Following a very bad experience with and subs poor review Rooter Hero contracted me to offer an apology and refund. I appreciate their follow up.

This company scheduled our first appointment and blew us off for other ""priority emergency calls""... ok fair enough things happen. Rescheduled for a Sunday and after waiting for arrival, AGAIN we lose our appointment to other ""priority calls"" they want us to wait even longer on my Sunday where MY time is very valuable.

Completely unacceptable to waste My valuable time. The free market allows people to run their company how they see fit, and Also me as a consumer can choose Not to patronize a company because they want to disrespect me and my time.

This company might have the best plumbers in the world but that means nothing if they can't show up to their own chosen scheduled appointments.

Sadly I will remember and give my two cents for anyone who asks me about a good or bad plumbing business. I will never tolerate this form of time management and disrespect from a company.

Also Rooter Hero don't try to respond to this review just to save face like you care because I left a poor review, your opportunity to save face was showing up on time the first or even second time, not to try and effort on the Yelp app.

0 stars! Do not waste your time with this unreliable & undependable company. I wasted my entire Saturday waiting for them to show for an 8-10 am appt. Spoke to dispatcher & field rep multiple times. Long story short, they kept pushing back appt time, promised to show up eventually, and then ghosted me. This sorry excuse for a business did not even have the common decency to call and reschedule or apologize! I called Brad Roach Plumbing and he came out at 7:30 pm to repair my issue. BEWARE!!!

My kitchen sink was backed up on a Sunday. I filled out my contact info online and received a call almost immediately. They sent someone out about an hour later, he was friendly and professional. There was some confusion over the $77 online special that the guy on the phone said applied to my booking, but after a little haggling he ultimately honored it. Would use again.

We had a troublesome blocked kitchen pipe for about a week that was not responding to anything we tried. I used their $77 coupon and was able to set up a next day appointment which worked perfectly for me. The tech came on time and was conscientious about wearing booties to keep my dusty floor clean!

He listened to my explanation and then went out to use the pipe snake to hopefully clear the pipe. He came back a bit later and said there may still be an issue but was clear about outlining the next steps and cost. I wanted to talk it over so he left me an estimate. But thankfully his effort was great as we have had no issues since! Highly recommended.

Do not hire these people to do any service for you. One of the worst companies that I've ever dealt with. Had some keys flushed down the toilet and hired this company to help out with the backed up plumbing and to try to get the keys out. They came and could not get their camera through the toilet so they plunged the toilet to unclog it, but never found the keys. The toilet was unclogged for about a night and the next day it was clogged again, so I called them back. They came back still no keys just ran the snake through again and unclogged it, but never really fixed the issue. Once again had them come back the next day because it was backed up again. Even my shower was backed up at this point the whole house plumbing was backed up. I let them know that the keys are still in there backing up all the plumbing and they told me that the keys were long gone into the sewer that that wasn't the issue that there had to be more going on, but they could not run the camera through so how would they have known if the keys were not in there. after no success I was fed up with them and hired a new company to come in and fix the issue after I already had paid the horrible company. The new company came in, put in a cleanout system and found the keys right away. This company does not know what they are doing and just takes your money.

If I could give zero stars I would. Completely unprofessional. Came to home took apart my water heater and left. Over 24 hrs without water and no response from this Company. No response from management no help. Just SOL

When it rains it pours! Well it wasn't rain but our water heater started spewing water the other night! Not wanting water spewing all over the place overnight I started calling plumbers that offered 24 hr service. Everyone else was busy until tomorrow except Rooter Hero. They had Luis out within an hour of calling! He managed to turn off the fountain of water and determined the problem was the top connectors for the water were corroded and we needed a new water heater since ours was 15 years old. Luis gave us two estimates and we picked one and he said he'd come back in the morning to put a new one in. The next morning Miguel, the supervisor, came by and said they did not have an appropriate water heater in their warehouse and they were going to drive to their one in Walnut Creek to get one and they would be back around 1:30 pm. Around 1 pm another technician Ed came by and said he was working with Luis and Miguel and had come by to start on taking the old one out. All three guys were great and truly heroes! We now have a brand new water heater with expansion tank that doesn't spew water and works even better than the old one. We know from now on who to call for a plumbing emergency, Rooter Hero!

We have a slow draining kitchen sink. I submitted a request for quotes via Yelp.

Francisco came over today, and took care of my short term need: getting the drain unclogged with the motorized snake. Things I especially appreciated:

- call from him with an (accurate!) arrival time
- I don't know as much as I'd like about plumbing, but he listened to me and was patient answering my questions
- he got it unclogged
- after coupon it was very reasonable

I don't yet know what a longer term fix will be, but I was very satisfied with the service today.
