This is the worst plumbing company I have ever encountered - and I spent over 30 years in residential construction and knew of many reliable, truthful plumbing companies. We have only one bathroom and one toilet - none of fixtures would drain. They were informed of this.

They were called first at 11 am this morning - promised plumber by 3 PM today - the plumber called at 3:30, said he'd gotten stuck in traffic, but was on his way, wasn't too far away.

Later, we received a call from the office--that plumber had been called away on an ""emergency"", but they were sending another plumber. We said fine. A little after 5pm, the office called and said that the second plumber was stuck in traffic, so they were sending out a THIRD plumber, who'd be here by 6pm.

Six pm came and no plumber, so we called the office, who promised the plumber would be here by 6:25. We informed them that if they couldn't be here by 6:30 that we were cancelling and would call a reliable plumber
Then we were promised a plumber by 6:30 pm - NO PLUMBER. So we left.
We have to believe that this company only hires pathological liars or they have a great deal of trouble with the truth. No one likes to be lied to and this company managed to lie to us 4 times.
No one needs the frustration of being lied to this many times - once is one too many time. They managed to lie to us from 11 am until 6:30 pm 7.5 hours.

This company was called out by our Property Management. We had a TERRIBLE clog to where both toilets and shower were nonfunctional. Chris was AMAZING! Took every measure possible to address and fix the issue. Very courteous, great communication, and went above and beyond when it came to making it so we were not inconvenienced and cleaned up after himself. Thank you Chris!

Don't use this unprofessional company! ! We called on Friday at 5pm to report that our clean out that they just supposedly fixed the night before, was backed up again. They said someone would call back within an hour..never happened. It is now Saturday morning, we have called twice, still no call back. They don't stand behind their work and have very poor, no , actually nonexistent customer service! !

I would never recommend this Company to anyone. Their Technician lied to me, then over charged me. I would never ever call this company again and warned my friends and family on facebook about them.

I had Rooney's plumbing remove a shower stand and install a tub in the the bathroom. He did a great job and I would use him again. The price was competitive and the job was done right.

I want to commend Kevin Rooney and his crew for doing a really good job with the trenchless pipe replacement of my 64 year old, crumbling orangeburg sewer line. They were pleasant and professional. They kept to the original quote that I was given and I was informed of every step throughout the process, including the permits and county inspections. They also installed a clean-out which my older house did not have.
The clean-out will save me money in the future, because in the past when I had called other plumbers for backup problems, the toilet had to be removed for snaking, then had to be re-set with the wax ring ( $$$$$). I would recommend this company for any of your plumbing needs and I will call them in the future if I need help!

Amazing service. We've had emergencies at work and they arrive fast and do a great job. We've used many plumbers but now only use Rooney Plumbing.

Our water heater was leaking - I called Rooney's out of the Yellow Pages without checking them out first. They came right out, which was great. Informed us and our landlord that we needed a new water heater - ours was old, bottom leaking. Everyone concurred and they said they could do it right then. It took several hours to get the new water heater out here but the job finally began with a crew of 3, with a ""Larry P."" in charge. The job seemed to go on forever. I finally asked if there was a hang-up and Larry informed me that a pipe had broken off inside the wall, that he only had 1 pipe wrench and was waiting for someone to bring him another wrench. We offered him the use of our pipe wrenches - he didn't respond. (Why would a plumber arrive with a truck and 3 men and have only 1 wrench to do a job?) Finally, another truck with another plumber and more tools arrived. This work-then-wait pattern continued through-out the day. FINALLY the new water heater was in and Larry left. Just as he pulled away I discovered there was no water to one of the bathroom sinks. We tried to catch Larry and immediately called him 3 times - no answer, no response to our messages. We went thru the 4th of July holiday with 9 people in the house and no sink in one of the bathrooms. Following the holiday I called Rooney's again. Larry answered, acted like he'd never heard of us, and then reluctantly said he would try to fit us in at some point but that he had a full day - when I emphasized that this was their job, he said he was going to charge our landlord for having to come back out. He showed up late in the day, walked in, removed the screen from the bathroom faucet, cleaned out a bunch of rust that had been knocked loose from the job they did (older, rusty pipes) and told me this was not part of their service. (Even though this was a result of the work they did.) I said, ""If you knew what the problem was why didn't you just tell me on the phone and you would not have had to come out."" No response. The entire time he was here Larry acted put upon, as if this job was our fault and we were imposing upon him. I have no idea why he took the job. Here we were offering the crew cold drinks, trying to be cooperative and hospitable, thanking them for working in the heat, and Larry behaved like a complete jerk. We also discovered after the job was finished that when they used our front hose to drain the old water heater they pinched the female connector on the end of hose into an oval shape, so it can't be used any longer - we'll have to cut the hose to replace the connector. We will not use Rooney's again and we do not recommend them. BTW, ""Chuck"" on the first crew was very pleasant and cheerful.

Fairly happy with them, how would I know, they seemed to know what they were talking about. Two issues: my yard was left with a mound of dirt that I had to level, places where I stood my foot went down a foot because the dirt wasn't filled in fully around the pipe. All the grass plugs they carefully set to the side and told me to water to keep alive were not replaced but buried in the dirt they refilled the hole in with.

I take responsibility for my ignorance as to cost but then during a conversation they let it slip out that they 'up-sold' the job and shared the money with a plumber who passed my name on to them - to me it sounds like the dollars weren't based on the actual cost to do the job but on a number pulled out of a hat and given to a dumb lady.
