Would give zero stars if I could.

Guy came out and was professional to start, but brought a snake that was too short so was unable to fix it. Then he went under the house and told us we needed all new plumbing and he was going to give us a discount of $16000! He also said we needed Hydro Jetting for $1800.

I told him to put it all in writing and we needed to get second opinion. He said OK, left our property quickly and we never heard from him again. We got Letts Plumbing out to take a look and they found another washout area, was able to clean it out with a 60ft snake and the total charge was $292. No issues under the house.

What a scam!

1910 house, 1910 plumbing. The pipes all needed replacing. Couldn't have made a better choice for the job than the MARTINEZ BRANCH of Rooter Hero, especially LOGAN AND HIS TEAM CHRIS & MASON. They put my mind at ease from the start. The team showed their competence straight off-- clear in their explanations, accurate with time estimates, the brains & brawn needed to do a great job, AND ALWAYS considerate & good humored with customer!!
The job felt overwhelming to me at first and hugely relieved when finished.

A plumber from Rooter Hero visited to diagnose a clogged sink. He requested to inspect the pipes under the house. Upon inspection, he indicated that the pipes required replacement. He advised that his arrival was timely because the pipes were at risk of bursting, potentially causing a flood underneath my home. He prepared a contract and emphasized the urgency of the situation. I signed the contract. He conducted some preliminary work and left, informing me that he would return the next day. I began to experience some reservations. I have always sought a second opinion before proceeding with any work. Consequently, I contacted him that same day and requested that he put the project on hold.
I then reached out to another plumber. Upon conducting an inspection, they determined that there was no issue except that the pipes had been cut by the initial plumber. He confirmed that he could perform the necessary repair work and completed it the following day.
I contacted Rooter Hero to cancel the contract. The representative denied any deception and stated that the pipes were cut because the contract had been signed. The contract allows for cancellation within three days, which I followed. I requested to speak with his supervisor but did not receive a response. I called the office and was informed that someone would contact me. A representative called, and I explained the situation. He asked if I had written documentation from the plumber who repaired my pipes. I confirmed and sent the information. Since then, no one has returned my calls despite speaking to the office representative multiple times.
I regret not checking Yelp before this incident occurred. According to other reviews, this seems to be their standard operation.

I called this firm to clear a block drain for 2 bathrooms. After failing to clear it with a snake ($50), they told me it would take a high-pressure hose that would always clear the line to 100 feet ($1800), and then the manager would come to run a camera.
After failing with a high pressure hose, they believed the issue was a failed galvanized pipe under the house. We waited 2 hours for the manager to appear with the camera equipment. He spent 20 minutes running a cable - without showing me any results. He told me it was a failed pipe and it would cost $20,000, but he could offer me a discount of $16,000 if I signed today and they started tomorrow. He added contacting the franchise line was unnecessary; he could handle everything. He pushed hard to get an immediate agreement - a red flag.
I said I wanted to do my due diligence and get more quotes, and he should send his quote in writing. The manager, who was clearly annoyed, could not leave my house quickly enough.
FYI. After multiple quotes, I selected Echo Plumbing (licensed plumbers) they did a great job and completed the project for $9k.
The only positive comment I can make is Zach, the rooter technician, was professional - he should find a new firm!

I got multiple quotes from plumbers for the same job. And this company was nearly four times the price of my most competitive bid. Stay away and avoid. They quoted me $23,000 for a job that someone else quoted me $6,500 for.

I had a small plumbing problem - a leaky faucet - and I had an excellent experience with the company and specifically their wonderful plumber Tyler. It was in a double sink master bathroom. He did a great job on the faucet, replacing it and matching it with my other faucet (since the identical model was no longer made) and repairing the problem. He also fixed. the frozen valves under the sink. I am very satisfied with the job.

Tyler also took the time to explain to me how important it is to do a preventative maintenance on my present sewer lines . He recommends a descaling procedure that I am convinced is the right thing to do. He explained carefully an$ clearly how important this is to do since my pipes go underground. I will definitely work with this company and with Tyler in the future.

Very pricy. Make sure to do your homework, and check for prices and compare. They gave me a quote for almost $2,000. I found another establishment that provided the same service in a much lower price.

They recommended a repair that would cost $25,000. Not only was this a gross overcharge for the work, but when PG&E came out, we discovered that we didn't need to do any of what they were strongly recommending. I have seen where others have made similar complaints. Don't trust them!

Call them up yesterday because I had no hot water. They said they would come out. They then didn't come out and told me they will come out between 7 to 9 pm. They then told me they couldn't come out as they had nobody to come out. I then schedule an appointment today between 7 to 9 pm today. Sure enough no one comes and then I get a call at 7:30 telling me that they have nobody to come again. That's two days in a row of me wasting time and taking freezing cold showers. And now I need to find another plumber. Don't bother with them. Maybe they did me a favour by not turning up.

Our pipes were clogged. They had a $77 deal where they would come out and unclog them. Well that didn't help. They charged us and still didn't fix the issue. Had to get another plumber out to fix it. Also this company said our pipes were leaking and needed a full replacement. Which was false, the other plumber cleared the pipes and made sure no leaks were there.
