I can't even rate them. Bought a house that these guys had been apart of and now it's going to cost me $2100 to repair. All their work is awful. Not to code, now I have another company testing my basement bathroom out trying to fix the flange.

I sold my house in York recently, and need to get a new expansion tank on the hot water heater after the inspection. Called Rose Bros., and they got in and did the work in a couple of days for a very reasonable price.

We specifically requested Bob, since he had done work at my husband's work. So imagine my surprise when his son, Blake, showed up for the job. I know everyone has to start somewhere, but I think this guy is about 18. Charging $80 an hour for such a novice is a huge rip off!

He ""fixed"" our tub drain which hadn't been holding water. When I tested it the next day the water drained right out! So he had to come back and fix it again. We were charged for both visits, $200. When my husband called to dispute the bill the secretary was very rude. Bob called him back the next day, and apparently the secretary's message was that we had said ""his son didn't know what he was doing."" Although I think this might be true we certainly did not say that. We also had to pay for the time he was giving an estimate for another job. His idea of an quote: ""It'll be less than $400. Yep, $400 would be the max."" That's a pretty big range, if the job would have been $200 we would have done it that day. Thank goodness we didn't, we'll never be using Rose Brothers again!

Do not trust their words, get it in writing! First time using rose brothers and definitely the last. We were quoted a good price and blake youndt, the owner's son did the work. Imagine our shock when we received the bill for something much higher than what was quoted. We made the call to Charles youndt, the owner of Rose brothers to see if he would honor the price, and was flat out refused! It is all about setting customers' expectations, and those representing Charles Youndt & his company did not do that. It was their mistake and he did not set it right. Iam sorely disappointed in rose brothers, and would not recommend them based on the way they handled the situation.
