Called Ron's Plumbing at recommendation of a neighbor who said they had done an excellent job. Our water heater was going into frequent lockout , leaving us without hot water for a day or two at a time. A two-man crew came out to take a look at our 2010 80-gallon power-vented heater and suggested that given the age (14 years), they would recommend a new heater, but were happy to attempt to fix my current one.

They laid out the options for a replacement heater as well as tankless ones. I asked for and received a quote for the installation of a Navien tankless, and they encouraged me to research it and give them a call back (and zero sales pressure!).

Based on my research, the Navien unit comes highly recommended, and the quote I was provided (with labor included) was quite fair. I was able to schedule installation the very next day, and the owner Ron and Randy did the install. They emptied the old tank, removed it, added the new unit, reconfigured all piping as needed, and tested it without any issues.

The final price was within 4% of the original quote, which was great, and I now have an endless hot water supply system rated to last up to 20 years. Highly recommend Ron's Plumbing and feel they are efficient, honest, and knowledgable.

Had Ronnie to the house to switch garbage disposal to larger sink. Now the smaller sink leaks, but when I called him back, he could not find a leak. He came back again and still couldn't find anything and wanted to charge me for a service call if he had to come back. Clearly it is a new build and I never had a lead prior to his service. STAY AWAY -- MONEY HUNGRY AND DOESN'T GUARANTEE HIS WORK.

Amazing how they stay in business when they flat out lie. Part was supposedly in, but it wasn't, until days later. Then, when it REALLY was in, he found some # FREE TIME"" to help another customer and skipped over us. Great way to do business. Guess I didn't have "" the money for the work"".
Pretty sad...
