Unfortunately I've had an absolutely horrendous experience with this company. I am also going to report it to the Better Business Bureau and I am now facing a small claims case qoth Rooter Gard. We negotiated a
comprehensive look at our toilet for which they said I would not need to hire a quarterly plumber to snake, for at least a year. They also guarantee their work for 15 years but be warned, this doesn't mean that they're telling you necessarily that they're going to guarantee your toilet is going to work after they're done. They are just guaranteeing that their cement work or whatever work, Negligent or the correct job or not, they decided to do to get their a couple grand out of you is what they feel they should guarantee. However, we will let the judge decide in court. Absolutely the worst possible nightmare plumbing scenarios where you always feel like they're trying to get more money from you. I say move onto the next Google plumbing company and save yourself the headache and Hardik of this atrocious nightmare company.

FOur 1961 SFV tract home on a slab with original galvanized pipes had sudden and complete sewage back up and overflow.

Andres and his team explored the history of the house, all previous work, and then proceeded to diagnose the issue using extensive experience with older homes and technology. He explained and showed us via camera what happened;
1. construction worker cemented over exterior clean-out,
2. a corroded and broken pipe with dirt intrusion starting under the house
3. a broken-off piece of metal snake line from a previous attempt to clear the line from a couple of month prior by the same idiots that cemented over the clean-out

They treated our home like it was their own- from how they treated our belongings, our pets, the interior and exterior- EVERYTHING.

Andres also explained how to keep the rest of our galvanized piping healthy through periodic descaling so that we do not have to do this again (showed us via camera us those pipes too, so we descaled them as well- they were FULL of gunk on all sides of the pipe, but there were no breaks, thankfully). We also discussed recoating those lines as an alternative to periodic descale).

Are they the cheapest? No- how can they be, with this level of detail, experience, success, and execution? This was a five-day repair with three to seven people working full shifts.

Consider how vital plumbing is to the functionality of your home- if you were having gastrointestinal or cardio-pulmonary surgery, you would want the best surgeons, hospitals, and care, not the cheapest. You would also want to fix the problem, not manage it. If this is your philosophy for your home, consider going with the best.

I called Rooterguard to fix 2 slow bathroom sink drains because they advertised $59 to fix drains. I did not think it a realistic price but I called anyway thinking at most I'd be charged $150. Their technician came, looked around and said the work would involve going thru the vent with high pressure something or other and would cost $700 to $800. This is needed because the sinks were not connected to the main line. I declined. I called around and found someone to do the job for $160. No high pressure machine was used. The fellow disconnected the P Trap and ran his rooter thru the pipe fixing the problem.

My KitchenSink Was Clogged called about 15 places no one wanted to come out and help except Rooter Guard. Unfortunately they couldn't come out the same day because it was passed 6pm. I made an appointment the next morning they came on time. My Technicians Name Was Andres Came Out Very Kind And Professional Knocked My Problem Out The Park Gave Me Some Options Before We Started He Came With His Mask On Kept His Distance Due To COVID. Which I Really Appreciated These Guys Are Hero's you Know You Need That Kitchen Sink On A Daily Bases. Would Definitely Recommend

This past Saturday I required a drain cleaning service for my cottage in Santa Monica.
After reviewing several listings on Yelp I contacted your company and was told that a technician could be on-site within 2 hours. I discussed your advertised rate of $59.00 per drain and was told that was correct.
$59 or It's Free Drain Clearing + 2 Hour Arrival*
Sale Price$59.00 (whatever that means).
Your technician (Oscar) arrived at 1PM and with my tenant present said that there were 3 drains that may be needed to be snaked and the price may be $146.00.
I said if 3 drains needed to be snaked ""so be it"".
Fifteen minutes later he had snaked one drain (the bath/shower) and the problem was solved.
One drain!
He came to me and wanted $146.00. I said he snaked 1 drain...$59.00!
He said there were 2 additional sinks in the house making it 3 drains.
He didn't snake those sinks/drains.
1 drain $59.00!
He said $146.00 or nothing. I said I would write a very negative Yelp review.
He left without $59.00
I am enclosing a check in the amount of $59.00 to cover the advertised cost of cleaning one drain.

Not a good experience. Classic up sell when they're half way done. Pipe clogged again 2 days after they finished. I had to get another company to clean out the pipe for $50 after they were done because I didn't trust them to come back. And then they broke a sprinkler head and buried it so it started eroding where they had dug to fix the pipe. Looking back who knows how much I over spent because of false claims by this company.
