Our water heater had a defective sensor and I called Rosenberg Plumbing to see if they had any availability to help swap out some parts, once the mfg sent them to me. As we had been out of hot water for 2 days, it was becoming an urgent matter (I know, first world problems!). Sarah picked up immediately and was very helpful, working with me to try and arrange for her technician to come out as soon as possible. Within 10 minutes, she called me back to let me know her technician will be able to squeeze us in at least for an assessment of the situation. Mike arrived within an hour and checked out and worked on the replacement part for our water heater. He was patient and gave me his professional opinion of our water heater and some necessary updates. Upon leaving, he pointed out what to look for and to call him immediately should we notice anything wrong. I really appreciate his customer service and will certainly look to Rosenberg Plumbing for any future plumbing needs!

I was paired with Mike in a bit of an emergency - a sink was overflowing with raw sewage in my basement. I was able to get in contact with Mike IMMEDIATELY, and he was beyond communicative while actively on site for another job. He was very calming over the phone. He graciously showed up at my house at the end of his already long work day to help. Even in a pile of crap, Mike was cracking jokes and making me laugh - in the wee hours of the night on his own personal time, he got my drain unclogged! He didn't stop there and made sure to thoroughly check that every plumbing fixture was working properly. I'm a bit of a nerd and was asking lots of questions along the way, and Mike had a great time explaining to me how things work. I am beyond grateful for Mike's help - he's extremely passionate about what he does and extremely caring of his customers. I would absolutely call Mike back for any problems in the future.

My water heater was leaking and needs to be replaced. The plumber called me back with in the hour and set up and appointment for the same day.
He was very knowledgeable, professional and reasonably priced. He even carried the exact water heater model I needed on his truck so that it was completed at that very appointment.

Beware of this company. Rosenberg Plumbing uses questionable tactics to extract more money from you. They were referred by First American Home warranty company to repair my leaking water heater. The plumber that showed up determined that the heater was non serviceable and it needed to be replaced. I agreed with his assessment since the heater was about 6 years old and it was making some strange noises before it started to leak. However he said that he cannot do the service unless I paid him $1,100 (he later said he can give me a $200 discount) to ""bring it up to code"". I was surprised because I thought it was up to code since I had paid $500 to my previous plumber when I replaced the water heater 6 years ago. In fact, that plumber gave me the same line ""need to bring it up to code"". I felt I was duped then because he did very little to justify charging the additional $500 but I went along since it was an emergency. This time Rosenberg Plumbing was asking $1,100 to do the same thing. It's very clear to me that this is a tactic that some plumbers use to fatten their wallet.
It is my understanding that First American pays the plumber about $2,400 for this particular repair but apparently it's not enough for them. They will try to extract additional $$$ from the homeowners who are in most cases desperate to get hot water.
In case you are faced with similar scenario please scrutinize and ask for a written itemized cost of the work and why it is necessary. In my case Rosenberg Plumbing refused to do that. You can always get a cash-in-lieu from the home warranty company and get someone else to do the work.
