I didn't have a chance to use their service or even get a quote. After my hot water heater sprung a leak I left a message via Yelp. I received a message to call and schedule an estimate. I had someone else coming to also give me a quote and asked to move the appointment to a later time (1 hour). My other quote got done early, so I called back. It turns out they don't service San Francisco. I asked about my appointment and all they could say was sorry. No one would have bothered to call if i didn't and I would have waited all afternoon for no one to show up. Just disappointing... If you live in San Francisco, don't bother calling.

Made me wait until 5:30 pm... supposed to be here between 10-12... then their bid was so high for a new water heater I could not believe it... $15k for a new water heater? They had options starting at $2500-$32,000... a water heater costs $400? Where is this other mark up coming from? Do not use this company... ever!!!

My husband Jerry Douglas and I had a terrible water leaking from our toilet right in the middle of the Corona Virus pandemic. We called Rooter Hero late on Saturday and bright and early Sunday morning our plumber Daniel arrived with a huge smile, a warm personality and his tool box with rubber gloves on a mask and brand new shoe covers. Daniel was beyond professional and courteous. He immediately went to work found the problem, went and bought the part installed and then gave us a free full home plumbing inspection. I can not recommend this company highly enough. They are terrific and we will be using them from now on for all our plumbing needs.

When I called and made the appointment, they were very friendly and helpful. However, 1.5 hours after scheduling (5 minutes before the scheduled appointment time) they called to cancel saying they no longer service my area. Something that should've come up during booking! Extremely unprofessional!!

John Alex and his team provided a new sewer line and clean out in a 55 year old house. They were professional & well-organized; they did a great job, cleaned up after themselves, and politely answered any question. I highly recommend this company!

Called them Monday afternoon, they said someone would be out within the hour, they couldn't quote me over the phone. Ronnie came out within 45 min and was very nice and polite. He said the snake was normally 300 something (oh crap I thought!), but they could do it on special for 77.00. So he did, also told me approximately where the clog might be and confirmed that it is probably in an area that the city is responsible for. So I can give them a try next time.
All in all I was happy with Ronnie and the work.

Scheduling:
Missed initial appointment, rescheduled the next day, and was late. According to the call center, they are short-staffed.

Plumber:
Excellent work by Julio on unclogging my washer standpipe. No complaint there. 5-star work!

I feel that it is not fair to deduct a star based on scheduling because it's not the plumber's fault that the company is short staffed.
