Called to get my service requested from rooter express and Leo was very professional with his job, explained everything that needed to be done and got it done. Once he was done he sent over a cleaning lady come by and cleaned the mess before leavingWill definitely be recommending my family and friends for any service needed. Thank you so much.

My first question to al that replied was ""do you do shower pans?"" Lev (or Lou) said that he did and quoted: The shower pan had leaked water into the bedroom below.
""Estimate scope of work will be to remove shower tiles and redo hot mop and install new drain and replace hot and cold shower valves and redo entire shower tiles $5,000-$6,500"".
He later added:
Scope of work will be to remove molded walls and install new walls for shower and hydro ban all of shower walls and do tile all the way to the end of the sealing and replace shower stem for shower head
The new total quoted was $9,350.
He later added: $400 to replace copper piping. The new total was $9,750.
I expressed that I did not want him to use the big tiles he suggested. I was given no choice in the tile and he did use the very large tiles that he wanted to use.
When finished, the total job was unacceptable and very unprofessional. Tiles were protruding, the entire tile job was sloppy. The floor tiles had so much grout on them, you could not even see the tiles. The room was filthy. He had mopped the floor that had a lot of debris and put the mop water in the bad tub, without cleaning the badtub. The floor and the walls, the linen closet, toilet, the bathtub and shelving, everything was covered in dust and water still leaked into the bedroom below. After complaining, he sent a friend of his, who did construction, to tear everything he had done apart and start all over again.

The new person, from Groud Up Construction, redid the shower, using the same tiles (again, I was given no choice of tiles) said that the leak originated from outside the shower, just outside the shower door and he had to replace the entire bathroom floor.
We agreed that his friend from Rooter Express would pay for anything to do with the shower, since I had already paid for that.
As it turned out, he charged me $7,000 to repair the water leak, replace plywood, reinforce floor with wonder board and new ceramic tile (of his choice).
I had a previous bid for $5,000 to replace the bedroom ceiling below the bathroom, solve the mold problem and paint the room. He added support studs to be nailed to the existing studs to support the damaged beams for $5,200. He said he gave me a $1000. discount. Hist grand total was $11,200.
I am a senior citizen on a fixed income, so this has devastated me. Having workers in my house for over a month, carrying dust and tile chips throughout the house has been extremely hard. Now, I have the aftermath of cleaning everything in my house that is covered in dust, concrete chips and tile chips.
Debris stopped up the pipes and Sarkis (Monopoly Man) from Ground Up Construction contacted Rooter Express to rooter the pipes and release the debris, so that the drains would work again. He came, rooted the pipes and the water flowed for a day. Then everything backed up again. Will I call him to fix that? Probably not.
Would I ever hire Rotter Express again. NEVER!!!!! Would I recommend anyone hire them? NEVER!!!! Will I use Yelp to help me find other companies I may need, probably not!

These people are incompetent. I had some very basic plumbing problems I needed fixed and, although they gave me a low initial estimate, they jury rigged most of the ""fixes"" and actually did more damage than they fixed. Then they tried to sell me parts I didn't need and ended up abandoning the job. I could detect their incompetence while they worked but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. This was a mistake. Now I have to have another plumber evaluate their errors and fix them.

I am not used to give bad reviews but this time have to give a bad rating to this company. I was told that to run the snake they had to break on the wall and will charge me $875.00 after paying him $225. I said needed to talk to my husband. My husband got another plumber next day fixed and cleans all the pipes and sink, did a wonderful job for $150.00. He ripped me off. Never using him again.

Rooter Express did a great job with our water pressure, water regulator and with installing our new trenchless sewer pipe replacement. The guys worked fast and got the job done well.

Leo was quick to respond and get on the job luckily for me in the same day! He was able to fix the clogged toilet pipe and advise me on how to prevent similar issues going forward and gave me advice on proper tools to use to solve similar situations going forward. He also gave me advice on the toilet health in general and showed me other issues I may want to watch out for, overall great service!
