I had a backup in my sewer line going to the street and had a Rooter Hero coupon for $75 to clear any clog. A plumber came out and ran a snake down the line and suggested the line was invaded by roots from a nearby tree and that I would very soon need a pipe reline for around $9000. The line seemed to clear and he went on his way without charging me. Next week the line backed up again and a plumber and his Supervisor came out and they ran another snake with a camera down the line. I could see that the line didn't appear to be broken, but there were some roots and solids in the line that should have been cleared the last time they were out. The Supervisor said twice that ""there was no other way around it"", That line was hopelessly clogged with roots and debris and needed to be replaced. The supervisor said that the $9000 price tag was possibly negotiable and gave me some financing paperwork and asked me to contact him in the morning and they would get started digging up my front yard right away. They left again without charging me for the visit. The next day, I did what I should have done all along and went to Home Depot and rented a commercial snake/root cutter for $42 and did the job myself. After about an hour of work, the sudden sound of water rushing down to the street line told me that the line was finally cleared. Haven't had a problem since. I feel that Rooter Hero didn't charge me for the original job because they didn't WANT to clear the line. They wanted to sell me a $9000 reline job instead. Nice try.

Andre and Kieth came out in a very timely manner. They came and gave a free estimate for an immediate issue. Andres determination to take care of my issue was appreciated because he had tried several times with no success, and he could have stopped and recommended more work, which means more money. But he didn't, he kept trying and was able to get it done. All the while being sensitive to our needs and a true professional. I don't usually do reviews, but when someone deserves it I have no problem. thank you, Andre

Ordered service on Wednesday morning for 3-5 window on Thursday afternoon. Arrived at 503 pm. Did work. Same problem at 8pm. Called ordered service back to fix for 3-5 on Friday. Got pushed back, then back then back. Each time I only found out because I called them. They (Rosie) dispatch. Derek. Technician and Mike supervisor never called me. Finally they said next day first thing in the morning, 9am. It's now 10am and I called them. Still waiting.

RooterHero did a poor job of demolishing a wall in my bathroom to repair a plumbing leak. I was lucky they did not burn down my house when they soldered because they directed the flame toward unprotected drywall. The inside of the wall was scorched. They discarded my premium shower head with the trash and said ""too bad"" when I asked for it to be returned.

They came into my home hellbent on doing a bathroom remodel and, when that option was denied, did a sloppy job, left me a mess to clean up and put me in a position to pay someone else to complete both the demo and the plumbing.

No heroes in my book.

We had a leak in our garage that was coming from the bathroom above! We needed someone asap to come fix the problem as the drywall in the garage had let out from the excess leakage. We called several random plumbers around our area that we found online and they all charged anywhere from $120-150 an hour to just come ""look"" at the problem! Rooter Hero Plumbing was the only company that would come out, no charge, to check
everything out and tell us where exactly the leak was coming from. They even had a same day appointment! Dennis and Ruben came out and they were so professional and kind! The leak was coming from our toilet. They fixed the leak the same day and even fixed the hole in the garage ceiling. Excellent service!! We will definitely be using them again (but hope we won't have to)!!

On May 29 my toilets backed up and I contacted Rooter Hero San Diego to come out to my home to find out what the problem was. Devin, and Gabriel immediately got to work and informed me that the old cast iron pipes from 1951 had major cracks and had deteriorated. They not only diagnosed what needed to be done in a very efficient manner but got the work done in 2 days. They completely replaced the old cast iron pipes, installed clean out valves and had my house back and running faster than I could have imagined. The team of Gabriel, Marco, Michael and Devin were very professional, knowledgeable and very efficient. They kept me informed of all the work every step of the way.
I am very happy and impressed with this company. Not only do they have great service but also very competitive prices and financing. Thanks for an excellent job!

Don't waste your time. They came to un clog my kitchen. After 2 weeks it clogged again! So, They came out again and offered a ""jetted"" service for 250! Whatever get it done! Again, two weeks later...it was clogged...AGAIN! At this point they blamed it on the builder....so I contacted the builder. The builder showed me through the camera how clogged up the pipes were! I'm thinking to myself-wth did roto rooter do?! I just paid them a lot of money!!!! Called hero back-complained all the way to the top. Had managers calling me and coming to my home just to say- "" there's no way we could've jetted these pipes, there's a hard 90"" ok, whatever! Get the hell out of my house and refund my money! Don't waste your time
They are all obviously non educated and not customer friendly. I did get my $250 back- if you ask me I should have got all my money back!
