Had them at my house today to do annual service on my AC unit. Technician, Bryan, seemed nice enough, but tried to sell me a part that they sold me last year for $311. Said I should be proactive and get one since it is just outside of the range of what it should be. I said it sounded like what they sold me last year and asked him to look it up and he said it was just something to keep an eye and that I probably don't need it now. I asked how long they last and he said about 3 years but you never know with these things. I looked it up and it gave a range of 10-20 which means I probably did not need one last year for my 6-year-old unit. Then I noticed his boss was sitting across the street in a car, probably to make sure he did the upsell and try and talk me into it, which he did not since I would be nuts to replace a part from a year ago. Again, Bryan was nice, but probably under pressure to upsell. Be very careful with them.
Roland J Down expert exceeds my expectations. I had issues with my heating system and they provided excellent service. They are very reliable and dependable to get the job done. They show up within the timeframe they have promised. I absolutely 100% will recommend to any of my friends and families or anyone. It's a five star service! My sincere gratitude for giving my comfort back!!
I called and made an appointment for a tech to come look at my AC. The person on the phone scheduled me for that day but didn't give me an arrival time. I waited all day. At around 6:00 I called again and the person on the phone checked my appointment and assured me that the tech would be there within the hour. I waited longer. By 8:30 at night, I was done and called to cancel. They told me the technician had stopped working at 3:00 that afternoon!!!!!! What? I waited literally all day. Ridiculous. No call to cancel with me, and they literally told me the tech was coming even though he'd apparently stopped working hours earlier!
Matt and his team ( Ethan & Justin) finallly figured out the long unsolved problem with our boiler installation. Matt is incredible! Thank you also to Grant & Patrick for listening to us.

Our furnace was making quite a racket and needed to be serviced. We called Roland J Down to set up an appointment to have it serviced. It turned out that we needed a new furnace. The next day, Jack and Brian took out the old furnace, installed a new furnace, and set up a new thermostat. They were punctual, very neat, friendly, and professional. We are very pleased with the entire process.
I have a two zone forced air heat and ac system. Probably used for about 2/3 of its lifespan. Everything was working fine and I had them come for a ""Precision Tune-Up"" in December '22 to keep the system working well. 60 days later the unit stops working. I had them come back. They charged me a service visit fee and gave me very high price quotes for a new unit (over $10,000) or to replace the inducer motor ($909) and they did not honor the offer on the Precision Tune-Up promo card, ""If your system breaks down within 90 days of our service, we guarantee your money back."" This reeks of sabotage. I recommend to stay away from this company.
After the tech left, I reopened the furnace, let the inducer motor cool down. After 15 minutes, I restarted the furnace, spun the inducer motor by hand until it took and starting spinning on its own. Now working. Will it fail again soon? Maybe so or maybe not. I will see after it cycles off and back on again. In any case, if I, an amateur, could get the furnace started with help from a youtube tutorial, perhaps the tech should have done so also.
I scheduled an appointment and the technician never showed or called.when I called customer service they pretty much acted like it wasn't a big deal and would reschedule but then noted they had the wrong type of technician scheduled right from the start. Not a surprise they have a 1.5 star rating
Michael B.Bought are house three years ago, the day we closed the AC unit went out. Had a heat pump put in and did the service plus plan. It was explained that for the first year the monthly payments would not goto the balance. But after that first year then I would be paying down the balance. Called today to get the payoff. I own about 1,000 dollars more than when we signed the contract. I was on the phone with the rep and could not make heads nor tails on why I owed more. We will be paying this off soon and try to find another company to do are yearly service.
If you can I would recommend buying everything upfront and not do this plan.
