We had a nagging and difficult toilet leak in our upstairs restroom and reached out to Rooter Solutions for help. Ruby was very responsive and Juan did a great job with a smile. He even checked our meter (also difficult) about a different issue. Would highly recommend!

I had a SUPER bad smell in my 2nd bathroom drain. (The service mgr.) Came out. He said he never smelled anything like that at all. He did a camera inspection for 495.00. He found a big build up of greas between the kitchen and really nothing from there to the bathrooms to the main sewer. I have no copper pipes. I had zero clogs or slow drains, only a smell. After his inspection he recommended the turbo clean. 1495.00 (holy crap)
The smell was heavy like cat urine. I asked if they apply the inspection fee to the repair, he said no. My line of work applies the fee. ( auto repair) I asked, how will I know it's clean? He said after the flush he would return and camera inspect again. He never returned or called me! I still had the smell, it was better after they flushed it but still bad. I googled the problem and found mostly bacteria and mold cause this (very common) smell. Low and behold I poured a gallon of bleach down each shower drain. Waited 24 hours an then flushed it out. ""SMELL GONE"" I was never given a receipt either. It took 3 emails and 2 phone calls to get it. I noticed that no senior discounts had been applied at all. The service Mgr said he already gave me a discount and they have no other discounts. When I looked at their website it said they gave a 15% discount for seniors. 1980.00 to have your main lines flushed and the problem was in the drain. Licensed and professional? Maybe for laborers but not HONEST plumbers. The smell is gone however after the work a BAD taste remains. That's just my experience!

Blatantly lied to my face. My sink was clogged. Called these guys to do the rooter magic thing. Two people came out and told me that all the pipes were leaking under my house and needed to be replaced. They did not try using the rooter. Called a second plumber for a second opinion. Took him 5 minutes to clear the drain. Confirmed that there were no leaks under the house and that all the pipes are fine.
Total scammers. Don't call them.

Watch out for these people. They tried to scam me. A second inspection of all my plumbing proved Everything they told me was a problem was proved to be a LIE. Beware.

Please take off that hideous commercial! I'm sure you guys have a great company but I have to mute that commercial every morning. Please!

I hired another plumbing company to provide me with the proper equipment (moterized snake that turns, with the right diameter (1/2"") and an auger, right length) to stop the water from going from washing machine directly to adjacent bathroom sink. This plumber's snake went all the way down to the street, stated I have 3 clogs, removed the clogs, did a great job.
Your trainee's 1/4"" diameter snake, with no auger and no motor rotation, would never remove the clogs in the pipe, also putting it in
15-20' feet would not remove the clogs. I'm using Zep Drain Defense to clean out the entire pipes, for 3 days, doing the job.
Low and behold, as I have stated, the water does not go up to the adjacent bathroom sink anymore after doing several loads of laundry. No $1350 Hydrojet is/was ever required, as was stated by Field Mgr, the only solution to prevent water from coming up in the adjacent bathroom sink. All the Field Mgr had to do is make this right, provide the right equipment to
remove the clogs and he failed this customer, failed to honor companies commitment to customers as clearly stated on your companies own website. I called Manager last week in Santa Barbara, she was going to fix this with Frank. Also sent Shara (Asst Director of Customer Relations) an email last week. No response back from Frank and Shara.

We had a broken pipe at 7:00 pm Friday night resulting in water pooling in the front yard and water flowing down the street in our neighborhood. This was a continuous flow. Went to Rooter Solutions instead of Roto Rooters, considering it was a local Ventura company and they would be more honest as compared to a bigger corporation. Was totally wrong! While their technician, Jaime was very thorough, and did what he was told, the division manager- Ernesto Garcia who came out to give a quote totally took advantage of our dire situation and charged more than twice of the actual cost. Upon questioning the time the entire job would take, he mentioned 'it was an all day job'.
The technician barely worked on the job putting in a couple hours of labor, the other 1.5 hours spent in getting the parts needed. Parts required would've cost minimal as there was just a part of a pipe leaking. We ended up paying a fortune for this minimal work.
I had young kids in the house and we had to shut off our main water line since last night. So basically had been without water for over 12 hours. Also, my husband was out of town due to a family emergency. Ernesto who was solely responsible for quoting the price of the job, totally ripped us off in our hour of need. Also seemed like that they didn't have a set price for jobs they did and quoted whatever they felt like.
Very dishonest and and I feel hurt that a local company that we wanted to offer our business to would end up charging an arm and a leg for minimal work. Would not recommend:(

I called Rooter Solutions for a clogged shower drain and they sent someone out to snake it for a flat $54. However, the snake didn't work, so the repairman called for a manager to come. The manager proceeded to write up an $1800 estimate for hydro jetting that he reduced to $1600 with ""discounts"". At first, I signed the order, but felt in my gut to get another estimate and I did. Am I so glad I did! The plumber who came from Worthy Plumbing, cleared the clog in minutes, and all for $150! I'll never call ""bait and switch"" Rooter Solutions again and wouldn't recommend them.

Ernesto and Jaime arrived right on time, were kind and attentive, and gave me a best case and worst case scenario quotes (both of which I felt I could live with), and got to work right away. I had a leaky toilet and it turned out that the plastic mount had basically disintegrated, so they installed a new metal mount and remounted the toilet. I especially appreciated that when I called at 5:30pm expecting to leave a voicemail, there was a representative who was able to schedule me an appointment for the next morning. What great service!

Our laundry drain started backing up again, so I snaked it like I usually do every few months but this time even the kitchen sink and toilet in the garage backed up so it was time to call a professional. I checked the reviews online and went with the Rooter Solutions based in here in town. Jaime promptly came out and tried to snake and clear out the line to no avail. I had read about the $54 special but knew this was going to be more complicated. Next Ben followed a short time later with his camera and we were able to see how bad the sewer lines were as the house is over 60 years old. I had read some reviews by some who thought this was the upsell moment by the company. Perhaps yes or no but the camera does not lie and Ben merely presented the facts with no pressure. I'm sure the Rooter Solutions has experienced every possible sewer line situation at some time as that is their specialty. Ben was very knowledgeable and offered several scenarios and alternatives for repair. We made our decision to have major work done and were glad we chose Rooter Solutions.
Jaime then took charge and directed all the work. We were impressed by the number of workers and modern equipment brought in on such short notice. Each member of the team knew exactly what to do and went right to work. I know we could have gone with a smaller local plumbing company but there is absolutely no way they could have matched the efficiency, speed and major equipment brought in. Rather than open holes in the slab in the house they burrowed under the slab and connected 2 toilets, 2 sinks, a tub and a shower to the new seamless PVC/Rubber sewer line that was mechanically pulled through. Jaime was under the house for hours working the connections! A second sewer line was installed for the kitchen sink, laundry and garage 1/2 bath which did require a 3ftx3ft hole in the garage. The stucco and the sheetrock were perfectly done, now I have to paint. One last thing, the crew always showed up on time and was neat and clean to start the day. Thank you Jaime and crew.
