These guys are not honest and made me a fool to trust them.

A rookie plumber Dominick came in for a slow laundry drain, ran a snake thru a clean out and then insisted on getting camera verification. A senior plumber Dan then came in and showed areas that he interpreted as cracks and broken pipes. Out of urgency, he recommended an epoxy treatment and charged over $21k. He insisted that the work be done asap and scheduled for first thing the next day. When I asked that they delay a few days for me to get other quotes, he insisted that he was pushing the quick schedule due to scheduling limitations.

Later that day, I was part of a text string that was between the senior plumber Dan and the rookie plumber Dominick. Dan was encouraging cooperation between them ""to get their numbers up."" Dan then noticed that I was on the strong and disappeared the texts. When I commented to Dan that I had seen the texts and asked if they worked on commission, both Dan and Dominick insisted that they did not.

They arrived first thing the following morning and it only took them 2 hours to complete the job. Wow, it was billed at over $10k an hour. Nice business racket. When I finally got around to shopping the price, it turned out that the going rate for a 2 day job ran between $13k and $16k.

Boy was I the sucker. I will never again not bid out a job prior or be pressured by urgency. My trust in people took a nose dive yesterday. Please, don't get suckered by this company!

I recently used Rooter Hero and I just wanted to say how happy I was. His name was Danny and he was great ! I had a mess in under my kitchen sink and he took care of so fast and it was very reasonably priced. I was worried how much it was going to be and what a mess it was going to be. He was friendly and cleaned up so nice. I will make sure I ask for him if and when I need plumbing again. Thanks Danny from Rooter Hero!

It's hard to get good service these days! I had this progressively loud noise coming from my toilet when flushing. Danny came to the rescue and fixed my issue quickly and efficiently. He knew exactly what the issue was and got it repaired. Thank you Danny for your great service. Ask for him!

On 08/30/2023 my elderly sick mother who is in wheelchair bond contacted Rooter Hero of Pomona for a backed up kitchen sink in which she called this company that she believed was family own & honest ,she used them for toilet back up & charged a reasonable amount & she thought it was family owned about a year ago, so she called them & they charged $257.00 to come & clear the kitchen drain which would be fine but they didn't clear it & wanted to charge her $3300.00 for a kitchen drain clean out up until she called me her daughter & spoke to Austerberto Maldonado the plumber who stated the charge of $3300 after speaking to his supervisor for the clean out in which I said no such work would be done & for him to send my mother a work order & price they were asking in order clear the back in the kitchen sink. She paid them $257.00 for nothing, they not clear the sink or send her a an estimate for the work they said she needed. I contacted my plumber who went out to my moms & was able to unclog her kitchen sink & gave a estimate of $750.00 put a clean out, I also showed him the receipt that was given that stated he went in 15 to 20 feet which no way plumber said & after reading so many different franchises reviews of the Rooter Hero I realize that these companies are preying on elderly people. Please read reviews & talk to you elderly parents & for those elderly people who don't have anyone to advocate for them read the reviews. Do not use this company.

I've been using Rooter Hero the past few years for different plumbing issues. I've always received a quick response, especially from Byron who is a manager at this company. He is really responsive and always goes the extra mile to serve his customers. I recently called him regarding an issue that I had, and he resolved it within one day. He's the perfect example of what a manager is, and he values his customers.

I called them on behalf of my mom, for service on her clogged toilet. They came out under 2 hours of my phone call, and in the time period they said. Elliot and Brian were pleasant and professional upon arrival, and got right to work and fixed the plumbing to our satisfaction. We also had a coupon from a mailer so the cost was reasonable. I would use this company for services again.

These people are scam artists. They went to my 89 year old father's house and claimed he needed a $12,000+ job done to clear a toilet clog. When I said I was getting a second opinion, they put the pressure on claiming his neighbor's apartment needed to be involved and that the neighbor was on a short timeline. They said they were giving him a senior discount. I sent a trusted plumber in for a second opinion and he immediately said he could clear the line and the pipe was stable and holding water. BEWARE. SCAMMERS!!

Our upstairs shower was leaking behind the wall, which flooded through the downstairs kitchen ceiling. It was raining! Cristian came to our home, on time. He investigated, found the leak, and took photos of the damage as well as the finished product. He explained what happened (a crack in the pipe solder) and what he would need to do to make the repairs and even completed all the work in the same day. Cristian provided OUTSTANDING customer service and left our bath and kitchen clean and tidy. It wasn't cheap but more than worth the value and quality and hopefully lasts another 20 years. I highly recommend Rooter Hero and especially Cristian.

Called and appointment setter could not verify any pricing. I have a slow drain. Was told a free estimate would be given, but Jeff the supervisor and his young assistant would not give a written estimate. JEFF stated he was already here I could not get a better deal no he would not give me a written estimate. Jeff stated that he had to climb up on the roof to camera and clean the slow drain. I was told $240.00 to camera scope...most plumbers offer that for free. I told him if the total price was over there $77 drain cleaning and it was going to cost over $195. I would like to get three estimates/quotes first. I also asked why climb on the roof when the four year old plumbing has two clean out points in the front yards. He said he could not find them...WTW? I pointed them out as I asked them to leave. Jeff was told I'm the property manager and I live here, he told me to call my father he could negotiate this man to man. If you cant find the clean out service valves that are required, then how good of a plumber are you??? I'm a woman and I found them. Plumbers may have to climb on the roof when the plumbing is totally clogged, but not for a slow drain. $550. was quoted for a hydro flush out as the new pipes are plastic. Be aware! Just because I'm a woman does not mean I use my head to hold my ears apart.
