A realtor who managed my properties used Nace plumbing. He was highly recommend. I also called him when I had a issue at my home. I continued to phone Nolan when ever there was an issue. He repaired a leak with my radiator. However, 6 months ago I phoned him when I learned my stack pipe and drain needed replacing. He came over, mentioned he had just done a job like mine and then told me to get a home equity loan. He then gave me a number to another plumber. Odd! I had another leak coming from my bathroom. I again phoned Nolan. He came out, instructed me to cut a hole in the ceiling and said he would come back out to check where the leak was coming from. I called and left a message to confirm the appointment. He never showed or called. I have referred Nolan to many family members and friends. Unfortunately, I will not refer his business again.

Why should you care what I think?
I'm an electrician on Yelp with only 5-star reviews (35+ reviews) ... So you'd think that I might know a thing or two about dealing with contractors, right? Well I do ... and I still hate hiring contractors as much as you do.

Here's the what happened: I'm leaving on vacation when I get a call from a tenant for a clogged drain. I run over there, try plunging and taking apart the trap, but no luck ... so I start the dreaded process of seeking the Unicorn of the Contracting World: a reasonable plumber who is available to deal with this problem by interacting with my tenant and not screwing me or bugging me while I'm in Hawaii.
Enter Jim Nolan.
Jim is easy to talk to, listens to what I did ... and then I hear the blessed sound of silence. Until I get a text from my tenant saying that Jim is done, drain works and ... Wait. It only cost how much?!?

So let's go through that list again:

Reliable, reasonable, and great guys. Jim, who worked for Ron for a long time, now owns the business. Ron still helps out behind the scenes. They do great work and I recommend them all the time. They fixed all the plumbing in our house and even installed a front spigot so I can water the plants.

I cannot say enough good words about these guys!! They are very dependable and will NOT over-charge you like so many other plumbers. They are very nice and very honest!! And you don't find that too often these days. Call them!! You'll be so glad you did!!

I had been having a problem with my rear yard drain not draining in turn it was making water run into my basement whenever it rained a lot so I finally got tired of the problem and called 3 plumber's (that got high recommendations from ""supposed customers"" that posted reviews on yelp) but only Ron called me back (how the others got such high ratings but never returned my call is beyond me) Anyway, Ron called me the next morning and asked could he come out sometime that day which was fine. I thought it was going to be a big job due to me having one other person come look at it but couldn't figure out what was wrong. So I just had plans to gather a few estimates and get the work done when the weather was warmer (considering in my mind it was going to be a big job!) ...Well Ron came out, evaluated the problem & solved it the same day!...I couldn't believe it and the best part was the price was very reasonable (im guessing since he isn't one of those BIG COMPANIES with a BIG NAME with a BIG OVERHEAD that forces companies to RIP PEOPLE OFF FOR BIG BUCKS!!!!) BUT HIS WORK IS AS GOOD AS THE BIG GUYS!!!...I'm a huge Yelper because I believe ppl should be recognized for the good and bad that they do and Ron most definitely is one of the good guys out there that deserve the recognition!!

My three year old gas heater stopped working at 2:00PM, I called Ron Nace, he said he was tied up, but he said he would see what he could do, in less then an hour he sent one of his men over and my heater was fixed by 3:15PM. The men were courteous, clean and very kind. The price was unbelievable, Ron Nace will be my plumber in the future, for my home and business. Call him, you will not be disappointed.
