We had a clogged toilet, Gary came by the house he told us it would cost $225 if he tired to snake the toilet, but if he had to remove the toilet it would cost $425 to fix. Well he had to remove the toilet, than informed us that it was the pipes that in his words ""would cost a few thousand to repair. We paid him $425 and a few hours later the toilet was clogged again. We called and ask for another person to come out and fix this issues however they sent Gary again unplugged the toilet. It's still did not flush correctly and told us the problem could not be fixed until we pay thousands of dollars to get the piping fixed.

Well, I'm the owner of the home and I know that we already had the toilet repaired two years ago so I know there was nothing wrong with the pipes. It's just that someone dropped a piece of the bidet in the toilet. And I was not going to pay thousands of dollars. Gary left did not give us a receipt and as of today we still have not heard back from the supervisor. No Gary regarding a refund. I called A-1 Plumbing . They did a fantastic job. It cost me. $175 and he removed the piece that was in the toilet and everything is working.

I found Rooter Man LA worker to be dishonest unqualified And unprofessional. They're looking for a way to rip off the consumers. They didn't think that we knew it was actually happening in our toilet and that we don't keep copies records of the repairs that we've done a year ago. They pray on innocent people. This has been my experience with this company, rooter man. I could not and would not recommend this company. However, I would recommend A-1 Plumbing .

I had the most horrible experience with Sam one of their supervisors. He recommended Hydro jetting and charged us $1275 only for us to find out a day later that the problem still existed. I called the company to provide feedback and ask for refund abs provided a written complaint to receive no call back.

This company tried to overcharge me by several thousand dollars. Called them over for a stoppage of my sewer, came and said around $150. then said they couldnt clear the blockage and had to call a manager to assist. First red flag. The manager came and ran a camera inside the line and said the pipe is broken, which was hard to belive at first because they only tried the snake for about 20 minutes max, and the SALES MANAGER DIDNT EVEN TRY TO SNAKE THE LINE HIMSELF. Once the manager said that he said it was going to be aboUt $7,500 to change approximately 30 ft of clay pipe. I felt hesitant and asked for a second opinion. Miraculously their price dropped to $6k after i said that, then the technician offered to do it on the side for $4k. This is when i told them to leave. I called another company out, they cleared the blockage in 10 minutes and showed me the camera with no water in the line. No breaks, no roots, nothing was found other than a tiny little root that was no bigger than 1/2 a dime!! Save your money, these guys are liars and thieves. Seems to be the same story with many other reviewers.

Gary, John and Julio, and all of the other people who worked on our home were honest, straight talking and fair with us every step of the way. They answered all of my questions and were evidence-based in all of their communications with me. No one wants to have to incur the expense of relining an nearly 100 year old sewer pipe located 9 feet underground, but the people at Rooter Man did everything they could to make it as painless as possible. I give them all my highest recommendation and I will call them again, if needed, without any hesitation.

People came out to my rental to fix a leaky hose to my dishwasher. They looked at it... said it was fine. Few days later it was leaking again and claiming work was not authorized by me, but all they had to do is call me. I spoke to the tech, which came to my house and wanted 3,200 to replace a dishwasher hose and garbage disposal. I had to pay for the parts which was 350, but I cancelled after feeling that was way too much. Beware, use a local plumber, these people are out to make a buck, not help you.

I should have read some of these low-rating reviews before I hired this company. I was in a hurry and learned the hard way. I agree with all the low-star reviews on this site. A simple $49.00 unclogging job turned into over $2300 in unnecessary repairs. Very dishonest and deceptive business practice. Be aware!

These people are dishonest and want to take you for a ride. I called them at 4PM on a Friday and they showed up at 7PM after saying they would show up within the hour. He took my toilet apart then said it was too late and would have to comeback in the morning. They left the drain open and it smelled all night, left the toilet dismateled in the restroom. ( Who does that ) Anyway they came back the next day with a camera system, they ran the camera thru the pipes and said I have a broken pipe. I told them okay let me get a copy of the video or see the broken pipe. He told me he couldn't do that and it was against policy. I told them just to snake the clog and he insisted that it was a broken pipe. The told me it was going to be $9,000 to brake up the concrete and tile and he would repair the broken pipe but would need to hire a contractor to do the concrete and tile work again.

They charged me $350 to find the fake broken pipe with the camera and didn't do anything to unclog the main line. Waste of money. Don't call they fake plummbers they just care about making you spend money on unnecessary work.

I called another Plumbing company they came out and within 1 hour they unclogged the main line, unclogged a bath tub and opened a washout we had on the side of the house. All for $125
