Scammers!! Tried to pull the descale trick on abs pipes over just a year service request

Beware of this company! I asked them to come out and clear a clogged drain. They told me that the price would be $125 or if they needed to remove the toilet it would be $375. The technician, Hugo Navarro was not able to clear the clog without removing the toilet. Once he remove the toilet, Hugo told me that the clog could was cleared but the problem was going to come back. He called in Marcos who was a specialist. They told me that they would to run a camera down the drain to try to identify the problem. Marcos ran the camera down the drain pipe until it hit water. He insisted that there was corrosion buildup on the galvanized pipes that needed to be descaled. The other option would be to replace the galvanized pipes. My house is only 21 years old and I thought this was odd. That same day, the pipes continued to back up. I called them to come and fix the problem and they said if they needed to come back, they would charge me $375 again to remove the toilet. I spoke with Hugo direct who reminded me that the galvanized pipes had corroded and needed to be descaled or replaced. I asked him for an estimate several times and they would never send it to me. I finally received a phone call from Hugo with the verbal estimate confirming $9875 for the decaling or $12,800 to have the galvanized pipes replaced. In an effort to get a second opinion, I reached out to another plumber. They came out took the toilet off cleared the drain and my toilet works fine. I asked them if the pipes need to be descaled. They started laughing because they said the pipes in my house are all plastic not galvanized steel as stated by this company. This is terrible business practice! Trying to take advantage of people that don't understand.

These guys! Called them on a Saturday morning. The young lady was very professional and handling business. She got me right on the schedule. I received a confirmation text with a picture of the technician coming out. A super fair
Price! And they showed up and right away introduced themselves. Super nice guys. Very chatty about how to help the current problem and solutions if the problem worsens. They stick to their price. Got the line cleared. Did an awesome job and got my household back on track. Absolutely would recommend for clean outs and line services.

my drain for my pool house unit backed up and I called rooter man plumbing to come out. they told me the pipe was blocked and they needed to hydro jet the pipe to clear it. fortunately I new this wasn't possible as I had replaced 30feet of new drain line last year and declined their scam. I called another plumber who charged me $75 to remove baby wipes from the line. DONT TRUST ROOTER MAN PLUMBING !!!

I had amazing service!!! I called and within an hour or two a technician was at my house. Jacob went above and beyond when he came out on Christmas Eve. He made sure that before he left he was certain our problem had been resolved. His customer service was exceptional. He explained things throughly so we knew exactly what was going on and what he would be handling. Jacob was the best again for saving us on Christmas Eve.

Santos was more knowledgeable than previous plumbers and provided helpful information, suggesting of pipe repairs under the driveway are needed, it can be done for $2,350 and not the $4k+ Most Valuable Plumber MVP suggested.

Call them to unclog main line, the next day the problem wasn't fix. Called them back they said they have to charge me again!!!!!
Where is the guarantee?!!!!!

I am really surprise that this company has such good reviews and I wish I could be the person to add another good review, however I had a really bad experience with Rooter Man and feel the need to explain why. The day before Thanksgiving we had a sewage back up and a nice man named Jacob came out and hydro-jetted the pipe and got the clog out. Unfortunately, the clog came back at the weekend. The plan was to use a stronger hydro-jet machine and then send a camera down again to see where and what the problem was and maybe get the root pushed through. The 2nd hydro-jet performance was never done. I asked them to come and get me before they did it so I could watch, which they never did. They just came and got me telling me that it didn't work, so they went on to show me on the camera that the root that was blocking the pipe. The lead technician George went on to tell me that the pipe had been already compromised and the only way to fix this was to send a 44 foot sleeve through to fix it. This would cost me $10,600. and mind you I have already paid them almost $3000 just to go down and look which was also supposed to include the hydro-jetting (which was never done). I was honestly shocked. I am a new widow and can barely keep this house and to now come up with this amount of money was honestly not doable. I decided to get a couple of other quotes before trying to figure it out. I called a local guy who is amazing and DID hydro-jet for like an hour and eventually, he got the root out and also found that the pipes are fine. There is no broken pipe! Charged me a fraction of what Rooter Man charged me for digging a hole and looking into my pipe with a camera! I highly suggest you go with someone local to your neighborhood, that cares about the people he is taking care of. It's not easy finding people you can trust and this is why! I called to complain and was supposed to get a call back and haven't as of yet.
