Both bathroom sinks clogged, they share a pipe, these ""plumbers"" charged us $890 and took a full day to open a wall to clear clog. Once the walls were open, plumber claimed his snake was too small to do much and we needed to re-route our plumbing which we were quoted over $10,000. To recap: He went through the trouble of cutting a wall open and did not have the right tool for clearing a slow drain. I told him ""Do what you can, we can't really reroute the plumbing right this moment."" After two months drains clogged again.

Elite Plumbing came out, charged us $140 and took 30 minutes to use a heavy-duty snake, drains are working 100%. I mentioned to this plumber that we were concerned with the age of the pipes, this plumber clearly was not too concerned, and did not attempt to up sell us anything.

As much as I want to give Rooter Solutions the benefit of the doubt and call them incompetent to an extreme degree, the bottom line is they are unethical beyond belief. They are salespeople FIRST and plumbers LAST. After talking to some friends, this is nothing new, it is not unusual for them to recommend tens of thousands of dollars of work, when a simple repair is all that is needed.

Great job and great service. Called at 12 noon in Saturday tech was here by 2pm pipe replaced and fixed by 315.pm Jesse was a great tech fast and knowledgeable. Cant ask for a better experience! Thanks Jesse.

Rooter Solutions was helpful in suggesting what we should do to fix our shower handle which kept falling off. Instead of coming to fix it, and potentially charging us a lot, they gave their recommendations. We took their advise and was able to repair the handle.

We tried to use the $69 clog removal coupon. The clog was deemed ""too difficult"" for that price. I was given the option of finding another plumber or ""other options"". Since we needed the drain to work, I chose ""other options"" but wish I had not in hindsight.
The option recommended and approved by me was to remove the toilet and run a snake for over $150 (I can't remember the price). That did not work and they said it was too clogged for the snake to work. Now the recommendation was to ""hydrojet"" at $1,300. We tried that and failed again. This time they showed me on a camera that the 3"" line was rusted so badly that hydrojetting did not work. They showed me a picture of a 3"" pipe that only had an opening about the size of a nickel. They ""pinpointed"" where the clog was with a cool beeping device. Then they gave me an estimate for $6,800 to tear out a wall and go through the stucco with a new pipe. This did NOT include patching the stucco etc. I though this was getting excessive so I stopped at the $1,300 bill with no results and called another plumber.
Now this gets to the interesting part. The new plumber got to the exact spot where rooter solutions pinpointed the ""clog"" was and we removed about 4' of the pipe and replaced it. The cast iron pipe was in amazingly good condition with a minimal amount of scaling on the bottom of the pipe and not clogged at all. I believe that none of this was necessary and I believe Rooter Solutions must have shown me a doctored picture of the ""clog"".

I got an ad offering unclogging and camera inspection special for $59. I called about a problem with a toilet that tends to need plunging. That same day Pedro arrived on time, masked and put special booties on to protect my floors. He was extremely well spoken and careful. I give him 5 stars!

Unfortunately the ad misrepresented their service. I needed a camera to determine the problem, but it turns out the actual cost of using a camera added over $300.

Carlos came out at the end of the day when they could have just postponed until the next day. He quickly found the source of our kitchen sink clog and fix it within minutes by snaking the drain. He also made worthy suggestions to flush tge pipes on another service...no pressure sales. Good dude.

WATCH OUT!! I had a clogged shower drain which seemed like an easy fix. Next thing I know the person doing the plumbing work had his supervisor come out and tell me I needed to have my water lines changed all the way out to the street and it would be $20,000!! I asked around town and found a locally respected place that fixed everything and it was NOWHERE NEAR that price. Get a second quote before letting these guys rip you off!
