Out of desperation, we called another company when our kitchen sinks backed up and Rooter Solutions was all booked up for the day. Well, the technician from the other company was not able to clear the clog as their snake was too short ( ~38 feet) nor had a camera. This other company quoted us $850+ to come back the next day with more equipment and clear the clog. No thank you.

We called Rooter Solutions and were able to get someone out that afternoon. Miguel C. came and was able to get the drains cleared out. He snaked the drain about 70 feet to unclog it and checked to flow in only about 30 minutes, bringing all necessary supplies. Miguel C. even laid out a mat underneath his work area--keeping everything clean and dry ( something which the other company failed to do, making a mess) and he tidied up afterwards (with his own Simple Green!). I was really impressed with the professionalism of Rooter Solutions with how smoothly everything went and came prepared to do the job.

An efficient, reliable, and affordable plumbing service is hard to find, but Rooter Solutions is just that!

Hard to get a hold of a plumber in SB. I got lucky. I ended up with Rooter Solution because they answered the phone and set up an appointment immediately. My tech was Miguel Campos and he was polite, professional and efficient. He knew his stuff and explained everything along the way and fixed my drain issue.

I liked that he made completely sure that there were no issues under the cabinet before he wrapped things up.

The best part was that Miguel was ultra tidy and probably left the area cleaner than when he found it. Our issue was upstairs he was careful to make sure he covered his shoes and even wore his mask through the whole repair.

This was done just today so I'll update if there is any issues with the repair but it looks good so far.

Techs like that make me want to use Rooter Solutions again. I highly recommend Miguel Campos and Rooter Solutions for your drain problems.

Having had limited success with Santa Barbara plumbers, I decided to go with Rooter Solutions first with installing a kitchen faucet and then cleaning out my sewer line clogged with roots. From the people who schedule the appointments to the actual workmen, everybody is very friendly and professional. What I'm really impressed with is the amount of equipment they have to do very professional work. In particular I recommend Martin who is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He really wants to make his customers happy. They show up on time and the work they do is reasonable. What more an you ask for

Thank you so much Donell & Matt for helping me at the gas station when i spilled my smoothie all over my car and gas station floor they were such gentleman and offered me gloves and a rag to help clean up. They must do a really good hiring job process at this place because they had amazing customer service skills and i'm not even a customer , i will for sure refer this place next time anyone i know needs a plumber !

Pleased with their work and the employees were great. We thought the price was a bit high so didn't give them 5 stars for that reason. We would use their services again.

Alex answered when I called and had great customer service and got me an appointment scheduled within minutes.

The next morning the plumbers came to snake our kitchen sink drain and after 15 min I was told they were going to need to call their boss to bring in a camera because the snake couldn't get past a certain point.

20 min later the boss shows up with the camera and had us look with him as the camera was run through the pipe. There was water in the pipe and damage which was a concern and we were told we would need to replace the main line.

We asked for a quote and the boss went back to his van and came back 5 min later with a note pad with random prices written on it. 3 prices were written that varied greatly (a credit card price, a cash/check price, and then a cash/check given today price).There was no break down of how those numbers were calculated. And again these numbers were just written down in permanent marker on a generic notepad.

Honestly the whole in person interaction with them seemed unprofessional. I also felt like they were trying to up sell us the whole time which made me feel on edge.

At the end of the day though they didn't charge us for any of the work they did. Felt relieved that we didn't actually get ripped off.

I had them come out about 6 months ago to snake a washing machine drain. The plumber told me I need the hydro-flush since my pipes were old and had a lot of build-up. I called last week and requested the hydro-flush. The plumber came out, I explained the situation, he went on my roof and next thing I know, there are three plumbers here. Not a good sign. They said the hydro-flushing from the roof isn't working and they actually don't even do that anymore because of liability. They put a camera in, said I had a broken pipe (tried to show me but it wasn't super clear to me?). Repair would be $3800. They then charged me $300 for the hydro-flush that didn't work. I asked if they would then snake my bathroom sink so I could get SOMETHING for my $300. He snaked my sink and not only totally clogged the slow drain in that sink but it all backed up into the other bathroom so now both sinks were backed up and unusable. When he asked me for a YELP review I showed him the backed up sink and he actually said ""wow, I have never seen that before"". My ex-husband is a construction plumber, he doesn't do drain cleaning, but he sent a drain plumber over to fix the sinks, $260. The same drain plumber snaked the original washing machine drain I called about, $65. Everything is working perfectly.
