Potential customers beware! Rooter Patrol had no Yelp review since July of 2019, why? They advertised on their website for $49 to snake a main drain from an accessible clean-out. This is 50% lower then other rooter service and there is a catch. Before making the appointment I talk to the manager Andre and he said for $49 they will run a snake 75-125 ft to ""clean"" the drain.

When their guy Jose came out he bought a snake that had no attachment head for cleaning coil or blade, just a bare snake. When I asked about using a cleaning attachment Jose said they do not use them as sometimes they will be caught in the drain and be hard to pull out. Jose claimed they do not have head attachments in the van and no way to attached anything to the bare snake. I called Andre and now he said he is just a dispatch and it is up to the tech to decide what to do.

I do not think running a bare snake is a professional or effective way of cleaning a main drain. Until now I have never had a rooter service that would come out and attempt to just run a bare snake to clear a drain. Needless to say I did not have the cheap job done as it would not have clear any drain obstruction. They wasted my time, their time and their travel cost. Btw, this place is not BBB accredited.

I. Rooter patrol plumbing because they have a special $49 to clear any Drain they went to do the job then later called me and told me that there is a broken pipe under the cement slab that is a rental units . They told me that the job would cost $2450.00 And that nobody in the three unit apartment would not be able to use the water. They said before they do the work since I was not there They would have to have me sign a consent form for them to do the work and a picture of my credit card before I gave them the consent I called a few plumbers and told me by three different plumbers that I was being overcharged that job should only be about $800.00. So I told him to stop the next day I went to Home Depot and I rented a Camera and put down the drain and there was no broken pipe. Either they are unexperienced plumbers or they're trying to rip people off. When I got to the apartment they already start breaking all the concrete up before I give them the consent no they did a lot of damage for no reason now it's going to cost me a lot more to fix all the repairs that they did that they damaged .And $150 that cost to rent a camera to put down that drain.The picture is the one they emailed me that I didn't see it till It was too late

These people sent a tech... 2 hours late. He didn't seem to know what he was doing. It was supposed to be a free estimate, but he wanted to charge $175 just to put a camera through the pipe to see why the water backs up from the sink to the tub. That fee doesn't include repairs. Not to mention, the inbilcul wanted to charge $900 to fix a toilet. What an insult to my intelligence. Not to nenrion, he broke a cap off if the water pipe running from the toilet to the wall. It was leaking water and he didn't even offer to fix it. I sent him to the door... without any if my money and no plumbing issues resolved. I'd give them a zero-star rating, but because the lowest rating I can give us one star, they get an undeserved one.

I called these guys after I realized my snake wouldn't go far enough. I am in the middle of rebuilding my deck and didn't have time to work on this anyway. My wife had ground up a bunch of carrots and broccoli and clogged one of our main lines about 40 feet from the clean out. When Ed arrived I had the clean out open, he brought in his snake and was gone in 15 minutes. Price was $49 as advertised. He did not try to upsell at all. I do usually do my own plumbing and knew exactly what and where the problem was.

Ricardo was just at our house and solved all of our (bathrooms, showers, washer) issues and for only $49! He found some rooots in the pipes and got them right out Really nice guy who even smelled great! Friendly and Professional #winWIN and we will only be calling him/Rooter Patrol from here on

Great company for fixing anything wrong with your plumbing! I called to make an appointment and customer service was excellent! Very nice and they fixed the problems the same day I called. If you need fixing with your plumbing this place is great! They are on time, reliable, service was great and worked in a great timely matter. I recommend this company to all my friends and family.

Called out for drain cleaning. Their technician, after 15 minutes, couldn't snake, because he couldn't get the cap off the clean out. In his frustration he insulted me, F bombed and left. I spoke with a supervisor, who promised prompt follow up with a different plumber. After three follow up calls in two days, I went with another company who had no problems and was completed within 30 minutes. I will definately not call these guys again.

DO NOT HIRE! We called with a clogged drain that was attached to a disposal. Jose cleared the drain in 10 minutes, charged us $125 and a 40 warranty . Within 48 hours sink was slow running and disposal was non functional and we were told it wasn't part of the service. They did, however, come by and in 5 minutes disposal temporarily worked. Within 24 hours sink was clogged and disposal not functioning. I called again, was told a time, I took a half day off to be here, and NO SHOW. When I called they apologized and said they'd come at the end of the day. They didn't. When my husband called they next day they declared the problem was the disposal and not covered. Terrible experience. A waste of time and money!

OK, so I do not usually write reviews BUT, given it was a Sunday and Memorial Day weekend, I felt I should. So, I had a back-up in the rear bathroom, snaking it didn't solve the issue. Turns out my ""OLD"" home has some very deteriorated cast iron pipes, with the camera we saw cracks, bugs all kinda stuff going on where nothing should be going on... so, a quick fix or repair it. As I am keeping my house, RP gave me a great deal, they are installing a new clean-out (2 one main and one for the rear bathroom which didn't have one) and replace all the cast iron waste lines
with plastic. I got credit for the first visit, plus a great deal on the whole job, they work efficiently, plan the work so that the family could get ready for work, etc.. when they left for the day everything was working, until they started again the next day... they fully explained all cost upfront, no surprises.

Website quotes $49 drain cleaning plus 10% discount for first customers. Plumber was here a total of 20mins from hello to goodbye and only had to remove the drain strain plate in the shower to get access. They charged me $159 but after I complained they haggled down with the 10% discount to $143. These guys are crooks, don't use them at all. I have learned my lesson to check around. He claimed it was because they had to remove the drain cover it was an extra $100. Are you kidding me? It takes 20 seconds. He actually worked less than 8mins.

I found another plumber that guarantees $49 to snake ANY DRAIN.

I will never use these guys again.

Only hope word gets around enough so they can't make a living off of scamming 1st time customers.
