Messaged this company to come provide me a quote for projects on my home. Talked to a nice woman who scheduled me a consultation for 1-3pm. I was called around 10am day of to confirm my appointment, and she said someone would call when they were on their way. Waited waited waited... Nobody called until 8:30pm that there was someone available and please call them back. No apology or explanation. What? No. Thank god I didn't take time off work for this. Poor customer service.

We request multiple plumbers to come out and give us a quote on our water softener system installation. The first company that came out was super rude, tried to sell us another system, and never sent me a quote. Rooter Hero was the 3rd company to come out. Mike was very professional, answered all of our questions, and gave us his professional opinion on the project. The quote was similar to the 2nd company that came out, but we decided to go with Rooter Hero because of the professionalism. I signed off on the quote and within 2 hours, Mike had called and arrived to start the job. He kept me up to date on the progress, was very polite, and even offered to personally come out if we had any issues in the future. We have definitely found our long term plumber for any issues that may pop up in the future. Great company, great service. Thanks.

Totally price gouged. Charged outrageous fee for repair of a pinhole leak in copper pipe. Do not use these guys. They will rip you off.
Lyndee Tanner: called the number you listed in your response. The woman who answered phone did not know who you are and said nobody by that name works for company. Then she transferred me to a generic voicemail. The yelp review by Ronald H is the job that I'm referencing and was completed on 8/21/2020 in Folsom. You charged us 3 1/2 times what our neighbors were charged for the same job (replacing a section of pipe).

We requested a quote for a toilet repair job through Yelp and I was told I'd get a commitment-free estimate at no cost. Then, the technician called he was on his way and said it was a minimum $50 charge no matter what. When I said I was told otherwise,he sounded confused, asked who told me that and said he'd call me back. Then he called back and confirmed that I was right. That's already a shady start because why would they be inconsistent and not communicate this with their employees?

Two technicians showed up and didn't bother to protect our floors with shoe covers.

Then, he took a look at the job and said it was going to be a lot of work and he was going to call us back with a quote. A few minutes later he knocked on our door and then helped himself right in before he opened it for him! That's so disrespectful.

Then, he asked whether we wanted him to do the entire job or just part of it because the price was going to depend on that. But he wasn't able to tell us the price of each at that moment. Doesn't make any sense why he couldn't quote us both options if he said he had talked to his manager. Again, shady!

So we asked him to talk to his manager and figure out the price and call us back when they had the quote. Well, we never heard back! This company is a joke.

The owners/managers need to understand that when people are asking for quotes, it's because something has broken in their home. It's a stressful situation and we don't have time, money, or energy to waste.

Don't waste your time or money on these companies that just stress you out more.

RooterHero was quick by being here in about 16 hrs from time of call. Pinhole in copper pipe in our garage attic about 6ft from our water heater. James did a great quick job repairing pipe in about an hour time.
Only complaint, but I agreed to it is we paid $1250 after the owner came down from $1500. Two of my neighbors had the exact (I mean identical problem with same floor plan homes) same challenge both within 24 hrs (something going on with Folsom water causing this issue) of our challenge plus a plumbing buddy in Citrus Heights said the same thing. The neighbors were charged $350 a piece. My buddy said he would charge someone $350 to $500 for the same job. So love the job, they guarantee their work, but if I was patient I would have saved $750 to $900.

After calling out another company who did not give us a good feeling, we call Rooter Hero on a recommendation. Never again! A backed up sewer line turned into a major repair. New septic lines from the main house and cottage and new leech lines. We felt we had no other option with no working septic system. We were told the job would take 5 days, that turned into 2 weeks. The cew onsite was often MIA and incompetent, I don't think they worked an 8 hour day the entire time. Parts of the job promised were forgotten and the lead had to be reminded several times. Even with a couple calls to the owner, by the time the crew was done, we had broken sprinkler lines, inches of dust everywhere, tree limbs hanging from tress, garbage left around a very choppy uneven grade and cleanouts left 2 feet above the ground. After another call to the owner a new crew was sent out to clean up the mess. That time the garbage was cleaned up and my freshly painted house was pressured wash along with everything on the back patio! Who hoses down freezers and a particle board storage cabinet and lets water soak into a cardboard box (which happened to be full of electronics)! After another call to the owner and a site visit, we thought he was going to make things right. Boy were we wrong, he was full of broken promises! I would never recommend this company, it was a nightmare for 2 weeks and we are still cleaning up after them! Not to mention, after talking with others we feel we paid way too much for the job. And here were are 2 weeks after they finished and we are still finding damage. Someone from corporate, we are assuming, tried to reach us but never followed up. Stay away from this company! Beware!

This place is awful! I was told I had a slab leak and that it would cost me 25,000 dollars! The Tech Gregory was a fast talker and had me convinced to get a loan through a company that he recommended! Luckily there was a glitch with the credit not going through! I got second estimate of 4,500 dollars from another plumber BUT then because my floors were damaged I had to have homeowners come in and long story short there never was a leak it ending up being my HVAC which was fixed for 234 dollars! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!!!!
