Roney Plumbing has been great for the 5 years I've been using them. I see some bad reviews, but it sounds like another company. Maybe the bad reviews come from newcomers to Somerset, that have not settled into this great community and the friendly atmosphere. I have never been overcharged. Rick

Beware these guys will try to charge you for work they don't even do. We received a bill for $400 for work they didn't even do. Well listen up you won't be getting it for nothing!

My kitchen sink was stopped up & my toilet was leaking at the base. They came & snaked out the drain & put a new wax ring on toilet. That night sink drain stopped up again. They came out again & replaced drain pipe. The next day I called them back & told them my toilet was leaking again.several days later they came back and told me it wasn't leaking. I told them it was. They did nothing to resolve this issue. They told me if it leaked again they would come back. Well for 2weeks they have been giving me excuses & ignoring me when I call. They tell me plumber will be out but they don't .No response & my toilet is still leaking . very dissatisfied . They continue to lie to me

For the positive, a child answered the phone on a Sunday. The adult female who eventually got on the phone said that it would be Tuesday before someone could come out but they were able to come Monday instead. . Bad news is they do not have the machine that detects leaks but rather a probe that checks for moisture. This is something we had specifically asked Result= This business doesn't own a detector. but rather a moisture sensor. Bill/ 75.00service call.

Had work done over a month ago-was going to charge me extra for Saturday so told them to forget it. Paid the bill via charge card and a few days later got the itemized bill and was charged for lots of work I did. Tried getting a refund on the charge card-they do not know how to credit a charge card. Have had 4 weeks of lies and the check is in the mail. Still have yet to get my refund. Monday will file forms with small claims court and they will end up paying court costs also. Pathetic service told them I needed 3/4 in and 1/2 in ball shut off valves and of course they did not bring them-had to go back to the shop.
