Gary, John and Julio, and all of the other people who worked on our home were honest, straight talking and fair with us every step of the way. They answered all of my questions and were evidence-based in all of their communications with me. No one wants to have to incur the expense of relining an nearly 100 year old sewer pipe located 9 feet underground, but the people at Rooter Man did everything they could to make it as painless as possible. I give them all my highest recommendation and I will call them again, if needed, without any hesitation.

Thank you all very much.

People came out to my rental to fix a leaky hose to my dishwasher. They looked at it... said it was fine. Few days later it was leaking again and claiming work was not authorized by me, but all they had to do is call me. I spoke to the tech, which came to my house and wanted 3,200 to replace a dishwasher hose and garbage disposal. I had to pay for the parts which was 350, but I cancelled after feeling that was way too much. Beware, use a local plumber, these people are out to make a buck, not help you.

I should have read some of these low-rating reviews before I hired this company. I was in a hurry and learned the hard way. I agree with all the low-star reviews on this site. A simple $49.00 unclogging job turned into over $2300 in unnecessary repairs. Very dishonest and deceptive business practice. Be aware!

These people are dishonest and want to take you for a ride. I called them at 4PM on a Friday and they showed up at 7PM after saying they would show up within the hour. He took my toilet apart then said it was too late and would have to comeback in the morning. They left the drain open and it smelled all night, left the toilet dismateled in the restroom. ( Who does that ) Anyway they came back the next day with a camera system, they ran the camera thru the pipes and said I have a broken pipe. I told them okay let me get a copy of the video or see the broken pipe. He told me he couldn't do that and it was against policy. I told them just to snake the clog and he insisted that it was a broken pipe. The told me it was going to be $9,000 to brake up the concrete and tile and he would repair the broken pipe but would need to hire a contractor to do the concrete and tile work again.
!!! Beware !! Thieves !!!

They charged me $350 to find the fake broken pipe with the camera and didn't do anything to unclog the main line. Waste of money. Don't call they fake plummbers they just care about making you spend money on unnecessary work.

I called another Plumbing company they came out and within 1 hour they unclogged the main line, unclogged a bath tub and opened a washout we had on the side of the house. All for $125

!!! Beware !! Thieves !!!

Oh, how we wish we had looked at the rating and reviews on Yelp before we hired RooterMan and discovered their tactics.
.We had two drains that were draining slowly, one in the kitchen sink and the other - the toilet, which worked fine the day before. We saw the RooterMan ad stating that they would clean drains for $49, so we called them. They came out and the first thing they said was that they had to use a camera on the toilet. They then said we had a cracked pipe under the toilet. They determined that it was a big job that would take three days and that if we didn't get it fixed it would only get worse. It sounded bad and urgent. They arrived the next day at nine a.m., jack-hammered through the cement slab under the toilet and dug a couple of feet down to so fix the pipe. By five p.m. they said the job was finished except that they had to wait until the next day for the cement to dry around the toilet The job went from a three days to one day and cost us $9200, or nearly $900 an hour for their work. The cost didn't go down when it only took one day.
We are older. I am 91 and my wife is 86. We feel they took advantage of us with their exorbitant price. It was our own fault that we fell for their $49 pitch and about it being such a huge and urgent job that would only get worse if we didn't have it fixed.
We looked at Yelp and discovered that this same procedure had happened to others using Rooterman. Beware of this company.

I had a plumbing clog and called Rooter Man. The technician suggested ""jetting"" the line indicating it would be the most cost effective. He attempted jetting from several directions, resulting in 2 hours of me using my shop vac to clean up raw sewage in my bathroom. The problem was not resolved and the bill was $450. A second plumbing agency came out, resolved the problem and fixed an outside spigot for less than $400

Some years ago, they did a switcheroo on the price. One price listed, another price for the actual work. This happens with a lot of companies.

I left a review stating that fact. I don't know if that review is still posted or not, but they contacted me and threated me. Said I'd posted a fake review and that they'd recorded our conversation. Recording a conversation without letting the person know is illegal!!! However, I'm not worried about that.

So... here you go... probably shouldn't email people and threaten them. It's unprofessional. Wish you luck in your evolution as a human.

Rory Harms just left my home. He repaired the upstairs shower drain that was leaking into the boiler room solar area on third floor. He knew right away what was wrong and fixed it quickly. Will definitely call on them again should I need them in the future

Rory Harms came out to my house to unclog my drains.
He did an excellent job. Made sure everything stayed clean, and was very thorough, as well as being super productive.
I will hire him again!

Val Hasandjekaj from Rooterman did work at 288 Broadway in Hillsdale , NJ on Sun. 6/12/22. There is an empty office on the first floor and two occupied apartments on the 2nd floor. He was hired to do work on first floor. Without warning he turned water off to entire house on a Sun. sometime after 4 and proceeded to cut pipes out. No pipes had burst, there was no emergency situation. They even turned the water off to a separate occupied residence on the property for more than 2 hours by mistake. At 6pm I was informed he would have to enter my apt. and remove my toilet to replace a pipe. Daid it would take 1hour. removed it at 8:40pm and didn't leave my apartment until 11:05. He cut the water line to my sink from the floor below by mistake. He left water in my sink cabinet, damaged the contents and tracked wet grout on his shoes throughout my bedroom and entry way. He did not rebolt the toilet to the floor, cut the bolts or replace the caps. He did not silicone the toilet to the floor but instead smeared grout to look like a bead of silicone. Another plumber just left after 3 hours after having to remove and completely reinstall toilet correctly. Terrible plumber. Terrible experience. It was a nightmare. He and his partner caused a lot of damage.
