Disreputable and disingenuous.

Unwilling to account for failure to effect lasting fix of a simple home plumbing problem [ toilet that kept running after flush ] yet persistent in delivering high fee bills for failed work. Stated justification was ' everything was working when we left '.

Okay Ron, so to stay with you I need to budget nearly $400 a month to keep a toilet operational.

Sounds reasonable.

I own several rental properties, and have been using Ron the Plumber on two of those properties for the past six months or so. So far, he has proven to be reliable, prompt and efficient. His prices for a basic service call are fair, and he has yet to ""trump up"" a larger project for himself. So far, so good!

I had a plumber from this company out to my house to replace the hot and cold water valves that connect to my washer and when I got the bill I was also shocked. It was over 200 dollars. While the job got done I thought the price was too high for such a simple replacement.

I had a very slow leak in my bathroom (hot water) and although I knew how easy it would be to fix, I also knew that there could be some calcium buildup in the hot-water valve and didn't want to risk breaking it and creating a flood. So I had them come, and the guy who came was able to fix it in about 5-7 minutes--which was great. What was definitely NOT great was the bill for $130 for less than ten minutes of work. Seems way too expensive for such a simple (and short) fix. Next time, I'm going to try to find someone else who is more economical.

And by the looks of other reviews, I'm not alone in my assessment of his overpriced service.

i have complicated antiquated crazy fixtures and ONLY steve and ron have been able to work on them. they are punctual, experienced, meticulous excellent contractors and i have been thanked by everyone I've recommended them to. I can't imagine better service
