Called him for a particular piping repair. He suggested I do a simple check first to make sure a plumber was really needed. His suggestion worked so I never actually had to hire him. But now he's on my list as an especially ethical plumber should I need any other repairs in the future. Few would walk away from easy money so he is appreciated here.

Our radiant floor heating stopped working suddenly, just as winter was setting in. Our place became very cold in the evenings through the early mornings, and we have little ones at home. We called up Niall to see if we could get some help with getting our radiant flooring turned back on.

When we spoke to Niall on the phone, and explained our situation - he was extremely kind & empathetic. He immediately said he'd see if he could come out that morning to get the water heater fixed and re-enable the radiant floors.

Sure enough, within just three hours of the call, Niall showed up at our place and needed just twenty minutes to figure out what was happening with the water heater. Not only did he get it turned back on, he explained to me what had happened (there was no water PSI in the tankless heater) and what I could do to re-enable the radiant heating myself should the PSI drop again.

Niall is extremely competent, very kind, reasonable on his prices, and is just generally the type of merchant that you want to buy services from. I can't recommend him & ROS Plumbing enough.

Our radiant heating boiler stopped working. ROS came out and discovered the system was installed poorly, resulting in the boiler to stop working much sooner than it should have. He recommended we replace the boiler rather than spend money to do maintenance work on a recurring basis. That same day he gave me a cost quote and then came out the following week to install it. The price was reasonable and I felt he was looking out for my best interest. Highly recommend for radiant heating needs!

There was no hot water in our tankless water heater at our SF condo. Niall came out as soon as he could and quickly fixed the issue (igniter failure). He was quick and professional. Niall is my go-to plumber in the city!

I highly recommend Ros Plumbing. Niall and a member of his team, Fernando, came out to diagnose the cause of a leak, which left me without water for three days. They corrected the problem (replacing an aged pump) the next day. Additionally, they corrected an old issue which resulted in no heat, and installed a new thermostat and garbage disposal unit both of which were no longer functioning. All within five hours! Not only are they talented and efficient and reasonably priced but they are also personable -when everything is going wrong, a nice demeanor goes a long way! Thanks Niall and Fernando!

I wish I knew to call them first. I called maybe near a dozen heating repair folks or plumbers I found on Yelp and they either never called me back or were straight up terrible. ROS Plumbing actually came by and we're courteous and professional and repaired my radiant heating system and boiler after many frustrating weeks of getting nobody in all the Bay Area to even get back to me. I'll always use them for anything plumbing in SF from now on.

Fernando came by on a couple of hours notice with an emergency water heater problem we were having for several days. He was one of the best and friendliest professionals we have ever had the pleasure to hire. Fernando fixed the problem in 10 minutes - let us keep the replacement part in case of future problems - and explained the workings of the heater in easy to understand terms. Aside from no hot water for a couple of days it was good to meet such a great guy and total pro!

Niall is the most amazing plumber and truly understands service. He has been a savior 2x on an old and very odd boiler on weekends and evenings. i can't speak highly enough of Niall - would never use another plumber.
