Recommended Customer Reviews
I was so fortunate to find this small company. I had 2 toilets that needed to be fixed; as well as a ceiling fan that was hanging by cords from the ceiling. He was very efficient and helpful. All was fixed at a very good price. I would definitely call again.
Hi yawl,
On Wednesday, Oct 23rd, a young Technician named Cole Seamster came to my home to followup and check on our heating and cooling systems.
We had purchased a new furnace within the last 12 mths or so. He came by for follow-up and due dilligence.
Very professional, friendly and full of knowledge. We had had to cancel several times due to family matters and some storm damage. Rogers is/was always understanding.
Thanks Cole, for everything. I wish you the best.
Everyone at Rogers, peace and good health to ya.

Called for service on my generac generator. Jamey was the technician.
Very professional and smart, hard to find nowadays. Oil change, filters, batteries check and codes check, And it was raining . He actually put an umbrella over my unit, not him.
In this day and age, it's nice to know that there are still company's out there that understand great customer service. Thank you again,,,, Wes Lester
We called Rogers when our downstairs unit went out and they came out to diagnose the issue, that was an $85 charge. No complaints there and they came out quickly-- however, on their second trip to fix the issue, we were told there was nothing they could do to fix it and that we would need to get another unit and that the unit would cost us $13,500 minimum to get an equal or greater than HVAC in comparison to the one we had. We explained to them that we were not in the financial position to pay that all at once and financing was not an option for us at the moment, so the technician said he could do a temporary fix that would ""get us through the summer season"" while we got ourselves into a better position for a new HVAC. We were very appreciative, but the repair sadly only lasted for 4 days-- NOT the ""summer season"" like we were told. When we called customer service, they quoted us another $1,800 for a fix, and none of $1,400 would have been applied to that total. That would be a total of $3,285 for repairs when the first one either was not done properly, or was misdiagnosed from the start. The only offset they offered was to not charge for labor to do a second repair. When we told them that the technician said the repair would get us through the summer, their response was that the paperwork says no repairs are guaranteed. We would not have made the decision to throw $1,400 down the drain without the confident statement of our technician that it would be a good option for us, since we were unable to get a new unit. We rely on professionals to tell us about the things we do not know about and unfortunately in this case, ours was wrong and we will not see any of our $1,400 back. We will not be calling Rogers in the future or recommending them to our family or friends.
Rogers Heating & Cooling is the very best heating and cooling company we have experienced. They have always responded to service calls the same day. We have purchased two heat pumps from them and rate them A++. They saved our Christmas this year! Our 13 year old heat pump died, and our family was due here in 5 days. We were going to cancel, until we called Rogers. They had a complete new heat pump system delivered and installed in TWO DAYS, at a very affordable price! It works beautifully. Every one of their employees are professional, courteous and really care about doing the best job they can for their customers. Their national rating reflects that.
Buyer Beware, especially disabled veterans!
This company will increase the price 50% or more than the original estimate, without explanation, then not complete the project. The breaker box used was twice as big as necessary, causing them to needlessly remove an interior outlet. Nearly an month after they were on site, the job is still incomplete. Work was promised to be performed simultaneously with the power company but was not, even after we demanded they do so. Presumably more damage has occurred due to weather and their refusal to comply with original plans and ""promises"". Their ""follow-up"" consisted of two phone calls to find out why we gave them a poor rating; when asked, the disabled vet said how they could ""make it right"" but absolutely nothing has happened AND THE JOB REMAINS INCOMPLETE! They will record your conversations without your knowledge. They will fully take advantage of disabled veterans. We will never use this company again nor will we ever recommend them.
I would not recommend Rogers Heating & Cooling to anyone. I wanted to have one of those metal carports put on my property next to my home. The spot where I wanted to put it is directly underneath the powerline from the pole to the house. Dominion Energy advised that they would move my power source underground from the pole to the house for free. In order to do that, Dominion Energy said I would have to change the meter base on my house, at my expense. I contacted Rogers to give me a price for doing that. SHOCKINGLY, THE PRICE THEY QUOTED TO DO THE WORK WAS MORE THAN THE TOTAL COST OF THE NEW CARPORT. I did a little bit of research and found out that the new meter base would cost anywhere from $100 to about $220. The rest of their price was the labor element. In discussing the issue with Dominion Energy, they advised that the contractor would have to get a permit, remove & de-energize the meter, remove the old meter base, install the new meter base, and then put the electric meter onto the new base. The power company said it was about a two hour job. Rogers Heating & Cooling price was so high, they ruined my hopes of getting a carport. Then, just the other day, I contacted Rogers to give me a price on a winter tuneup for my HVAC system. Again, their price was extremely high. I have been retired for 24 years, and I cannot afford to let contractors price gouge me like this. Be very careful who you trust, because it looks to me like Rogers wants to get rich off of every single job they do.
Roger's did a great job installing both a new HVAC and a new generator. they were polite and professional. Highly recommend!
Gerrante was super. He gave us great advise ans was super with staying within our budget. Great saleman and really super nice!!!!
Last week a tech came out to the daughters house in Phenix, VA. after her unit froze up and could find nothing wrong except to tell her the outside pipe needed to be insulated which she did. Lastnight the unit froze up again and the power box for the air handler started throwing sparks. They are suppose to be out again today to find the problem. I'll send another review when they are done with this visit.
