I don't know if it's me...but appointments, reservations, or showing up to a job on time mean little to nothing nowadays.
was set to have an appointment at 8 this morning with Rescue Rooter to come out and do their thing and at 9:30 when I called, they told me my appointment was for 10-12. cool...switch my appointment. we get to 1:30 and I call again...he got backed up. cool, no worries ...but no communication. so I left my number and get a call at 2 that they are on the way. no eta, nothing. still siting here at 3:10, writing this review...waiting.
awful communication and terrible communication. couldn't tell you how good of a job they did...still not here

Steer clear of these crooks!! Im saddened because I've has such full faith in this company, so much so that if any friends or family mentioned plumbing issues or asked if I knew a good place I always recommended them, however I had them out to my home on the 12th of September for the shower drain backing up, they said they'd be there by 4 and did not show up until almost 530 then they did get the tub to.drain by using the snake but did not use a camera just the snake. This was $300, great was happy all was good, now as he's leaving says if any problems in 30 days it's free of charge to come back out. Now today Oct 6th tub is backing up again, they come out and say yes its free unless we find a toy or cap in the drain. So he uses the snake and this time camera and what does he say, ""see told you a cap!"" never actually producing a cap to show us out of the drain and now this time just became another $150 payment. I no longer feel this company is trustworthy or honest and will not be using them or referring others to them. Please save yourself a headache and money and find someone else, they do not stick to their word or policies!!

I had a clog on the kitchen lateral.
phone quote was 125 on site wanted 350.
I work in LA as building inspector, they saw my 20 daughter and pumped the price. said they couldn't reach it with a regular snake.
totally B.S. rip-off. buyer beware.

Zero stars. Our house sink was clogged . The plumber came and ""fixed it"" . He busted a pipe and cause a huge leak. He was paid $200 to unclog the sink. We called him and let him know that it was leaking pretty bad 5 minutes after he left. This was the day before Thanksgiving. He didn't even bother to come back when he was only 5 minutes away .

This place was recommended to me by the FB group, Blessings in the AV for a clogged sink.

I spoke with Sylvia who seemed nice. I told her the clog was definitely beyond the trap and in the wall. I let her know that I had already removed all the piping and that my snake wouldn't reach. She assured me it would only be $85 and that someone could arrive between 12:30pm - 1:30pm that day.

A little before 1pm, Sylvia texted me to let me know that the technician was stuck on a job that turned out to be bigger, however he would still be able to come later today. She assured me that she would let me know when he was on the way.

Around 2:30 PM, the technician phoned me to let me know he was on the way. He said he would be here in about 10 minutes. About 40 minutes later, I called him back and he tells me, ""I'm pulling up now, I had to stop for gas."" He arrived about five minutes later.

Once he arrives, he tells me that the job will be about $125 because it was beyond the trap. I told them that when I spoke to the young lady, I told her that and was still quoted the $85. He told me he needed to call the office for them to honor the price, however when he returned, he said it would be about $125 and asked what I COULD pay. I let him know that I only had $85 because I had to go and get cash since they only take cash/check. He said he would figure things out.

While trying to clear the clog manually, I was working at the counter and he occludes one sink while applying pressure to the other side, simultaneously splashing water all over me, my computer and counter. He doesn't apologize or even acknowledge the mishap.

Unable to clear the sink, he tells me he will work with me and got his special snake but still couldn't clear the clog. He mentioned using some specialized machine outside that would cost $225 total and that I could Zelle the rest.

He writes me up an invoice, clears the clog and pretty much leaves.

The next day, I notice that the water pressure had changed, which we have never had an issue with in the past. I call the company back and she assures me, it happens sometimes and the tech could come back out the next day (around 10:30am) because he happened to be off that day. She says, ""Don't worry, we won't charge you. This happens all the time, he will know exactly what to do.""

The next morning at 9:16am, the same technician called me again to ask what the exact issue had been. After explaining, he advised me that one had nothing do with the other. I then asked, ""well why did the young lady say this happens all the time and that you would know exactly what to do?"" He says, well it does but it's a separate issue. He assured me he would be here around the time Sylvia had mentioned.

Around 11:15 AM I tried to reach out to Sylvia but she didn't respond to my calls or texts.

Around 11:24 AM, he sends me a text to let me know that he was on his way. About 40 minutes later, I call him again and he says, I'm actually pulling up now. He finally arrives about 5 minutes later, around 12:18PM, assesses the pipes, goes back to his car and returns with an invoice for $75! I was floored! After waiting two hours for him to even arrive and the lady telling me it would be no charge, he attempts to charge me AGAIN!

NEVER EVER AGAIN!! I love to support small businesses, especially post-COVID but they don't ever have to worry about me contacting them ever again!!

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Andrew for helping me to fix my plumbing issue over the phone. You saved all the water to my house. I didn't even have to have him come out. He did this over the phone on a Sunday on a Labor day weekend. I will always use you guys in the future for any plumbing issues.

Best plumbers in AV hands down . Very honest and trustworthy people. Also they always keep there word if they give you a warranty they will stand by it .
