These guys are a joke! Showed up.... couldn't find my septic tank or the line even after I explained to them on the phone that I didn't know where it was. They stated that they had equipment that could locate it..... the technician couldn't work the equipment and after four hours, charged me for the call. Then said they would send their """"experienced"""" crew the following day. Never showed back up..... I called only to find out that their truck broke down?? Funny though, my neighbor called them and got an appointment! Don't waste your time.

Rooterman charged a widow I work with $365 to come out and pump her septic tank. She still had problems, and a few weeks later, she discovered (with the help of another professional) that they had pumped only water, leaving most of her tank full. She had to pay another company $400 to do what Rooterman had promised and failed to do. She is having difficulty resolving the situation because the owner hangs up on her and others calling for her. She and her family and friends could not be more disappointed in this company.

Technician repaired a gas hot water heater and charged $270 which was paid with a credit card. On the way back to the office, the invoice was changed to $320 adding a $50 disposal fee for the old heater. Was never told that the invoice was changed even though I have a paid in full receipt stating $270. Company has yet to refund my $50. Beware of doing business with this company!!

While this outfit may be a """"national"""" enterprise, the folks locally out of Spartanburg are incredibly unprofessional. They come out to do a job, initially quote an amount to fix it and say it requires a greater additional amount. Rooter Man reportedly """"fixed"""" it, and the sewage line backs up again the next day! They now indicate there will be additional costs incurred and cannot come back to complete the job until one day later. The woman at dispatch suggests that it's """"okay"""" if we have to keep flushing our digestive remains outside on our front lawn until they're good and ready to come back to finish their job. The *Rooter Man* company is a fraud, very unprofessional, dishonest, take no responsibility for their actions, and outright steal costumers' money.

If I have to give a star it's only the one. This company is a joke ! They were called out due to a kitchen sink blockage. Once the technician got into my dad's home, he started complaining about having to work and not being pleasant at all. So he turned the water on in the kitchen to notice that the water was going down the drain fine. So my dad ask him if he would look at the drain plug in his bathroom, the technician touched it, turned it and proceeded to tell my dad that this is labor and charged my dad $195.00 for that touch and turn. $195.00 dollars !!! Unbelievable !! The office was called and a lady was spoken to, and she therefore said that the service fee was $130.00 if no work was performed. Well if this guy charged $195.00 for his service of doing nothing where did the additional $65.00 come from. I worked for a plumbing company and I know the service fee is either waived or it's deducted from the total. This company owes my dad $130.00 or the $65.00. Never will this company be called again.

After taking time off of work to be home for the tech to have access to the house they never showed up don't go with this company you will wast time and money

Bad experience with this companyin Spartanburg county. Claimed that have equipment to find underground leak, claimed that found a leak and charged $500. It turned out it was not the place not even close. Wanted to charge 1100 again just to determine where the leak is. Would not recommend them to anyone.
