Found my local plumber. We needed to replace a section of 1.5"" piping under our house. We contacted three plumbers for estimates. Two of them lied saying they would need two guys digging for two days to remove all of our in-ground pipes and total it would be a four day job north of $5k. Problem is our pipes aren't in-ground. Romo came in, told us the truth, and it took two courteous plumbers a few hours at the fraction of the price.

There are other good plumbers who service the area, but our first choice moving forward is Romo.

Called Romo plumbing today at 2:20pm after another plumbing company canceled the app to today. I had an emergency kitchen clog, that needed to be drained.
They sent a plumber at 3pm and he fixed the issue.
The cost was only $98 and the service guys were courteous.
A-1 Service I recommend, and they cleaned up the area.

Worst plumbing job. Beware of the overcharges and lack of professionalism. I never had any bad experiences with plumbing companies till now. I regret calling for their services. They came to unclog my toilet I paid $98 then my tub started draining slow I called back they sent someone else I wasn't aware that I will charge a full price again. Really almost 200$ don't waste your time and money

The helpful dispatcher, Maria, was able to give me an affordable quote almost instantly and was able to have her men at my job site within 24 hours. The friendly technician, Frank, arrived on time. He worked quietly and efficiently. The best part was that he left the place cleaner than it was when he first arrived.

I have apartment units and I'm not new to fair plumbing repair costs. I recently purchased units in San Pedro. I was looking for an honest, reasonable plumber in the area. I usually pay around $400 for a water heater and between $250 and $350 for installation, depending on the size of the unit. Romo's estimate was $1400 to $1600 for a 30 Gal. unit - Highway Robbery. If they are charging over $1000 for installation, they very well better provide a heavenly experience... They are on my Do not call list. Get three estimate people!

Needed water heater help at our rental. Maria in the office is fantastic. Kept me posted on what was happening all day long. The plumbers got there in the estimated time frame and got the heater in working order. Very polite and respectful. I truly appreciate that. I assume their rates are comparable to other plumbing businesses. My primary concern was having someone show up and getting the job done correctly. Definitely met and exceeded my expectations. Outstanding responsiveness and service for a clog that had sewage coming up our bath tubs. I called late on a Friday night, and they arrived early the next day. The dispatcher called to update us on the technicians' arrival time and later to make sure we were satisfied with the excellent service. Very nice folks, too.

We have rental property in San Pedro and needed a plumber. After waiting 4 hours on a Saturday for a plumber from another company to arrive, the plumber told us we needed to replace the water heater and there were a few other parts that needed to be replaced. It would be a 5 to 6 hour job and he would need assistance and there were no other plumbers available to assist him so we would have to wait until Monday. We didn't want our tenants to go without hot water for two days. So I found Romo Plumbing on Yelp and decided to give them a call, not expecting anyone to answer the phone since it was now 3:30 Saturday afternoon. I was so happy when Maria answered the phone. She was so kind and helpful and understood our need to have our plumbing problem fixed that day. Within one hour from my call to Romo Plumbing, Maria had a plumber at the apartment. Frank, the plumber, and his assistant Richard were professional and courteous. By 8 pm Saturday the job was complete and everyone was happy. We have found a plumber we will call for all our future plumbing needs. Thank you Maria, Frank and Richard for doing a fantastic job!

I have never posted a review of any sort, but felt that the personal and professional service I have received from Romo Plumbing was so outstanding, that I had to let others know how great they are.
Six months ago we moved into a nightmare house in San Pedro. Everything from plumbing, roof, asbestos, windows,electrical you name it needed fixing. The first week we were in the house, we had sewage coming up out of our shower and tub area. We had a home warranty plumber come out 3 times in one week. Not only did they not fix the problem, they refused to check anything under the house and left the sewer cap off after they snaked the lines. This spilled sewage under the house. The home warranty plumber would not take responsibility for the sewage spill.
Enter Frank from Romo Plumbing. Romo Plumbing did have any part in the toxic mess or smell under our house, but Frank immediately assessed the problem and arranged for a toxic waste specialist company to come clean up the mess under our house. Afterwards he cleaned the clogged pipes the right way.
Romo plumbing also came and corrected the kitchen plumbing which was held together by duct tape and the outside garden faucet which was connected to the hot water line instead of cold.
We have so much faith in Romo Plumbing and the quality work they do, that we recently had them replace all the sewer pipes under the house.
When you move to a new area, you don't know who to call for home repairs. I am so glad we found Romo Plumbing. Their plumber Frank is a young man, but he really knows what he is doing. He takes pride in his work and guarantees his repairs. He is punctual, courteous, and his work can be trusted. I appreciate that he is careful and never leaves a mess in my house. He has also been a valuable resource for the other repairs this house has needed. I have his cell number (which he answers) I know I can count on him to come ASAP.
Maria, who is the office manager is always cheerful and a joy to chat with. She always works with me to schedule repairs as quickly as possible. Between her and Frank, Romo plumbing has been a God send and one of the only bright stars in what has been dismal move.
