Jason and his helper Nick just fixed my kitchen drain/stack problem in our older house. They got the job done fast, also knowledgable, courteous, competent, and best of all reasonably priced. had quote from another plumber was WAY over priced. Will be calling again for plumbing issues.

Ron's has serviced plumbing in my home as well as in the rental property I owned until recently. They are professional, efficient, and cost effective. They don't do more than is necessary and are honest in their assessment of your needs and, best of all, they don't give up until it's fixed.

I used Ron's Plumbing because of recommendations on this site, but my experience was bad experience.

I paid $1,300 to have them move my gas stove, install a dishwasher/disposal, and a refrigerator. The salesman who came to our house was very nice, but:
1. The plumber was rude
2. He turned off the gas and did not relight all of the pilot lights, including the furnace
3. I called the owner, and he said the guy hasn't been right because of medical issues, apologized, and said he would talk to the plumber.

The same plumber came back to complete the job, and after turning off the gas again:
1. Took apart the logs in the gas fireplace to light the pilot light - logs that were carefully set to ensure proper air flow - and did not replace them.
2. Did not connect the dishwasher and disposal to the electricity.
3. Did not make sure the dishwasher was working and that water was flowing through the refrigerator. This is arguably a dishwasher and refrigerator set-up issue, but someone qualified to work with gas should have known this - and he was paid to install the dishwasher and refrigerator.

I would never use them again, and do not recommend anyone else use them either.

Called Monday 9/17 lady who answered the phone was super rude and told me they would call me the next day because I needed an appointment (which I thought it was by appointment only always) and then they never called! Won't try again!

Had a gas leak and service was shut off. Trying to find a plumber after 4 pm is nearly impossible but I got a hold of these guys and they got me in the next day. A lot of South City plumbers both big and small had waiting times of over a week.

Ron's Plumbing installed a new toilet and sink in my half-bath. Extremely happy with their work. Very pleasant to work with and showed up on time. Cleaned everything up before leaving. And their prices are very reasonable too. Would absolutely recommend them.

Had a semi clogged basement drain for a long time. I got used to it. The other day it clogged almost completely. I contacted several plumbing companies and chose Ron's. Made an appointment and Matt came out, on time, he was very efficient and knowledgeable and opened the drain. He checked it several times running water through the drain. I have put Ron's Plumbing number in my address book and will use them again if need be. Very satisfied.

I had a garbage disposal emergency last week a few days before I was supposed to host Mother's Day. I found Ron's by looking on Nextdoor after my go to plumber couldn't get me in until after the wknd. She took my info and scheduled me for the next day. Matt came over and took a look at my issue, fixed it, as well as finding something stuck in my pipe. He was in and out in under an hour and could not have been nicer and more professional. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone who asked. Oh and the price was also great!! Ron's is my new go to:-)

I recommend Ron's plumbing based upon his ability to get the work done promptly, the price (compared to the competition), and the skill and efficiency of the plumber that did the work (Jason). We were very pleased with all of that. The only reason Ron did not get 5 stars from me was because we were selling our house and a lien waiver was required by the lending company. It took multiple requests from myself and my real estate agent to actually get that document secured.

I called them after the warranty company's plumber said that the pipes under my basement floor had collapsed. I would need to dig up the floor or reroute the plumbing. Ron's came out on my time frame and was on time. Fixed the clog in about 45 minutes. No collapsed pipe, I just needed a persistent plumber. Would definitely recommend.
