Very strange process. They answered the phone as Whittier Plumbing & Air, not Velavi. I was trying to get an estimate for new install of Daikin HVAC system. After the woman collected my address info & appt time was agreed, she said they had a $89 dispatch fee & they were running a promo for new installs only that if we go with them the fee would be waived. I said please cancel because I already had two Daikin estimates from Southwest HVAC & Thompson AC without charges or promos. Then she tried to explain that I wouldn't have to pay. I replied, 'Only if I go with you'. She laughed & said 'So do you agree'. When I said 'absolutely not', she told me to have a nice day and ended the call. If there is that much confusion, miscommunication and doubt created in the appointment scheduling phone call, I can only imagine what we could experience if we actually used this company. It's all about the first impression and that was definitely not a good one. Still scratching my head on why this is listed as Velavi on Yelp but they're answering their phone under another company name.

I called in to book an appointment the lady that answered the phone, I believe her name is Pam has such great customer service. I've had issues with company's like this before but Pam really made me feel comfortable about moving forward. THANK YOU PAM

My AC unit broke couple days ago and I called around to a few places before I chose Velavi. They had an immediate appointment available so they sent a tech out to come inspect it. He asked how old this unit is and before even inspecting the unit he suggested we replace the whole AC unit. (Mine is pretty old) but still works perfectly fine. I knew as soon as he suggested that, that he was only here to upsale me. I've been in sales for 8 years and I know all the techniques he was using lmao. He said for him to inspect and deep clean it would be over 2k. Lol what ? He and another lady that he called continued to tell me that since it was really old, it would be hard to find parts to repair it. She then said she would call me back around 6pm to go over the costs for replacing the whole unit but never did and I'm glad she didn't cause I wouldn't have wasted my time and picked up.

Anyways... I called another guy after the tech left and he came within 30 mins of calling. I had a bad fuse and recommended for me to buy a booster capacitor. Ac is now fixed. This company is greedy. Don't waste your time or money with them!

We had Velavi install a new HVAC system, ducts, and vents. 2 years later and we're still loving it. Workers were respectful and worked really hard given how hot it was in the attic! They even de-installed our old heater in the crawl space and put a wood barrier in the floor so we can still have our ornate heating vent. Can't remember the sales guy's name but he was great, too. Competitive prices. Super happy went went with Velavi.

We're very happy with our mini split installation by this company. Everyone was very professional every step of the way. It took the better part of two days because they installed ceiling cassettes that needed to be braced in the attic, but the crew thoroughly cleaned up at the end of each day before leaving. The price was quite a bit better than the other quote we got. The weather has been so mild that we haven't been able to use the system yet but we're looking forward to a chill summer and a toasty autumn.

They were very professional. I used them to install replacement ducts as my house had old ducts. The price was great for my 8 ducts. They tapped off the walls and laid floor cloths down my hallway to my attic. And another great part was that they cleaned as they went. When they were complete they swept and vacuumed. The new ducts are working incredibly well too.

Our heater decided to stop working in the middle of the night. This was a big concern since we do have an infant in our house.

Luis at Velavi was able to stop by within 48 hours and diagnose the issue. He was able to get the heater working while he ordered the replacement part. Once the replacement part arrived, he promptly made the repair.

He was fair and honest about the work and communicated what the issues were. Highly recommend Velavi!
