Friendly and timely service for a competitive price. The guy on the phone was courteous and straightforward in his pricing. The crew of three led by Randy was very friendly. They called me twice to give me an update on when they would be at my place. The job comes with a 1 year warranty. The price was also good and 50% cheaper than one of their competitor in Studio City. They opened my mainline in 30 minutes with the hydrojet and left a clean place.

Having said all this, and in retrospect, they did open the main line but left a lot of roots from what we could see from the camera. They told me they couldn't do better. I had to call them a month later and use the warranty to hydrojet the line again. The problem came back 10 month later. This time, I called another company and they hydrojeted the same mainline but this time there was no root left. The line was perfectly clear of roots. It's been more than 1 year and I haven't had any problem.

Either the Rooter Buster guys don't have the proper head that goes on the hydrojet or they knowingly don't use it to have the opportunity to come regularly. The bottom line, I've paid too much for whatever they've tried to do.

I love these guys!! They are very friendly, helpful, on time, very clean, very professional. I was given all of my options prior to having any work done. Idk how other people feel ripped off if they are given options before anything... You always have the option to walk away instead of crying on a website that YOU made a wrong decision!
Either way... These guys are great and i will use them for any of my plumbing needs!!

EVERYONE BEWARE...Especially women!

Here is my experience with this company:

I spoke with Sam and he said it would be $57 to unclog a tub. I asked him specifically if the price go up at all because I've had horrible experiences with men raising prices on me because I'm a woman who doesn't know much about these things. He said ""Nope! If they have to do anything special and the price goes up. They will let you know, but they shouldn't have to."" Randy showed up to my residence and went around to the side of the house and said the $57 special was only for customers who have a pipe on the side of the house with easy access. Now the price would be $129 because he would have to snake it from inside. I was so irritated that Sam didn't mention that to me when I asked him about this! I really needed my tub unclogged and I was really counting on them so I agreed.

After a few minutes he said he couldn't snake it and that he would have to access it from the pipe on the side of the house (THE PIPE THAT HE SAID WASN'T THERE ORIGINALLY!). I asked him if it would be hard to get to... and he said ""No, not at all"" (WHICH MEANS THE PIPE HAD EASY ACCESS). He said it would be an additional $120 now!

I asked him if I had any other cheaper options and he said that he could leave with the issue not fixed keep the money that I already paid him. I felt like I was being scammed. I felt pressured to pay the extra money because I had already gave them so much money. I didn't want to give $129 away and not have my issue fixed. They totally took advantage of me.

I spoke with Sam about this issue the next day and he was very rude and short with me. All I wanted was an apology. I would never do business with them again! I wouldn't even refer them to my worst enemy.

How did $57 turn to $249?? You should be ashamed of yourselves Rooter Buster Plumbing Services! I wish you the best with you company, but please believe that what goes around comes around.

Randy came out today and fixed our clogged drain in no time. Very honest, very straightforward and he looked to do the job as economically as possible. You rock, Randy!

Long story short. Randy will rip you off. He openly bragged to us that his boss is going to be really happy with him because he's billing these other two customers way above the normal rate. In the same breath he assured us that we were getting a good deal...

We called Rooter Buster because our main line was clogged. Randy gave us the lowest quote out of the 4 plumbers we had look at it. It took them 4 days to snake our main line...and now we found out that we have 50-60 gallons of waste water sitting under our house, which wasn't there before Rooter Buster came to fix our clog. We paid over $1000 to Rooter Buster to fix a problem, not create a bigger one! We have since found an honest and reliable plumber, Affordable Plumbing Services. Stay away from Rooter Buster!!

we obviously weren't calling trying to look for a fun time. our bathroom tub was overflowing because the main drain was clogged. mike diamond and roto rooter came saying they wouldnt be able to snake the line from the toilet. hence the unfortunate call to rooter buster. randy comes- great. says he can do it but we need a main access point to snake the line. ok so a $400 +/- job becomes $650 +/- job. ok let's just get it done. so next day randy et al comes over and starts working on it (by the way, no standing water under the house at this time). he has his ""person"" do the job while he is in and out all day. ok (- I'm very excited at this point to have this done). randy reassures us that after they are finished, they will snake the line and his ""boss"" will come to put the camera in the line to make sure everything is clear, blah blah five year warranty. great! his ""person"" starts the job and he comes by and says ""bad news- there are cracked pipes- this is going to cost $1k."" so we proceed. guy is finished and randy says he is going to come back in a bit with his boss to snake the line and put the camera in. 4pm rolls by - randy says boss couldn't make it today but will come back tomorrow. I ask ""uh- are you going to snake the line (the reason we asked you over here?). yes he says- but ""I don't have the machine""- wait- randy- isn't that why you were here to begin with? then he says there are cracks on the pipes under the house. it needs to be fixed. if we do it now, it'll be an additional 1K. but if we do it another day, it'll be 2K - im no mathematician, but that didnt add up so i said ill think about it. randy says he will come back tomorrow. with boss and the damn snake. 24 hours later. no boss, no snake, no randy. oh. and here we are today- one month later with 40-50 gallons of sewage water under the house that needs to be excavated ($200 job) courtesy of randy. hey rooter buster, thanks for dicking us around.

We had a clogged main drainage pipe. This company charges $57 to snake it. Their plumber used one of the smaller snakes I've ever seen a plumber use. As expected, it didn't do anything. He was charging $750 for hydrojet and to scope pipes with a camera. The plumber said that if tree roots are the cause, the cost will go up. I scouted around and found a plumber who used hydrojet, scoped with a camera, and took care of the tree roots...and only charged $400 for the whole job.

I'm giving Sam and the company 5 stars. I had a leaky toilet at my rental late at night. Called around to have a plumber come out. Rooter Buster plumbing was the only company that would come outside of regular business hours. They were there at 7am and fixed the problem before my tenants had to go to work. I'll highly recommend them.

Talked to the person in the office and explained I had a clog in a 2nd floor bathroom sink about 2' past the trap that my home snake could not get through. The person quoted me $57 and had me print out the Internet coupon. When I later spoke to the technician he said he would not honor the price. That even though the clog was only 2' away (I had removed the trap) that since it was on the 2nd floor it was not considered ""proper access"" and would be more. I told him ""Thanks anyway"" and sent him away.

Talk about save the day/night. It was Friday, about 8pm and out of nowhere, the bathroom floor flooded and was quickly spilling into the living room. Total emergency situation as this flood was threatening to destroy the carpet and furniture and had no idea how to stop it. Randy at Rooter Buster was here within an hour of my call. He checked every possible situation on the entire property and when he found the problem, he carefully showed me the issue and offered three smart solutions. He also cleaned up the flood and disinfected the bathroom.

If your friends ever ask you, ""Hey do you know a good plumber in LA?"" Have them call these dudes and ask for Randy. Total pros and super nice.
