Rooter Hero responded to my request right away, came to my home quickly, gave me a fast free estimate with a few options, scheduled the work the following day (to allow for parts), and completed my job same day. They installed a leak detection and auto shutoff valve, new pressure regulator, and modified my plumbing to accommodate. I was able to set up the app myself and now my home will be protected from potential future damage and costly repairs. My home insurance company also offers a premium discount. The people I dealt with were also professional and courteous. I highly recommend this/them.

Before you ever think about using this predatory company, read all the YELP reviews and perform a search on NextDoor. This company is known to overcharge as much as 100% of what's customary and perform repairs that are not even needed. The field technicians operate on commissions, so they will attempt to 'Upsell' you on anything. Beware

Called them to unclog a bathroom sink and these ass*oles conned my dad into replacing all horizontal drain pipes beneath the house, told him the main sewer line going to the street was broken under ground which it wasnt, then charged him $19,000!!! All we wanted was the drain cleared out. Now were sitting still with no sewer line going out so cant use toilets or sinks till they decide to come back over and finish the job. These people are f*vking con artists... If i was there at the time, it never would have happened.

Rooter hero is a complete joke. I called them with a bit of urgency because I had a rushing sound in the downstairs bathroom. They were able to get someone to come out the next morning. The ""tech"" showed up and I showed him the issue. He was a very young man and had absolutely no idea what he was doing. After about 10 minutes of talking about random plumbing issues, he in his infinite wisdom called his supervisor on the phone. He then proceeded to repeat everything I told him and ask his supervisor with a straight face what the problem could be. To say I was annoyed was an understatement. Then queue a bunch of ""it could be this or that"" back and forth between the two of them as if he could diagnose it over the phone. After which they decided it was most likely a water heater and we needed a pressure regulating valve on the feed to the house to the tune of $5k. At this point I said whatever to his BS and send me the estimate via email because this was obviously a scam. Mind you he was blaming part of my issue on water pressure - and didn't even hook up a gauge to the house!! (he also didn't know how to use email because I never got the estimate) I reached out to a more reputable plumber in Brentwood who was out the same day, had exceptional service, and found I had a cold water slab leak.

TLDR: This business is a scam, and an incompetent one at that. Do not have them even set foot on your property, you will just waste your time.

First service was done with a low powered machine and an undersized cutter, then they tried to upsell me on a drain line video and drain replacement. Find someone else to clean your drains.

We had a flood in the garage originating from a water softening filter. It was a minor nightmare that required only a minor repair. Rooter Hero came out and gave us an estimate of $720 for the work. We knew that was price gouging, so we had Don Nichols plumbing come out and take a look. They did the repair for $170. Guess who we'll call the next time we need plumbing help.

The guys in Martinez almost took me for $43,245.16. The actual repair for leak cost $189
from reliable plumber. Buyer beware.
I'm embarrassed. Got scammed. Could have mortgaged my house. I signed and realized senior scam job. Grateful for the three day right to cancel. Lesson learned. Seniors -- please reach out to family, neighbors, and friends.

I had this company come out because we thought we had a sewer leak because there was a bad smell in our bathroom. This company told us that we had to re-pipe our whole house without even turning on water etc. they quoted us $17,000. My husband and I thought that was a bit outrageous and thank God, We got another company to come out and look. The only problem was an open vent that was causing a smell under the sink and there was a leak under the shower. The price to fix my problem was $1275. I think that this company either had someone coming out that didn't know what they were doing or they were trying to extort us , then the person that came to our house, had the nerve to come back and ask us for $100.00 because we didn't go with their company. My husband gave it to him, and as he gave him the technician told my husband that if he needs any work, we could call him directly instead of calling the company. I believe I should get my hundred dollars back and I believe I should get a call from the owner. We live in a Senior living mobile home park and I really don't want this to happen to any elderly person that doesn't know any better. They offered as 15 year loan for $200.00 a month. That may be someone's only option if they don't have any money. Very Disappointing!! Kathy D
