Recommended Customer Reviews

We picked Rooter Nation because they were one of the least expensive to get our drain cleared with a cable. They showed up on time. They were clean and polite. The plumber put the cable in the drain and said it would only go in 15 feet and said I should get a camera run down the pipe to see what the issue was. I was charged for that visit.
Another guy came out the same day to put a camera in the line. This gentleman said I had some serious issues. He stated the pipe was either broken, or rusted out, because it came up with dirt on the end of the cable/camera. He claimed he that he ran the camera into an area under the foundation where the pipe had collapsed. He gave me a discount on the camera evaluation because I had already paid for the cabling the same day. Total bill so far 3 times the original advertised price. So Far $ 275 dollars.
They then wrote me an estimate to jack hammer, excavate and replace up to 8 feet of 2 inch cast iron pike in the basement $4500. DOLLARS!
I wanted a second opinion. So I asked my friends for a recommendation on a good plumber . I called the second plumber and my drain was cabled quickly. The problem is fixed and the drain has been working perfectly. I was only charged $110.00 to clear the clog. There is no collapse, and I do not need to dig up the floor, or foundation to repair any pipes.
Lesson learned, and passing my experience info on to others.
