Very horrible and unprofessional my rental property has a main line leak located outside the property I called Jose at 10 p.m. I was told he would arrive within one hour he did not arrive until 2:30 a.m. The next morning on top of it his wife knocks on my front door at 230 in the morning to fix a problem that was located outside they didn't even have to enter into my unit to fix the problem his wife asked they use my power at 230 in the morning waking me up out of my sleep when I had to be to work at 530 in the morning they are very unprofessional with a very slow response time

Jose does great work. I recently moved into a home and discovered a big water leak when the carpet was being replaced. I called him up since he was recommended from my in-laws as doing great work at a good price. He came out and fixed the leak plus a couple of other leaks that he discovered had not been fixed that the previous owners were supposed to fix. He definitely cares about his customers and remembers them. I recently ran into him at a store, a good month after he did the job for us, and asked me how the repairs were holding up. He does care that the quality of his work is top notch and his customers are happy.

Want to say how happy we were with Roroman's work. Very prompt, very clean and helped us out a lot with our older home. We had a small issue with our kitchen sink after Jose installed it. He was out the very next day to fix it. Highly recommend this company. They work very well with older homes.

This review is for service only. I had a water leak issue in my backyard and needed a plumber. Roroman was the quickest to give me an estimate and come repair it the next day on time. A day after the job was done, I had a small issue, I called him again and he picked up right away and made an appointment the next day again to resolve it. I would recommend Roroman and use him again if I have any future issues.

Roroman gets 4 stars for being on time and the follow up service even after he got paid.

Roroman Plumbing is the best plumbing company I have ever used. They were responsive, efficient and very pleasant to deal with. We had several issues to repair, from leaking faucets, running toilets to a bad booster pump. Jose was able to take care of all our issues and I would highly recommend him/them to anyone. I had some issue with my garbage disposal and some water damage under my kitchen sink. Was looking for a handyman to handle both issue, but with no luck. Took a chance on calling a plumber. I called Roroman Plumbing, and lucky for me he was in the neighborhood. Showed up within 30 minutes, and replaced my garbage disposal within 30-45 minutes. I had also a minor issue with my dishwasher, which he took a look and fix for free. Jose was very helpful,patient, and very professional. I know it hard to find an honest service provider, (plumbers,mechanics,handyman,etc). With a few 1 STAR rating I see, I would recommend them to have better commuication with calling customers back. I would be upset too if I took the day off and there was a no show on any service provider that I had made an appointment with. But going on with my experience with Roroman Plumbing, I give them a 5 STAR. And definitely will call them for future plumbing issue.

We originally hired Roroman Plumbing in January 2013. Due to a recent event, I've decided to add my review now.

In January 2013 we moved in to our new (old) house. Within a week, our toilets were slow to drain and we could hear water in our sewer pipes under the house. When I called Roroman, a man named Carlos called me back. Upon arrival, Carlos first told me about his 16 years of experience as a plumber. Then he told me the owner, Jose, was stuck at Lake Tahoe because his car broke down. After looking at our issue, Carlos called Jose and then quoted us $1,200 for two cleanouts to be installed in our house. Carlos could not tell me where the stoppage was or that the $1,200 would fix our issue. We went back and forth and he ultimately snaked our line through a toilet drain, found nothing, and installed a new toilet for $300.

The next day, our tub and shower filled with black sewer water, which was worse than before we called Roroman. I immediately stopped payment on the $300 check because I couldn't get a hold of Jose. Jose finally responded to my calls and began lecturing me about how the $1,200 cleanouts Carlos tried to sell me would have ""saved me money."" Not sure how spending $1,200 is saving. Jose finally agreed to come look at the issue in person. When he arrived, he made the comment that his company had already spent too much time at our house. At that point, Carlos had performed about an hour total work for the $300 we paid. Jose diagnosed our problem as tree roots in our sewer pipe. His estimate: $6,000 for a new sewer pipe. We went back and forth and he agreed that he could install a cleanout where our main sewer pipe was to snake our main. Upon digging, a cleanout was discovered hidden under the dirt of a flower bed. Jose snaked the line, cleared the roots, and charged us $400 for that days work. I wrote him a new check for $700 to cover both days work and instructed him to not cash the original check. He cashed the $700 check immediately.

Last week (March of 2014, 15 months after performing the work) the original $300 check cleared my bank account. According to the bank, the stop payment is only good for 1 year because checks are only legal for 6 months. I was also informed that it was illegal for Jose to cash that check since it was beyond 6 months old. Essentially Jose broke the law. I will ultimately get our money back but it goes to show the character you are dealing with with Jose and his company.

The best part is when our line clogged again, I paid a different company $99. They snaked the line and used a camera to determine the problem was on the city's property. I called the city and they fixed the issue free. Jose would have sold me $1,200 worth of cleanouts and a $6,000 sewer pipe.

Since my husband and I bought our house in 2011, we've needed several plumbing jobs done, and we've had them all done by Roroman plumbing. Jobs have ranged from major (replacing gas lines and the water heater when we first moved in, and later fixing a drain pipe leaking inside the wall) to minor (leaking under the sink) and they have done all of the jobs with the same care and attention to detail.

I've been very pleased with their customer service. It's easy to communicate with them--they call back when they say they will and arrive to do the work on schedule. They have sent a couple different plumbers to our house, and they have all treated us with the same courtesy. When at my home, they are careful to take off or cover their shoes and to clean up any mess that may be caused when they're doing the job. When we had a mysterious issue with our water pressure, they showed me what they did to diagnose the issue and explained the repair that would have to be made, and I appreciated that they were willing to take the time so that I would know what was going on.

When it comes to prices, I'll admit that I haven't done a lot of shopping around for quotes for the jobs I've needed done, but I haven't felt the need when their prices have always seemed reasonable to me. There have never been any hidden fees--the quote they give before beginning the job is the total price including both labor and supplies. They don't charge a fee just to come out to diagnose the issue either, which I've run into with other companies in the past.

I've been pleased with the service from Roroman Plumbing on several jobs and wouldn't hesitate to call them again when needed.

So, after Roroman worked on my garbage disposal, I noticed that there seemed to be water leaking under the sink. Pretty badly. So I called, (this was several days later) and he came over promptly to fix what I thought was a mistake. He said it was part of his quality guarantee, no problem.

Turned out, the disposal work was find, this was something else with my dishwasher. (No no error in his work with the disposal, which was good.) It was great to have the no-hassle guarantee with the previous work.

Particularly, I appreciated that he took the time to answer my questions and educate me about the systems I had questions about. (I like to understand what's going on.)

As always, he was courteous, definitely go right to work--no dilly-dallying, and the leak was fixed no-hassle.

I will be calling Roroman for all my plumbing stuff from now on. I have a sense of assurance with them.
