, and install air conditioner. Everyone I interacted with was very pleasant and friendly, and when the guys came out to do the air conditioner install, they were on time quick and efficient and they explained everything about the system very well in a friendly way. I had a great experience.

So far our experience with Pondersora has been great. Their entire team has been a pleasure to do business with. They were quick to respond on our request for a quote and Tim provided us a quote on the spot. They weren't the cheapest but we felt that they were the most professional, thorough and so far the easiest to do business with. Our install is next Friday and we couldn't be more excited. Huge thanks to Tim and the rest of the team for making a big purchase an enjoyable experience.

We purchased a new system last September (2020) after our entire system blew out due to lack of maintenance by the previous owner of the home. Since the home was only 5 years old, this was an absolute shock. But, Ponderosa came to the rescue. We purchased both a furnace and Heat Pump. They got us up and running very quickly before the cold weather hit just days later. We also purchased a service agreement which saves us money each year and provides other benefits as well. We have been very happy with the whole team. We can't say enough great things about our service technicians - Brett Durbin and Brett Taylor. They call and text, keep us informed and always arrive on time! A modern day miracle. Both of them, in fact everyone at Ponderosa, has been very professional and personable. If you are new to Central Oregon or just need some help from people you can actually rely on, call them.

Ponderosa did not disappoint. The great experience started when Chris showed up to review our complete heating and air equipment swap needs. He video recorded everything needing to be done so the crew could review it before showing up. Ponderosa move their installers up to sales reps eliminating a lot of rework because Chris new the details of the install. Next came a phone call at 4pm on the Sunday before our work started where their employee wanted to ensure we're ready for the install to start the next day. Jessie, the plumber showed up at 8:03 and knocked out all the prep for the next day. Codie and Carol showed up at 7:58 and worked it all day. Two electricians showed up in the afternoon for inspection. Just wow! 6 Ponderosa employees working my project. Thank you and please start a 401k for these hard working employees who are representing your company as though it was their own.

I contracted with this company because the home we purchased in Bend has all electric forced air heat with no a/c. From the initial consultation to the install we experienced timely, friendly service.
The team of four arrived on install day and completed all the work in about 6 hours. They also made repairs to the subfloor ducting and added a 220 outlet. All the team members were very professional and answered my questions including confirming the exact routing of lines and placement of the unit to my satisfaction.
I have worked with many contractors in my professional life and these gentlemen are a cut above.
I would recommend their company without reservation for your heating, and cooling needs.
