I had a high water level alarm go off on my septic pump tank over the weekend. I determined the pump in fact went out, it was 10 years old and improperly installed. Chris came out Monday i told him I needed both tanks pumped (2500 gl total) a new pump, float switch and alarm switch. and to rewire everything on a post. initially he quoted me 4100 i told him i had to think about it but wanted both tanks pumped in the mean time. he cam back with 3400. i had nether the time nor desire to play in crap for a day or two so i said do it. cost breakdown for the three major parts item cost internet cost pump w/float-switch $1650 most expensive pump i found was $800 2"""" pvc check valve $490 most expensive $55 alarm float $525 most expensive $56 I'm not against paying a fare price but the markup on this was a ripoff, needless to say do your home work http://www.septictankparts.com and http://www.septictankparts.com are a great resource if you want to do it yourself. had I the time, i would have done it myself and saved about 2000.

Had a clogged main line that had attempted to clear myself and knew was expensive and time consuming to call plumbing but found Roto online and they sent Paul their field tech to my home within an hour and he fixed the problem in minutes and even used camera to help find any issues. When he left he left me a quote that was very reasonable to fix any future issues which I will utilize. Paul was so professional and courteous that I felt the need to call the company also and let them know. So rare to to repair techs that you feel the need to actually call in about. Great job Roto Plumbing!

I had my septic tank pumped out last month for the first time (house is 10 years old) and had an ok experience. I knew it was going to cost more than the $159 to pump my 1000 gallon tank due to so many years of no service. All in all they charged me around $550 just to pump the tank and extra lines to pump with. They never offered any extra services or said I needed to replace anything.  This week my female neighbor that lives alone and is older asked about my septic service. Her house being smaller and only one person living there for 10 years I told her it should be around the price I paid or less.  I gave her the referral and they came out the same day. Hours later I get a call from her crying about how much she had to spend because so much was wrong with the septic tank. WHAT! I got her to explain what all they charged for and later that night she showed me the bill. Being smart she was taking pictures the whole time they were at her property and what the tank looked like and even the filter. Looking at the pictures of everything her tank was in much better shape than mine was. So I was floored that they took advantage of an older woman for over $2600! To break it down they charged her for a brand new filter and had to replace the pvc pipe for the new filter to fit. This was an over $400 charge when they just took a water hose to mine. Next was to pump her drain field out for over $300. Why? They didnt offer me this service. Then came the whopper of a oxidizerPlus treatment that would clean her drain field for over $1600. None of the services they told her she needed were offered to me...why?  I feel horrible I gave her a referral for a company that would take advantage of a older lady that lives alone. I needed to write this to help other people find out how horrible this company is. I thought I was going to get a 150 dollar septic tank clean,after showing up the next day from scheduled date they dug my yard up and showed me a root inside my tank, they said this was very bad and they have to cut up all the roots in my tank and dig all the way down the sides of my tank and dig out all the roots and treat it. this was going to cost 1500 instead of 150 One hour later everthing was done I think I just got screwed.I had a back pain issue and could not watch everything. they also left my yard a mess got my money and left. I found two big oil spots on my driveway where they parked the next day.Con artist

Thank you for resolving the sewer issues at my car wash. Two other companies tried and failed to find the problem. Given that two manhole covers were BURIED under landscaping it was a very difficult situation to resolve. Everyone involved was friendly and professional and did what needed to be done quickly. Your employees are A # 1. It's nice to find a company that stands by its work and does what's needed to get the job done right and without delay. Worth every penny!

I made an appointment with this company to have them look at and replace my water heater. They make the bookings by 2 hour Windows so I made it. No one showed up within my 2 hour window nor did I receive a call. I called an hour and a half into my window to make sure the booking didn't get screwed up. They gave me some bogus excuse, but then told me they had a technician near by and that if he did not free up within 15 minutes they would call me to let me know. I received no such call back. I then waited another hour (30 minutes passed my window) and called them again. They told me the technician stayed at another job to do additional work which they had not planned, and that they would call me with an hours notice later in the day when he freed up so that I could """"come back to the property for him"""". Basically keeping me on hold for them the rest of the day without a specific time frame in mind, after they already blew the appointment window that they set for me. When I complained about this as I am doing here, they offered no real apology and told me it would be at least another hour before the Techncian would free up and that they would call me. Clearly their time is more valuable to them then mine, and I cancelled the appointment all together. I will not ever use this company because customer service is clearly not their priority.

BEWARE!!!! INSPECTOR DRAIN, INC. DBA ROOTERPLUS! Would rather give them NO STARS, but not option. BAIT & SWITCH-PRICE GOUGING-SCARE TACTICS Want to start by saying we had NO PROBLEMS prior to calling for septic tank service. Called Rooter Plus to pump septic tank, was told over phone $150 for 1000 gal. or $250 for 1500. We didn't know what size we had but wanted to get this work done and asked them out. After began working, the tech said our system was needing a bunch of additional services($2900!!) or we'd have sewage backing up into our home!! It was evening, the septic opened and exposed and we were afraid not to allow this them to do the work fearing the worst. He offered us a 10% discount (WOW) for paying cash and we paid them $2640.20 cash! Felt sick about it! Next day, I made some calls and researched online to find out we were taken advantage of! We could have gotten a BRAND NEW system installed for under $2900. Several complaints online from homeowners with similar situations. I called the owner, Gary Jeffers, just to be told they did what they said they would do. He said he could offer a reduced price $2400. We did not need all these extra services and certainly didn't need to spend $1668.73 for 2 gallons of Oxidizer PLUS, which is a treatment brand only available through Rooter Plus. I was told by several companies this was totally unnecessary, I should have paid no more than $350 for the septic pump. PLEASE BEWARE of this company! They are scamming homeowners of thousands of dollars and need to be STOPPED!!

Although we had a tough time getting someone scheduled due to it being a Monday morning, we were patient and technician Chris arrived and did a wonderful job cleaning out a blockage in our main sewer line. No tricks or scams, just a low reasonable price. I had talked to so many other companies that wanted 5 times the price just to come out and look....I hope the world at large gets back to charging a fair price for doing a good job and keeping their word, like RooterPlus has done. Thank you.

RIp off city. Will take advantage of the situation by price gouging you when they come to your house. Best to have somebody else come not looking to charge you $800 to run a snake down a toilet. Also, did not come during the 4 hour window that was promised and had to reschedule to another day.
