So our water main broke yesterday... Sam the owner, came out with another guy first thing at 6am. I praise dedicated workers like this. The weather did not stop Sam and the crew. They had everything up and running by mid afternoon. Sam seemed extremely knowledgeable about what he was doing and also made recommendations on how to avoid something like this in the future. Rose Plumbing really gives you that local family business feeling, that's what I support. I highly recommend them for any plumbing service, regardless the size of the job.

Sam (owner) came out for an estimate on installing a full bathroom for my basement. I went with him because he knows my town inspectors and I would not have a problem passing inspection which he did except the final inspection. He started the repairs broke the concrete and left the concrete for me to dispose of which I did and was upset. I provided all the fixtures which he installed after months of calling him to come back. All that he did not complete was the tub fixtures. It is somewhat my fault for paying him in full cash $3000. All my calls go to voice mail. He works from his house and his mom Kathy is the so called manager. He does sloppy work and I don't think I would use him again. HOMEOWNERS BEWARE !!!

The actual workers that Kathy sends out are nice. Kathy is just the worst to deal with. She'll say she's gonna send a worker out, and then no one shows, she'll talk over the customer over the phone and argue with the customer. I used to think Rose was 5 stars, but now they are a 1 only because I had to deal with Kathy. She told me to go find another company because I called her to talk about a service charge when her worker was here for 10 minutes. I thought her company provided free estimates, and wasn't aware that it would be a charge to check it out. She said I wasn't worried about that when I called, only that I needed my kitchen sink fixed. I told her regardless, I would have like to have known about the mandatory fee ahead of time. I even said this must have never come up before because every other time I called it required some major work. The $135 service fee just to come out wasn't the problem. If she hadn't hung up on me, she'd have known that I was willing to pay it if that's the standard, I just wanted to provide feedback to let people know up front so it's not a shock. End of the day, great plumbers, Kathy sucks. She yells at the customer over the phone for asking questions, won't let the customer finish a sentence (even when asked), and won't even answer the phone when I'm simply trying to give my card to make a payment.She's a pain to deal with, and I'll take her advice and find another company. Sad to see the relationship destroy because one person just won't listen.
