We developed a problem with using multiple spigots at once - it just started happening. I've had mixed experiences with the larger companies, so decided to call a small business. I chose Roger's Plumbing. Roger answered on the first call and I described the problem. He arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, and fixed it. He was pleasant to converse with, and provided detail on the problems with a show-and-tell of the well pressure switch. I am so happy that we chose Roger, and will keep his number in our address book speed-dial under ""Plumber."" I highly recommend him.

I am a pretty handy guy for the most part managing my farm but when my hot water heater went after 7 years, I went to Lowes and purchased a replacement 40 gallon tank. My friend and I removed the old one and installed the new one with copper tubing but a leak at one joint was leaking water once we turned the water on. We went without water overnight and at 8 am started calling plumbers in a 30 mile radius who could come the same day and repair the leaking joint as I had Airbnb guests arriving the next day at noon. I don't use Angie's list ever but I do like Yelp. I looked at plumbers on Yelp and Roger's Plumbing was near the top of the list but with no reviews. It was 8:30 in the morning and I called the number. Roger answered. He said he was busy but realizing I had no water, he came right over, arriving 45 minutes later. Within 45 minutes he not only fixed my one leaking joint but he also re-soldered my other 5 joints completely as well as repositioned my hot and cold water lines so there was no possibility that water would remain in these horizontal pipes coming into and out of the hot water heater. By 10 am I had hot water again thanks to Roger. He was pleasant, professional and cheaper than other plumbers who called and quoted me higher fees. I will keep his business card handy forever as I trusted him completely and will use him again. Thank goodness for Yelp!! And Roger!! Of the four other plumbers in the Yellow Pages I called prior to Roger, only one called back that same day. Lastly, I learned Roger is a big Civil War buff and we shared a story about this as well prior to his leaving. (PS: my info says Beverly Hills. I am in the process of relocating there from Woodville, Va. where I will continue to maintain my farm).
