I am very disappointed; They came to fix a clogged drain. The price to fix it $7,000.oo; Their plan was to brake the cement in my garage, make a hole on the floor and replace the piece of pipe. I paid them $500.oo for using a camera and hydrojet I refuse the rest of the job. The clogged drain remained the same.
I called another company for a second opinion; their price: $1,700.oo, not need to brake any cement or replace any pipe. After they finished I saw through the camera the super clean pipe functioning like new.
Rooter-man people didn't know how to do the job or they jus wanted to get a lot of money.

First, I am a landscape contractor. My family's home was destroyed in the Eaton Fire and we were fortunate enough to be offered a place to stay in La Canada. Soon after we moved, there was a leak in the water line from the street and our host had Rooter-Man (Mira) do the work. The laborer who did the work dug a 12 to 16"" deep x 6' long trench, installed 3/4"" schedule 40 pvc pipe and a new brass pressure regulator. This one laborer spent a day and a half to do the work and our host was charged $14,500!! It equated to $1,200 per hour! We were shocked when we found out. Since then, any attempt to talk with Mira has been met with a surely and belligerent attitude. We filed a complaint with the Contractor's State License Board and with a price gouging hotline due to contractors taking advantage of the Eaton Fire. (Mira claimed the leak was caused by the fire). After the CSLB contacted him he offered our host a refund of $3,500. We're currently getting advice from the Better Business Bureau, Plumbing Supply houses, and reputable plumbers on how to proceed. My main concern is that he stops taking advantage of the elderly.

Stay away! They used light weight, weak snake so it couldnt clear. Then they say they need to come back to perforrm $750 hydro-jet to clear line. I denied the service and had a local plumber check it and cleared it in 15 minute with a bigger snake.

Don't use this place !! Wanted to cut a hole in my wall and got water all over floor and sockets could have started an electrical fire !!! Never finished the job Don't Call This Lame Operation !!

Avoid this company at all costs... and it will cost you. They hook you with the $49 snake deal but it can lead up to thousands more that was unverified by 2 other companies. I was threatened if I canceled the contract and I was truly scared. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions but hopefully reading this sends you to another company.

Our sewage line backed up. 49$ special to have Rooter Man come out and snake the drain. They refused to snake the drain and went straight to hydro blasting 750$ which did not work. Then they put a video camera and showed us the supposed clog which was hard to see on their ancient machine. They said it would be 2000$ to cut the piece of 4ft pipe where the clog was and no guarantee there were no other clogs down the line to the street. They also broke our access point cap and wall and did not replace the cap and just left. Got a new plumber and he snaked the sewer line and the sewer line is running like new. Please Never use Rooter Man, they are a scam!!!

I contacted Rooter-Man to address a clogged sink. They dispatched a technician named Raphael to our house. He asserted that our pipes urgently required replacement but proposed a jet cleanout as a temporary fix for $1200. I declined as we have home warranty coverage. The following day, the home warranty service examined and camera-tested the pipes, finding no significant issues, only requiring sink drainage. The technician resolved the problem in just 30 minutes.

Beware of this company; they appear to be engaging in deceptive practices.

They were offering a $49 drain cleaning special, which is what I needed. Prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable.

My main 4"" drain was plugged, I have a long run, with 3 clean outs every 75', this happens at least once a year. They came out to snake the drain, as soon as they hit the clog, he pulled back the snake. I told him to run the snake further past the clog and then pull it back otherwise you will not resolve the issues. He just kept trying to push the hydro cleaning for $1,175.00. I told him I didn't want it, he refused to go past the clog and told me not to tell him how to do his job. I had reported on their survey that this was not going to resolve the issue that day. Sure enough 4 days later it was clogged again in the same spot. I called them to come back under warranty to do make sure to go past the clog, they stated they would not come back out due to it may damage my pipes, they would only due hydro for $1,175.00. I told them I wanted a refund, unfortunately I paid them cash and they refused, so I didn't get my money back. They just try to pressure you into the hydro cleaning and not do the cheaper way out. I ending up calling another company out and they ran a snake past the clog and there haven't been any issues now for over a week. Let's hope it lasts.

I had contacted them to service an issue at my rental property. First they canceled via email and didn't tell me via phone. Then they went out there. They sent me a work order/estimate via email. Then another email asked me to rate the technician that went out there, Boris S., as if he had completed the work.

This was very confusing because no one called me from the company to diagnose what the issue was the issue. I was unsure whether any work was done.

My Tenant contacted me to ask if the work was done later that evening. I called the company to ask and I got a complete runaround from them. And they said they would either call me back or they would have the technician call me back.

Now I'm dealing with an upset Tenant, who has a kitchen sink clog, and an issue that hasn't been resolved, even though I would have paid for it to have been resolved if they had contacted me properly. I don't understand this. Does this company not want any business?

Do not use this company. They have poor communication and are very unprofessional.

After reading, they might be scamming, I think I definitely dodged a bullet.
