We have used this company for ~4yrs. I hired them for our weekly mowing because they are the only people I've found who say they only hire workers who are in the U.S. legally. This is important to me. But, there is always some problem, something they broke, (extra fee) trimming our shrubs exactly like I said NOT to do (I was very specific about what I wanted & Mike's response ""it looks fine, I like it, you should"") or skinning parts all over the lawn because they don't pay attention. When you call about these problems, Mike is always nice because... he always finds a way to blame it on us!! Last straw... He found a way to blame my wife for over billing us for the three weeks we cancelled because of planned construction!!! Legal or not, I'm done. They've cost us too much money in damage. STAY AWAY FROM THESE JOKERS.
As you can see from the company's comment-they have no problem forgetting THEIR mistakes & blaming you. There are plenty of similar comments on many websites. STAY AWAY!!

I received a quote for spring cleanup for $325.00. Other Landscapers offered $100.00 and the one I choose did a fine job. This company is not interested in small jobs or follow up on their quotations. Apparently they are not interested in new business.

I found Ross & Jack's on Yelp, so figured I should join to post my review of their work. We recently hired them to remove existing landscape, design a new landscape and install it. They were wonderful from beginning to end. During the consultation, Mark spent at least an hour with me, walking the property to make suggestions. After he sent the plant proposal, he worked with me to change a few things (I am really opinionated about my plants!), and he was never annoyed by my questions. His final plant suggestions were just what I was looking for- interesting and less run-of-the-mill. On installation day, he and his crew laid out the plants, we worked together to get them just right, and they put it all in the ground with speed and care.

Mark was always prompt in terms of communicating with me, which I really appreciated. His crew was great! While we were tinkering with plant placement, one of the men was edging our yard...at the curb...for free! They show real pride in their work and left our property in top shape. You can tell that Mark is a true plant lover- both in his plant selection and in his design- and his crew was so professional and conscientious. They all went above and beyond. We plan to use them again in the spring to landscape another area of the yard...I know this will be an ongoing collaboration. It's always nervewracking when you take a chance on a company; you can rest assured that these guys know their stuff and will take great care of you and your property.

We hired this company to redo our tiny little yard in the city. We weren't sure what we wanted, we only knew that we wanted a nice brick and some stepping stones to our grassy area. Mike came and went through all the options and designs and gave us his recomendations. We loved the finished product and the service was amazing. He was on time and everything was done when he said it would be, and now we love our little yard! You wouldn't go wrong with them.

I can't say how well the actual landscaping is because we never got that far. We had someone (Mark?) come out to give us a quote on a small job. ""Are you prepared to drop five grand on this? I don't think so."", he said. I guess he assumed I couldn't afford landscaping? Maybe if you charge us 5 grand to make a 15x15 plot look nice? He then told us we probably wouldn't live in our townhome for more than a few years. The guy was a completely disinterested in the job and spent the last 10 minutes of our conversation telling me how much money he has made by flipping homes. Oh wait, it gets better. His final suggestion, as a landscaper, was to just scatter flower pots around. ""You can find them at garage sales."" Awesome advice. This is your professional landscaping opinion? Come on!

I have used Ross and Jacks for design/install as well as weekly maintenence, they excel at both. I have read other reviews complaininging about customer service- while the owner can be very cut and dry, he is more of ""sensitive artist"" type vs. confrontational-he has talked me out of more stuff than he has sold me and is not shy about expressing his opinions-one memorable scenario was when he basically told me putting a bench in front of my house would look ridiculous, while I was taken aback by his candor I appreciated the fact that he told me it was an antiquated look and gave me better (and less expensve) options

I highly recomend this company, my yard looks amazing.

We have used these guys on many occasions for both landscape design and for the weekly service. I have yet to find another company that provides the same level of service or professionalism.

A big thing for me is customer service. I find bad customer service intolerable and they are very quick to respond to any issues while also taking the extra step to make sure that the job is done to perfection.

All in all if you are looking for professional service with an extremely knowledgeable staff, then you need to have these dudes on your list.

We have been customers for many years. As compared to other landscaping services, we believe they are far superior in terms of service and reliability as well as great landscaping design suggestions. They are also very responsive if there is ever a problem and their pricing is competitive.

In closing, we highly recommend them for landscaping services and as a result of what they have done for us, many of our neighbors now use them as well.

Ross & Jack's in the most reliable landscape company I have ever used. They are complete professionals, always leaving our yard looking great. They are also very responsive to special requests and very knowledgeable about plantings, landscape architecture and care. I recommend them highly for weekly yard maintenance and all the other services they offer.

These guys have been really great at working with me to help get our lawn and beds back into shape. Our neighbors have even commented on how nice our lawn looks. Marks guys come like clockwork every week and if there are little things that I need them to do, they do it as part of maintenance which is nice. I would definitly recommend them to anyone.
