Eddie at Rooter-Man saved the day! A neighbor alerted me to a sewage leak on the side of our property. The first plumber came out and quoted me $600 just to get started running a line, he warned me it may be $5,000 at the end of the day (if they have to dig out and replace the whole sewer line.)

Wanting a second opinion we had rooter-men out. These guys immediately tried to clear the line, looked under the house to make sure there wasn't water there too. They worked at it for a while, with none of the doom forecast the other plumber had, and then Eddie came by and cleared the line after hours. I'm so impressed with the whole team and their dedication to doing the job despite all its obvious difficulties, not to mention Eddie coming by late afternoon just to make sure we are not worried about flushing toilets tonight!!

It was so nice not to have these guys start preaching about how to do this and not to do that.

They were prompt, identified two problems (I was only aware of one) and showed me the estimate.

For the work they did, they were prompt, efficient and professional. They came the same day and time they said they would.

Very happy with this company and I still have both of my arms and legs!

I know nothing about plumbing and am very cautious/paranoid about being taken advantage of. My first impression of Eddie was confident and likable but I was still cautious. My caution increased when my problem became more involved. My lower shower pressure was not due a bad cartridge (the easier fix) but more likely involved a bad shower value. Adding more complication was that this couldn't be repaired from the back side due to interfering duct work. My tile had to be cut in the shower. I was warned about possible damage that might require someone skilled in tilt repair. My caution grew. Called another 4.5 star company with a quote for the same job that was $450 more. In addition I didn't have the same level of confidence in the technician.
Eddie came out the following day and did the repair. No issues with tile cut and all is well. If I have another issue again and will be calling Rooter- man and will probably ask for Eddie

Had a leaking water heater that required replacement. Communication was excellent from the initial phone call and through the entire process. When the tech Eddie arrived, he quickly diagnosed the problem, provided a quote and began the work. Great (same day) service at a great price! I highly recommend.

Called Rooter-Man with an underground water leak on my side of the City of Austin water meter. Ed came to fix my problem on the next business day. He was professional and seemed to fix the problem right. He pointed out the problem and explained how it might have happened. It was likely a problem caused by sloppy work of a previous plumber who took some short cuts. Cost was about 600 to dig it all out and fix. He also adjusted my water pressure to the house at no charge. Also gave me advice on a water heater issue of concern. I'm pretty happy and believe my problem was solved by someone who knew what he was doing. That gives me comfort. Never hire a fly-by-night plumber. It will end up costing you more than doing it right the first time. That's a life lesson. You get what you pay for in most things. I can recommend this company.

I am a real big fan of the Rooter-Man! We've used these folks for repairs on our very old house for the last five years, and they are always game to deal with whatever surprises it throws at them (scary crawlspace, old pipes, etc). They are not especially cheap but the customer service is excellent. They are always on time and knowledgeable.

Rooter-Man came out today to fix what turned out to be a clogged drain. I've had plumbers out with cameras, rooters, we've tried everything. Rooter-Man took care of it. Curtis was personable, knowledgeable, professional. He was efficient, and cleaned up the mess!

He also gave me a quote on a couple of other repairs while he was here. I highly recommend Rooter-Man if you need it done right!
