The year 1970 saw the inception of Rooter-Man, thanks to CEO Donald MacDonald in North Billerica, Massachusetts. Through dedication, integrity, and a commitment to resolving plumbing and drain issues, Rooter-Man evolved into one of the largest plumbing, sewer, and drain cleaning firms in the Northeastern United States. In 1981, Rooter-Man began offering franchises, choosing only top-tier professionals in the plumbing, sewer, and drain cleaning fields to represent the Rooter-Man brand and adhere to its service standards. As a result of outstanding growth, Rooter-Man has developed a network exceeding 480 locations in the United States and Canada. Rooter-Man has been honored as the leading franchise opportunity in the Plumbing, Sewer, and Drain Cleaning category by Entrepreneur Magazine for a decade (2003-2012). All Rooter-Man locations are locally owned and function independently. In 2003, my wife and I seized the chance to acquire an existing Rooter-Man franchise. We invested our remaining savings and brought along our three young girls. Brenda felt anxious, but I remained assured, drawing from my extensive experience in sewer and drain cleaning. We expanded gradually, growing our territory and team, creating a family-like atmosphere we cherish. Through our dedication, our daughters, and learning from experiences, we persist in our growth. Over the years, we have benefited from the insights and experiences of fellow franchise owners; it has been fulfilling to be part of such a supportive community. We are thankful for the opportunity to serve the public and expand our business as we raise our children.
