I help manage a small 4-plex building in the Tacoma area. My tenant complained of a water leak in the wall of her bathroom, and our handyman discovered a slow slab leak coming from the waste pipe.

Our building handyman is a gentleman in his early 60's and said the repair would require concrete drilling with equipment he did not own and was not physically able to complete. Our handyman recommended finding a plumber online that deals with slab leak repairs. Our handyman said this repair could go well into the $2k-3k range.

While driving on Canyon Road in Puyallup, I was stopped at a red light next to a work van with a large ""Rossco Service Plumbers"" logo. I figured, what the heck, and researched them online.

After reading several great reviews on yelp and google, I gave Rossco Service Plumbers a call. In speaking with Richie the owner, I sent over photos of the slab leak and a description of what was needed.

Richie gave me a quote of $2-$3k to complete the work and would take about 6-8 hours to complete -- which was right in-line with what my handyman stated.

I scheduled a repair appointment the following week.

On the day of service, Richie and his team arrived on-time and evaluated the area with 3 of his plumber technicians. Richie discussed the repairs with his lead plumber technician Jeff and another gentleman. Jeff and the other gentleman proceeded to make the repairs.

Jeff and the other gentleman plumber tech were professional, knowledgable, and kept me informed throughout the process. They both wore face coverings through the entire process.

It seems the slab leak was caused by foundation movement over the years that had caused a small crack in the piping. Minimal cement was removed, the pipe was realigned, sealed and repaired, and a brace was placed around the repaired piping.

After about 6 hours of work, the bill came to right at the low end of the estimate, $2k plus tax. I was so impressed with Jeff and his fellow plumber tech that day, I bought both gentleman lunch.

The next day, I had our handyman evaluate the work. He was very impressed with the work Rossco Service Plumbers completed.

Professional, on-time, and on budget. No up selling, add ons, or high pressure aggressive sales. Everything you can ask for in a service professional.

As a busy landlord, it feels good to have a skilled and honest plumber that I can rely on.

I called RossCo yesterday to tell them I had a slow-draining toilet. He offered to come same day (wow!) but said the next day was also open and better for their schedule which was just fine for me. In fact, I expected to wait a few days at least, since it wasn't an emergency situation. They gave me an arrival window of 10am - 12pm and Jared and Jake showed up right at 10am on the dot. They were so friendly and courteous. They figured out the problem quickly and they were in and out within 15 minutes and charged the fairest price I think I've ever been charged for a plumbing service. The big guys will rip you off and charge a few hundred just for coming out to diagnose. This is why I always come to Yelp and find the small businesses! Lots of integrity here. Will definitely use again and recommend in the future.

We were having issues with our sink gurgling when we flushed the toilets. Called Richie and set an appointment. He was very helpful with information about clogs and septic systems. Ended up fixing the problem ourselves and was very polite when I called to cancel. Will definitely call them if I need a plumber again!

Yesterday morning a hot water pipe under the house burst. Searching Yelp I contacted a few services with the best ratings and reviews and Rossco was on the short list. Richie (owner) was responsive within an hour, set an appt to look at the issue today (at no cost!) and after the inspection and quote (which was WAY better than other past repairs by other companies) the issue was fixed in less than an hour. Rossco's card is on the fridge for referral and staying there!

We realized we had a leak in our water line and had to shut off running water completely... the day before Thanksgiving. We decided to dig our own trench to the waterline and try to fix it ourselves. After many attempts and trips to Home Depot we decided to call in the professionals. Me, being a woman, received terrible customer service and outrageous estimates from most plumbers I contacted. Not the case with RossCo! They were absolutely respectful, kind and honest workers! They replaced the pipe from our meter to our waterline in under an hour. I will forever sing their praise! Jeff and Ritchie were fast, friendly and professional. We were preparing to go the holiday weekend without a working toilet and then Ritchie reached out over the phone after my yelp quote request. We set an appt. for the next day for him and his team to come and provide a free estimate on a toilet replacement. We had our estimate at 10am and a new toilet installed by 1pm today! Jeff did an amazing job with our toilet and the whole team took special care in our home when disposing of our old toilet. Great and good customer service are separated by the little things and this company did all the little things right! Ritchie even took the time to educate this new home owner on safe, cost effective water heater options. There was Zero pressure to buy and just an all around good experience. I don't anticipate we will have issues with our new toilet but Ritchie has offered support if we do. Thank you!!

I paid one plumbing company $50 to come out and tell me they had no idea where my leak was and I needed to call a leak detection company. The estimate for that was $1,000 and the plumber quoted me $3,500 to fix the leak after it was found.
Rodesco plumbing came out for free, crawled under my house, found my leak and then fixed it for less than $1500.
A week later a crawl space remediation company found another leak. RossCo plumbing was there 30 minutes after I called them, had the problem fixed within 90 minutes and gave me a break on the repair (charged me %450) since I had just had them there the week before.
The customer service is awesome. I'll never call anyone else!
