Rooter Hero Plumbing contacted me quickly after my request and scheduled an appointment same day between 3-5 PM. Their associate, Blas G, called me and specified at what time he can reach our home and was on time. He inspected the problem, explained the issue and cost of different solutions. After our decision, he got to work and fixed it swiftly and easily. All in all its a good experince from start to end.

I called Rooter Hero last year when both the master and main toilets seemed to flush slower than I expected. They were running their $77 drain special and that seemed reasonable. A tech came out and attempted to auger one toilet but didnt seem to improve the flush. He then said he would need to remove the toilet and the cost would be $200. I said OK and he removed the toilet only to find roots appearing from the drain. He said he needed to get a camera to check the line and called in what I'll call the ""the closer"". The closer arrived, sent the camera down the line and said there was a break in the line. He said it may require removal of some of my bathroom marble walls or flooring but hopefully would not have to. The cost? $13,000.
I was shocked. For reasons I still cant understand, I agreed. That decision haunts me still.
They ended up cutting a 2 foot by 2 foot section of concrete walkway outside the house near the bathroom, digging out about 2 feet of dirt to get to the repair site, and (theoretically) fixing the pipe, filling back the dirt and re-concreting what they had cut. The total time spent I would guess was about 10 hours. Not bad $1300 per hour!
They spent no time on the other toilet but I figured since the two toilets probably shared the same drain line, if the roots were hindering one toilet, the other might be affected.
I was at least smart enough to ask for a warrantee on the work and got a 15 year guarantee on both toilets.
If you think this was just a expensive but freak misfortune, about 45 days later, the other toilet still seemed to be flushing slowly. I called them back, the technician tried to auger the second toilet, ended up removing the toilet and again called in ""the closer"" to inspect the situation when roots appeared out of the toilet flange.
The ""closer"" said it would be $3,250 to replace the flange and I became irate.
I told them I had just spent a fortune fixing the toilet and wasnt about to spend more on this job. The ""closer"" paused for a moment and then said they could do it for $2,750. No way I said. The ""closer"" left and then the technician said: ""well I think I can probably help you out by lowering the price to $1,200."" At this point I agreed because my option was to have the work done by him or another plumber and my intent was to protest the charge because the work should have been covered by the warrantee. I did protest the charge and it was reversed. My internet research shows a flange replacement should cost about $600. Some bargain. BEWARE

Sooooo unreliable. Had an appointment set for a drain clearing , got a call saying the tech would be late. Then immediately got a text saying the tech was en route. Called dispatch, they told me the tech was en route from about 4 miles away but when I spoke with the tech directly he said he was coming from 20 miles away (big difference in LA!). When Tech arrived, he called the wrong number so was waiting outside needlessly...I only find out when I called the dispatcher to find out why 2 hours later I still didn't have a knock at my door. And, to top it off, he couldn't get the grate off of the drain to unclog it! The tech said the screws were stripped and he needed to cut a hole in it to fit the snake in, but didn't have the equipment for it. Well, the screws were NOT stripped, I was able to remove them myself with the proper size Allen key (with less than 3 minutes' effort) after deciding to try myself. So...then I rescheduled for the tech to come back out the next business day, only for him to bail on me at the last minute! Absolute disaster of an experience . And my drain is still clogged! Needless to say I am going with another company and never calling this place again. They're a hot mess. Run in the other direction, folks!

I was initially impressed with how pleasant the people were in scheduling an appointment. The plumber was also very efficient and explained the project and gave me an estimate which I thought was a bit high but I agreed to. We scheduled a time for the plumber to come. I was at another appointment when the plumber called and he left a message to call the office. When I called I was told that the Dispatch person rescheduled the appointment to a different day and time without consulting me. I understand that the policy is if you don't answer that call your case gets pushed back. I canceled the job sine I was not available at the time they decided to give me.

A debacle! Friday evening, made an appt. for drain cleaning for the next day. I was told the plumber would arrive between noon and 2pm. At noon I was told that the appt.was . cancelled due to their being ""two weeks behind."" It seems they schedule appointments without checking their staffing levels. The last minute cancellation really created a big problem for our tenant, an elderly woman who could not use her bathroom. We had to scramble around to find another plumber, not an easy task on a Saturday.

Jamie came out today to help us with a sink that wouldn't drain. He was fast and very helpful! He arrived on time and did exactly what I needed. He was nice and I felt comfortable with him in our home. I would definitely recommend. Thank you!

I honestly don't know where to begin. My plumbing went out and long story short, was desperate to get someone out to fix it. I sent out a request through Yelp asking for quotes. Hero responded immediately and came out within a couple of hours. The service Tech Leo, was so polite and a pleasure to work with and did a great job of explaining everything he needed to do in the first visit.

He needed to come back the next day to scope the pipes and committed to be back in the morning and kept that commitment. They came and scoped the pipes. He brought his manager Isreal with him who is also as polite and a pleasure to work with. It turned out that we had some major issues that were extensive and costly but Leo and Isreal worked it out so that we could have working toilets while the spent the better part of two days fixing the problem.

On top of all of the wonderful experiences, the company will text you when your service tech is on the way in addition to emailing you.

I will be considering Rooter Hero Plumbing my go to plumbing company although they did such a good job I may never need them again!

I had a terrible experience,and urge caution to anyone considering Rooter Hero.
They did send a technician,extremely quick,but that's as good as it gets.
Had a backed up shower drain,and the technician could not clear it,with a snake,via the tub overflow/waste. Decided to try the clean out,on the outside of the house. Clean out was packed with 70 years of gunk,and Technician said he wouldn't touch it,and told me I needed to Hydrojet it,to clear it. Paid $475 to hydro jet the line. It worked,but shortly after,we discovered a leak ""somewhere in the drain system"". It was getting late,so technician said he would be back the following day,with his Supervisor to inspect the line,with a camera.

Showed up 3 days later,but I had already determined where the leak was coming from. The drain at the bottom of the tub,had a hole in it,caused by the technician's poor attempt at snaking the drain.
I went ahead and let them run the camera,in the drain line. Within seconds,they told me that the line was full of roots,and said that it needed to be replaced. I guess,the $475 I paid them for the Hydrojetting,wasn't enough.The drain line is above ground,so how could it be full of roots?
They never offered to repair the piece that was damaged by their equipment,and said that it would cost $1500,to replace the part.
I declined the repair,and sent them on their way.

I had the tub drain repaired by a different Plumbing company,a couple of days later,that confirmed that there were no roots in the line.

So much for a $77 drain cleaning!
This was a terrible experience,that could have been avoided,had I taken the time to sift through the reviews. Lesson learned!
