Mark at Ron Williams Plumbing is the best! We had a major sewer clog on a Sunday and he was here in less than 30 minutes! He's honest, professional and gets the job done. We have the Cal Water interior plumbing insurance (total waste of money unless you have the exterior insurance as well) and the plumber they sent out two days before only snaked to the exterior wall and left - disaster waiting to happen. On Sunday at 5pm, the toilet and tub were overflowing! Tried Home Serve (absolutely no help) and the original plumber (left 2 messages and never called me back even though they say they do ""emergency repairs"").
We then called Mark who has helped us on several plumbing emergencies in the past and he came immediately and fixed the problem by snaking out to the street. I wouldn't recommend any other plumber in the Bay Area! Thank you Mark!

All it took was one simple call and Ron made himself available within a matter of a couple hours. He squeezed us in between his other appointments and was punctual and professional. One Saturday I had a Direct TV installer at my house and he carelessly drilled through a water line. Having to shut the water main off to both my house and the front house, I was desperate to find a plumber to come out last minute on a weekend to fix the pipe. I called and spoke to Mark Williams and he was empathetic to my situation and went out of his way to come by my residence and remedy the situation so as to be able to have our main water turned back on within an hour of the mishap. Mark Williams was very professional to work with and his rates were extremely reasonable given the excellence of service he provided on such short notice. I will definitely be using his company in the future and referring all my friends and family to him as well.

Called Ron Williams Plumbing and Heating after our furnace stopped functioning during the recent cold snap and we hadn't had heat for 2+ days. Mark called me back but because of a large backload couldn't come out for 5 days or more. He asked me to describe the problem and he said to check the batteries in the thermostat. That was the perfect diagnosis and the problem was fixed by me in less than 5 minutes! He could have put me on the list and charged for a home call but instead was responsive and honest. He is at the top of my ""to call"" list when something actually does go wrong the next time. Thanks, Mark - great customer service!

We have a Carrier Weather Maker 8000 that decided to stop working right in the middle of a cold snap. I'm a handyman, but this one was out of my league, so I decided to bring in help. I called several HVAC companies only to find that the cold weather was creating lots of business for them and I'd have to wait a week or so to get a technician to my house. Good for them, terrible for me. I also left messages for a few that were out on calls. About to give up, I got a call back from Mike at Ron Williams Plumbing and Heating. He said he was right around the corner and could be at my house in 5-10 minutes. Mike arrived quickly and jumped right in to diagnose the problem. After a few minutes, he found a bad limit switch and ran back to his shop to get a replacement part. Ten minutes later, I heard him back tinkering in my garage and had the new limit switch installed without a hitch. Mike was extremely courteous, he clearly explained every step of his diagnosis and repair (yes, I am one of those annoying guys that hovers around contractors while they are woking).

If Mike hadn't called back, I'd be at the store, buying another bundle of firewood right now, eagerly awaiting a different HVAC company's backlog to clear. What a blessing to have had Mike right in my neighborhood and get my heater working within an hour of me calling him. If Yelp had six stars, I'd give Mike all six.

We have an old heater in our ranch house, and when it stopped working in late December it got cold in a hurry. I called first thing in the morning and Mark Williams came out to our house that day between 12-2:00 p.m. He was on time, familiar with our old heater, and got it fixed in less than 20 minutes. Mark advised me about the options for replacing it if I wanted to, but no hard pressure sell.

I'd call him again, highly recommended.

They came to my mom's house and gave us a very fair estimate. They were very professional in the installation of a new heater and then came back to make a repair and now my mom is very toasty. Answered the phone right away. Unfortunately will not service the unincorporated areas of San Mateo county so you may want to look elsewhere if you live in the area.

This is the best plumbing company that I have ever used. Mark Williams is a true professional. He arrived 15 minutes early, quickly assessed the situation and in 15 minutes he had done what I asked, I,e. Removed an old kitchen faucet and installed a new one. And his price was very reasonable. I will use this company anytime that I have plumbing or heating issues. This is truly a 5 star company in its field.
