What a great company! We had a camera inspection done and discovered there was a ""belly"" of water trapped in our main sewer line, and it needed to be replaced. This was no small job and a very expensive one too. Initially we were told in order to reach the sewer pipe, they would have to come inside and dig up our living room. I was in shock! After much discussion they decided instead to tunnel under ground outside our home to approach the sewer pipe, and replace it.
We can't say enough wonderful things about this company. Jeffrey Young and Tony Alas went miles out of their way to make sure we were comfortable with what was going on every step of the way.
Tony and his crew were top notch,highly experienced, super friendly and on time every day. We are very happy with the finished job, and highly recommend them.

Bad company that will exploit your situation. I called this scam of a company on a Sunday afternoon and immediately should have known better when asked how i would be paying for the service. I have had clogs in the past that a simple cable snake would clear. They wanted 1200 for a jet?!? I have easily seen companies that charge less then half of that.

I got suckered into replacing my main. While in fact it needed to be replaced this company lied to me and told me that i would have to move out of my house. ""This house can not be lived in"". I felt extremely pressured to get the job done. With a straight face they wanted to charge me over ten grand for a 25 foot section of the main sewer. Im only 40 and they gave me a senior discount. Which was still overpriced. Had i known what i know now i could have saved myself over 2k. Buyer Beware! After a little research i see there reps get paid on commissions. This review is for Tracy Rygh. Tracy was professional and respectful. He was extremely competent and cleaned the work area when he was finished. Tracy is trustworthy!

After talking to my mom, it seemed like she was very happy with Tracy's work. She said that Tracy was there 2 days in a row for several hours each day. It sounded like Tracy was very patient and friendly. He was nice enough to scratch our dog. Tracy even helped my mom find her cell phone when she thought she lost it. The price sounded a little high, but I guess that's because it comes with a one year warranty.

Just a note, I'm a little confused since it says on Yelp that Michael W is the owner, but the business card shows John Ahkoian as the owner.

Called Rooter Hero for a main sewer line clog. I own a property management company and usually use LA Hydrojet, but they were super busy and couldn't make it quickly. Rooter Hero was prompt, about 45 minutes. Tech tried for about 5 minutes to snake the clog. Said he couldn't get and that I needed a $1350 camera inspection. This is not my first rodeo. I know how much camera inspections cost and I've never paid more that $350. We parted company. LA Hydrojet came out. Had the line cleared in about 10 minutes. $159. Rooter Hero is trying to scam people. Don't believe the hard luck story of the owner you here on the commercials. They obviously just want to take advantage of people. Only problem is I know this business better than them. You've been warned.

In my opinion Rooter Hero is an example of how all businesses should operate. I had my sewer line replaced 7 years ago by a company called Mr. Rooter. This past Wednesday I realized my waste was being spilled underneath my home after a plumber came out and informed me that my sewer line had an issue and needed service.
I called Mr. Rooter and was routed to Rooter Hero (who had bought Mr. Rooter's business). A team of technicians and a site manage showed up within hours. I explained the situation and they jumped into action. They hired a clean up company to remove all the waste underneath my home and then showed up the next morning at 8:00am (the promised arrival time) and repaired the sewer pipe which had become disconnected to the main line. The situation was critical to me because I was hosting a Super Bowl party on Sunday and didn't want my house smelling like crap.
The entire team at Rooter Hero was professional, courteous and always kept me updated on the situation. This includes the amazing ladies who worked at the main office and the dispatcher.
Another important note - Rooter Hero covered ALL THE COST to address the issue!
Overall an A+++++ experience with this company and I would highly recommend them to anyone requiring this type service. THANK YOU Rooter Hero!

I would give zero stars, but that's not an option. Do not use. I called early in the morning for a clogged toilet and sink. They said they would be here between 3 and 5. Got a call they were running late and would call before they came. I got a call at 8:30 p.m. that their computer crashed and they promised they would come between 11 and 1 the next day. I called at 2, they returned my call at 3 with some b.s. that they are running on a skeleton crew. and can't come until tomorrow. That's no way to do business. I cancelled and will tell everyone I know not to use them

I wholly concur with the several one-star reviews about the team at Rooter Hero in Chatsworth. Be wary of one such plumber Mike who will aggressively refer to you to one very unethical water damage restoration company - Water Damage Rescue (see previous review) to help you wrap up emergency jobs.

It's the standard ""my 'friend does a great job and I've known him for years"" jig where buddies swap clients. Had I taken two minutes two hop onto Yelp, I would have seen the numerous legal notices sent to his longtime buddy. You, too, can research the same.

The result of going with Rooter Hero/Mike's recommendation? Incompetent, reputable and unreliable contractors/subcontractors who will add to your plumbing woes and lead you down a path of legal recourse. DM for the sample termination letter, if you need a template.

And, Rooter Hero plumbers? Expect them to neglect your follow ups and move on from your concerns to unsuspecting suckers who haven't gotten to reading up on previous disastrous reviews. Stay smart, stay informed, and stay connected. Consumers should not only focus on cost when weighing bids but to look for the firm with the best track record and the best Yelp references.

Called Rooter Hero late afternoon Dec 12th for a clogged kitchen sink. Immediately after hanging up, we received a text stating that our incident report was queued & that dispatch would be contacting us with an ETA. Minutes later, dispatch called & gave us a 30-45 minute arrival time. Approximately 30 minutes later, Oscar Abrego arrived. Oscar was professional and courteous. He quoted a price of $77 dollars with a 90 day warranty, which we agreed to. Within about 30 minutes the drain was snaked & un-clogged. We will definitely refer Rooter Hero to freiends/family/neighbors etc. and will continue to use them as needed.

I just had my drain opened... by another company! The guy from Hero ""tried"" to open our drain, then explained that to do it he would have to... blah, blah, blah; $1761.00!!! But he also wanted to charge us $300 just to remove the little drain cover in the tub so we could replace it, which is when my rip off alarms went off.

This SOB stood in my house and lied to my face. I don't want to mention the name of the EXCELLENT company that actually opened the drain for less than $100, but if you click on my name you should see my other reviews and you can get it there.

This company is built to scam. They should be put out of business. I will be reporting my incident to Consumer Affairs and the the BBB (for what it's worth).
