My technician today was Jeremy he did indeed save the day! He was on time and very respectful. He even made sure to put shoe covers on before stepping into my house! I also appreciate the time he took to explain the condition of my plumbing. I've had plumbers come out on multiple occasions this has been the best experience yet. Thank you Jeremy. I will definitely be using rooter hero in the future.

If only I would have seen this review and website before I called last night! It's almost funny how my situation fits most of the horribly bad reviews! My service guy (Alonzo) came across as a genuinely nice guy, but for me a retired police detective I read people quite well. I made sure I pointed out that I had been a rooter/plumber many many years ago. I know my way around his machine. When he arrived I already had the toilet off, as I had tried to snake it with my 25' cable and it just wasn't long enough. I had all ready diagnosed that it was my main line because everything was backing up to the lowest toilet. (I'm not even sure why I didn't;t just go to Home Depot at first to get a longer snake)!!

He started snaking the drain and I watched. Doing most of the work by hand and not turning the machine on much to break thur anything. Then he started asking me about the house if it had clay pipes?? NOPE!! that tactic won't work! All new pipe here all the way to the main 6 years ago. Then says I'm gonna take care of you! He goes under the house briefly...basically wasting my time. Then comes back in an uses his machine again but again not really pushing hard or using the power which its made to open the blockage.

At this point I just go watch Monday Night Football because I can tell he's bull shyting! He then tells me their is a blockage that he can't get thur and they need to bring the cameras out? Me shaking my head like what a waste of my time and money. I don't think he even went out the 25' that I did. But when he was pulling the snake back he wanted me to see how far it was out with a little slide his hand technic!! Again I just shook my head.

He said I can't fix this and I know you guys need to shower and use the bathroom but there is a blockage I can't get thur. he says, ""We can get the cameras out and I sure my boss won't charge you for it!"" ""No he's only going to charge me the $4000 for the blockage that he finds!"" I said it ok we will figure it out!

It was 9:30, I rushed over to Home Depot and rented their (half the size of his snake) 50' snake. I rolled it in and set it up. I go down the drain pretty slow with no hard pushing of effort and cleared the drain in less than two minutes. I never felt this big blockage that Alonzo had problem with! Sheese!

Here are my biggest problems, I'm a good read on people, but what about all the people who are not and the elderly that have to get taken by this companies tactics! I'll be contacted the BBB and my bank to stop the payment ($77). How about you just do what you say, an clear out drains that just need top be snaked??? Lame Fuks!!

this week i slipped and fell in my friend's shower, knocking the faucet part off. i was worried about how crazy the price could have been and how long it would take, but this business was so fast and helpful for me. the price and the time was so quick and reliable.

thank you so much to the technician that was sent to me, i wish i had cash on me or anything to tip but i really appreciate the incredible effort done to help me out.

Our toilet backed up in the middle of the night, due to rooter hero's fast and efficient service there tech came out and and got our toilets flowing, after a thorough camera inspection we discovered major root damage and were given different repair options to solve the problem

Our plumber was Chris he is an excellent worker. He prepared his workspace and explained his work before starting. He gave updates on his progress and also made suggestions for future work needed.

A minority Female own local nail shop in Pasadena had water flood from floor sink, trying to fix and remedy the situation immediately and got hold of a technician from rooter hero. It's sad I have to give 1 star out of 5 as a business owner, how upset I am can not describe 1000's of their 1 star review and I feel obligated to share my recent experience with rooter hero with yelp community, and hoping that I am the last victim to go thought this, and should never let this happen to any desperate small business owner nor to any female who doesn't have plumbing knowledge.

A technician who came out first suggested that I run water leak detection and that I should also have a restoration company to come out so that they can start cleaning up the place so the business that has been destroyed from the water ( the whole vinyl floor was wet and needed to be ripped off, dried ) can start operate soon.

One of the restoration company I called and found from yelp was able to come out pretty quick but the technician from rooter hero refused to work with them and explained to me that he has a protocol and he has a specific restoration company that he is only comfortable working with.( later I found out that the plumber gets very high Referal fee)

While waiting for the crews from restoration company come out, he said the water detection will cost $950 and he suggested that I run hydrojet for all faucets (I had 6 faucets for pedicure bowl) which will cost me additional $1600 to clean up the pipe.

I was desperate and fix the immediate situation with water, I agreed to sign and he quickly handed me his IPad with no explanation rather than that is for agreeing with service fee, nothing was left for me to read or explained, and I signed. At first I refused to do hydrojet, and He told me that he can provide me a discount and asked me how much I was willing to pay for the hydrojet service. I explained to him that my recent hydrojet service I received for other location costed me $120 and agreed to pay $350 to run hydrojet.

The whole cleanup was moving forward with the restoration company and the plumber from rooter hero came back and was trying to clean up the pipe. The plumber came back to me and asked me that I might have an issue with my drain pipe under concrete, he doesn't know where the blockage is coming from and that his jet wouldn't pass certain point. He suggests me to run an inspection camera to find out where the source of water flood.

I asked him what the cost will be, and he said it will be $5800 for jackhammering the concrete and that the cost doesn't include fixing the pipe. I was shocked to hear how expensive it was,and he started explaining to me that it will not be part of my expense but the insurance company or the landlord should cover it because none of it was my fault. I was very desperate, felt like my time and effort had been vested, desperately wanting to restore, remedy situation as fast as I can. He elaborately explained to me that insurance or the property manager must cover this expenses because none of it should be my fault, it's an accident and the pipe most likely at fault is underground, drain pipe, structural issue. I called the property management company, he explained the situation to the property manager, but the property manager quickly told him she will not do anything but if the fault is found in landlord's responsibility, then she will send her vendor to investigate.

He insisted that I move forward with the service knowing how desperate I was, but I explained to him I would like to get a second opinion. That day, He ended up accidentally leaving the sink faucet open after his attempt to hydrojet which caused further water damage. Not only he couldn't complete the service but also the sink faucet pipe left unhook, the water ended up coming out, and extended an extra day of the dehumidification process.

After trying to get different quotes for the pipe inspection, I found out at that Jack hammering was not even necessary because there were multiple access points they could run camera without jackhammering the concrete floor and those access points were clearly visible from the floor sink there was water flood where he was attempting to administer hydro jetting.

After-all, my total expenses were $1300 with no pipe cleaning, no camera inspection, charged for services that was not needed - water detection.

Do not ever work with this dishonest, unscrupulous,unethical company. Technicians/plumbers are commission shared with no set pricing in place, price gauging, their business model is set to try to charge customers as much as you can get away with it, take maximum advantage of their unfortunate situation.

With all my heart, I don't recommend this plumbing company to anyone.

Super unprofessional . I had called at night to get a plumber out . No answer .

Found someone else who did answer . Went with them .

Next morning I get 5 calls from them saying they were on their way to my place.

Quoted $1400 before running snake and then ran snake and said completely blocked and would need camera. I declined. Had my regular plumber go out who cleared line immediately no obstruction
