Had to call Roto-Rooter 3 days later to solve the problem.

Cody is only trying to upsell you on an expensive line piping services that cost between $6,500 and $11,000 depending on how much plastic is put in the pipe.

My other choice was to pay $784 to have them de-root with a camera inspection after the initial cost of the snaking. Most likely he does not de-root because he is trying to sell you the high priced line piping service.

Roto-rooter charged $514 when it backed up 3 days later and de-rooting is standard practice. I could actually HEAR the machine de-rooting the pipe- unlike when Cody came. He only uses that machine if you are willing to fork over more money to him.

I told this company that I would take down this review when they reimbursed me the money they charged that day, but so far I have not see a dime.

Stay away from Cody and this company. Unethical and incompetent!

Rooter Man in Billerica, MA has been my trusted plumbing and sewer cleaning source for years. They have saved me from financial disaster on more than one occasion, most recently in January when my septic system backed up. They arrived and solved the problem quickly as always. Highly recommend them.

This review is for Thomas Regan of Rooter Man in Billerica, MA. Tom was fantastic. He came to our house to fix a toilet clog during the Covid-19 situation. He then correctly identified that the issue was that the toilet itself had faulty welding, so unknown to us, we'd had this problem since we moved into our house. We then ordered a new toilet for him to install, received it from a shipper, and when he came to install it, it was damaged during shipping. We then got a new toilet from Home Depot right after Tom left, and he came back later the same day and did the install. He was nice, professional, and caring. Bonus points for having us in his systems and knowing he'd been to our house 3 years earlier for other plumbing issues we'd had. I am grateful to Tom for helping us during a challenging time. He was outstanding.

Not happy with this company. Don't give a time when they will be there just morning or afternoon. Can't plan around that. Also need to hire more professional people those that came to my house were not at all.

I wish zero stars what an option!!!!! I am horrified with the terrible service. We had a 4-8 window for service selected specifically because we have small children, the woman when booking assured me they would do there best to get them out ASAP. At 7:34 I received a call he was on his way. At 8:30 after the window I got home and hadn't come yet at this point my children are in bed and this is unacceptable. I called the woman she was super rude and offered nothing but canceling the tech that was ""in route"" I have used them before and never will EVER AGAIN!!!!

If I could give them 10 stars I would! This place is the best! My tub had been slowing clogging and this morning totally plugged up. I called Rooter-Man and they gave me a 9-10a.m. appointment. Tom showed up on the dot of 9 and from the minute we spoke I felt so comfortable with him. He went to work and within 45 mins. my drain was working. He gave me several pointers along the way and explained everything he was doing. He also cleaned up the entire area. I can only say that if you need a plumber, this is the place to call. I found them in the Yellow pages and as their ad states, their rates are reasonable. He even took $20 off! He also gave me some advice for my basement faucet. I can't say enough good things about Tom except you'll love him! Don't bother going with anyone else! He's on my plumber speed dial!

I had water in the basement sink back up and couldn't use the kitchen sink, dishwasher or washer. I actually called RotoRooter who promised me an 8-10 am arrival today. After calling them several times after 10 and asked for an ETA (...never got one...as they can't connect with the tech and don't know who they will dispatch next), I finally gave up at 1 pm and called Rooter-Man off of a Google search. I was answered by Denise who sent Tom who arrived within 30 minutes from my phone call. Tom immediately knew what to do, got the snake working and within 20 minutes I was writing a check after Tom did a full water pressure test with me and gave me recommendations on how to avoid this situation in the future. I should point out that Rotorooter does not quote you the job prior to arrival and Rooter-Man did. I should have called them first, and will - next time. I strongly recommend them.

My mom mistakenly called Rooter Man and wanted to call Roto Rooter. When the service man arrived she asked are you Roto Rooter? Service Man said ""yes"" charges her $75 just to look and see what the problem was. She soon remembered that Roto Rooter doesn't charge to come out. He told her it was new and they now charge. Very unprofessional- sad how this service man portrayed to be another company AND took her money. Needless to say, he didn't fix anything because when she heard the price she quickly changed her mind.

So its two days before Christmas, a Saturday, middle of an epic ice storm, and I need a plumber ASAP. Recipe for a very expensive disaster. Mike F. arrived in an hour, found parking in our congested urban neighborhood, came in and solved the problem to my complete satisfaction. It was quick, clean and thoroughly professional. I feel lucky to have had ths service. It wasnt cheap--$259-but it was worth it.
