We have a Carrier Weather Maker 8000 that decided to stop working right in the middle of a cold snap. I'm a handyman, but this one was out of my league, so I decided to bring in help. I called several HVAC companies only to find that the cold weather was creating lots of business for them and I'd have to wait a week or so to get a technician to my house. Good for them, terrible for me. I also left messages for a few that were out on calls. About to give up, I got a call back from Mike at Ron Williams Plumbing and Heating. He said he was right around the corner and could be at my house in 5-10 minutes. Mike arrived quickly and jumped right in to diagnose the problem. After a few minutes, he found a bad limit switch and ran back to his shop to get a replacement part. Ten minutes later, I heard him back tinkering in my garage and had the new limit switch installed without a hitch. Mike was extremely courteous, he clearly explained every step of his diagnosis and repair (yes, I am one of those annoying guys that hovers around contractors while they are woking).

If Mike hadn't called back, I'd be at the store, buying another bundle of firewood right now, eagerly awaiting a different HVAC company's backlog to clear. What a blessing to have had Mike right in my neighborhood and get my heater working within an hour of me calling him. If Yelp had six stars, I'd give Mike all six.

We have an old heater in our ranch house, and when it stopped working in late December it got cold in a hurry. I called first thing in the morning and Mark Williams came out to our house that day between 12-2:00 p.m. He was on time, familiar with our old heater, and got it fixed in less than 20 minutes. Mark advised me about the options for replacing it if I wanted to, but no hard pressure sell.

I'd call him again, highly recommended.

They came to my mom's house and gave us a very fair estimate. They were very professional in the installation of a new heater and then came back to make a repair and now my mom is very toasty. Both Brian and Ron were great to work with. I highly recommend them. Much Appreciated for all your time and hard work.

Answered the phone right away. Unfortunately will not service the unincorporated areas of San Mateo county so you may want to look elsewhere if you live in the area.

This is the best plumbing company that I have ever used. Mark Williams is a true professional. He arrived 15 minutes early, quickly assessed the situation and in 15 minutes he had done what I asked, I,e. Removed an old kitchen faucet and installed a new one. And his price was very reasonable. I will use this company anytime that I have plumbing or heating issues. This is truly a 5 star company in its field.

Our toilet and bathtub backed up today a weekend and we had no one to call from our rental agency and I looked up redwood city plumbing and Ron Williams came up. Mark answered when I called and was at my house within 15 mins and gave us great service and reasonable price. And also told us how the guy from the landlord was not snaking correct line. We had an emergency when our backyard faucet broke and started gushing water earlier today. I just started going down the Yelp listings, calling to see who could come ASAP. We were super lucky that these folks were available. They were professional, efficient, charged a reasonable rate and did NOT try to upsell us (a big pet peeve of ours). Its nice to deal with true pros in the plumbing business,not only did they fixed my problems quickly they also were very fair with their pricing. Mark and Brian fixed and modernized my old plumbing. I couldnt be happier I highly recommend this high rated company.

I had to call Ron Williams when my heater died in January. He showed up straight away on a Sunday, saw that the heater was dead, ordered a new one and was at my house Monday morning to install it. Super fast and incredibly nice. I would highly recommend Ron Williams heating services to anyone.
