Pat did a great job for me. I left him with a difficult task created by another plumber. He was thoughtful, meticulous, and determined. It took him and his skilled apprentice a few hours, but he worked it out and did a great job. The fee was what I expected.

They are horrible plain and simple! If I could give lower then one star I would! They showed up late and lied about the costs after they were there! Stay far away from them!

Roger's plumbing is a scam. Do not use this plumber. He is way over priced and does not keep his word. If you are a contractor definitely stay away from him.

Have to agree with other reviews about overcharging. I was charged $150 an hour for him to drive from Takoma Park to Beltsville to pick up a part. And guess what, one month later, same leak returned. I can only guess what the return visit would cost.

We were away actually on a business trip in China when our son called and told us there was water all over our basement floor. We were all in a panic as it sounded like more than 20 gallons of water was flooding the basement and we had no idea where it might be coming from. We called friends and neighbors to ask if they could assist and one of our friends determined it was either coming from the roof or perhaps a pipe had burst no one knew where it was coming from. Our friend suggested we call a plumber and we called three to no avail, he called his wife who suggested Rogers Plumbing and Heating...it was after 8 pm local time so we expected again another call with no response. Our call was picked up after only 2 rings, Mr. Rogers responded right away after asking us for the phone number to reach our son he quickly somehow trouble shooted the leaking water issue and determined we had a busted water heater. He told our son what to do, how to stop the leak and how to turn the heater off and made it out within 15 minutes phone call to arrival. We had a water heater that was over 5 years old, one he said was still under warranty - we would never have known and he quickly replaced the water heater, had an indoor - outdoor vacuum with him and helped our son with the remaining spillage, insured our drywall was not damaged and told us to contact him when we returned to settle up the bill. There is no one out there we will ever trust with our home and belongings ever again. We continue to use him, Pat today and have had several of our friends remark on how beautiful our new bathroom is after Pat replaced our outdated fixtures even moving them around to allow more space. We can't say enough about the friendly, professional and thoroughness this company has and there are no words, Pat you are the best!! Thank you from all of us for serving your customers with only their best interest in mind!

Pat Rogers has been our plumber for more than 30 years. He has not only been their for me, but all our family and friends. If you call he comes and does an excellent job at a reasonable price. I think some of these other posts may be from customers who either weren't listening or had a lot more going on with their plumbing. Pat is professional, friendly, very experienced an all about the customer and their needs. We will never call any one else.

He charged $400 to partially unclog a toilet, including returning for supplies (unclogging chemicals) he should have had with him.

Over the phone the owner (Pat Rogers) told me that they would charge $150 / hr to unclog my house drain. Mr. Rogers showed up at my house (on a Monday) at 09:15 AM and was finished unclogging the drain and cleaning up by 10:30 AM. At the rate he quoted that would be $187.50, but he said that since he had to come into the house, it would be $525! I will never use this company again and separately I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. You can do a lot better.

Don't say you haven't been warned! I truly wish I did not have a hazardous plumbing emergency and instead had more time to research a decent plumbing company. But when I'd asked neighbors/forum members for emergency referrals this was the company name I was given. I checked them out online I found that this company didn't have any reviews despite being licensed and in business for 10 years according to the state licensing website. Not even 1 or 2 reviews, but since I got referrals, I decided to go ahead. Well, it didn't take me long to realize that the owner Pat Rogers ""business practices"" seemed to be questionable at best. Getting an estimate PRIOR to his beginning to dig was totally impossible. He gave me a thousand excuses as to why he couldn't provid a written estimate until he had tunneled under my house. He claimed he had no way of knowing what was the cause of my catastrophic plumbing problem. But when he finally gave me the estimate, he claimed he had already done all the necessary repairs and I now owed him $6500.00 (yes the equivalent of an entire bathroom remodeling). He then proceeded to hold me hostage, by stating he wouldn't come back out to close up the hole he'd dug unless I paid him Check or Cash first.

Seriously, how do these guys sleep at night!!! One day though his bad Juju will come back to bite him.

So, let me be clear, even if you have a life threatening plumbing emergency Demand a written estimate Before you let Pat Rogers Plumbing start digging. If you don't be, prepared to be hosed and bullied by this plumber. If at all possible skip using this company.

be ware. he went in without my permission and fixed then charged $400 labor for 1:30 hour service. without my knowledge, he cut the wall to repair something that i just wanted water pipe turned off.
the total was $444.00. how could this be fair? at least he could have called me letting me know he's getting inside the house!

when he said he'd charge overtime for the night service, i said i'll call him back with my decision to have this done. when i got to the house, he found the key and went in. just numb founding and naive that i was.

the address isn't up to date online either.
