Complete scammers!!! We called them when our drain clogged for the $77 drain cleaning. When their plummer came he told us that we had a shitty plumbing and refused to do what he was called to and obviously trying to sell us a much more expensive job. When he teared down my shower curtains, that was it. I asked him to leave my property at least 4 times, which he refused with a smirk on his face. Finally my husband was able to lure him out with a check for a job that he didn't do. Dishonest and disrespectful, to avoid at all costs!

Called at first for Plumbing leak wanted 5500. Highest of 3 bids. Other wanted 2200 for excavation and repair and 3rd wanted 1600. Plumber said he would do it for 2200 and come on Saturday am. Mind you we were without water for over a week. No show on Saturday. Called 3x sent text. And then he texted back that his boss declined the rate after agreed already. Said I think he emailed you.
What a scam. Don't use these guys

The associates who took my calls were polite and professional. The problem I had is with their dispatcher Cindy who never called me on the day they were scheduled to come. I wasted my day waiting, and thank goodness I called because Cindy apparently called and left me a msg- which did not happen because I did not have a missed call and waited all day. I gave them a second chance and had another appointment for the following day at 10a. Same issue nobody showed at 10a and I managed to get transferred to Cindy the dispatcher and she said she only have people for an after 5pm appointment, and she never bothered to call me ahead of time. She was not a friendly person I cancelled my appointment and took my business elsewhere.

Absolutely terrible service. If you see a comment by Steven S on 8/3/2024, I had a similar experience. I called them out to my home on 9/4/2024.

SCAM! ZERO Stars!! Called them out to snake my shower drain. They ran the small hand snake down my shower drain. Said he was hitting something, but couldn't get it loose.

Exactly like Steven's, they wanted to hydrojet but said we could since we were on the top floor indoors. The plumber rep then ""called"" his boss who recommended a ""Picote descale service"" for my cast iron pipes. This service was going to cost $2,400.00. However they were going to give me a deal of $2,000. Technician offered me a side deal of $1600 direct and not through the company.

I told them thank you for the information. The issue was never fixed yet they charged me $50 for a dispatch serivce. Never fixed anything. I called JustIn Time Plumbing. They laughed when they heard I hired Rooter Hero Plumbing as they said they get calls all the time to clean up their lousy work.

Regardless, they bought in a real snake and fixed the issue in 15 minute for $135 dollars which was half of what Rooter Hero wanted to change originally. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT CALL ROOTER HERO PLUMBING & AIR. Call JustIn Time Plumbing. They are cheaper and will actually take care of you as a customer.

Zero stars if was possible please do not waste ur time and money they do not honor there discounts as posted online and will try to tell u that u need to replace ur pipes which is thousand of dollars of work because they don't want to snake the drain correctly and only try to snake it for a few minutes they don't honor ther senior citizen discounts or any of them they will tell u well we have to do this and that and when u leave reviews on other website they will call and tell u I hope u remove that review and they arnt trying to rip u off what a joke and totally un professional

Based on other reviews it seems like they really aren't all that great so it would seem they did me a favor.

SCAM! ZERO Stars!! Called them out to snake a drain. Said they won't pull up a toilet, so he ran the small hand snake down my shower drain. Said he was hitting something, but couldn't get it loose.

Next, said he needed to Hydrojet and run a camera down. Got me on speaker with his boss, who said $2000, then $1600. When he got off the phone, the tech said $1200. I pulled the toilet up for them. They ran the hydrojet for 3 minutes and stopped. Then when through my roof with no luck. Tried again through the clean out in the back yard. I then caught them in a huddle (Didn't know I was standing on the other side of my vinyl fence). One of the guys was telling them the lie they would tell me, so they could line my pipes.

They decided my pipes were collapsed and had to stop. Quoted $24k to line the pipes. That was lowered all the way down to $6k by the time they left. I DID NOT hire them. Instead, I called an honest plumber out that ran a large snake down my toilet drain, and came up with paper towels and a wad of hair! Kramer Plumbing fixed it for $120!!!!

I feel like I have a hole in my arse, the size of a cannon ball! After a $77 unclog drain call, it was determined main line was broken about 35 feet from house....first, a $1772 charge to jet and camera line, then a $14,010 charge to repair pipe and install liner from break to house.....then a $6.500 charge to install liner 25 feet to get from pipe break to city service in middle of road......Totaling $22,000!!! I was told what a good deal I got with the senior discount! I'd say it was highway robbery! Please beware of this scamming! I'm just sorry I didn't look at these reviews before having the work done! Unfortunately, when your drain clogs, so does your brain!

I had three issues that needed attention, one of which was that the dishwasher was holding water. I told Jim who acted as overseer of the projects that I didn't know whether this was a plumbing problem or a dishwasher problem. He said it would be $232 if it was fixable from their end but would refund if not. I was an idiot for believing him and for paying for everything first as he demanded. DON'T FALL FOR THIS SCAM! I had to learn the hard way, and I am writing this to help you do better than I. I have the invoices and a text for proof and am sending to the state licensing board.

I called the office to try to get this resolved, and, after I explained all this to her, she said ""someone will call you."" No one did.

I also had an air conditioner problem, and the very nice worker whose name escapes me said that it would take a month to get the part. It has been almost three months and I haven't heard back.

In any case, I would recommend looking further instead of hiring Rooter Hero.

I wish I would have read some reviews before calling. The first visit seemed great, a little quick for snaking but I wasn't out there watching, my bad. Anyway got a nice little warning about what ""might"" be the problem. Well guess what, slow drain the next day, got a call back and after reminding me what he said the day before got a $1500 quote. All I wanted was to be sure the 1st job was thorough. Need to remember to check reviews before calling anyone.
